  1. Sorry to hear about that. But getting a hair transplant done in India is a big No-NO. If you look carefully at your hairline you can see a very pluggy appearance. This is not the ultra refined technique done by top coalition docs. Be wise and for your third surgery go to a top doc like Feller, Rahal, Hasson and Wong, Shapiro or any other doc recommended in the coalition.
  2. Sonu, Do yourself a favour and do NOT get a hair transplant done in India. Most of the surgeons in India are not capable of sucessful hair transplantation, they are just looking to rip off people. Wait for a few years and start saving up money. Once you have enough, you can fly either to the US or Canada and have a hair transplant done with some of the top doctors in the world like Feller,H&W, Rahal, Shapiro. Do not let any Indian doctor touch your head or you will regret it later. As for Dr Mahadevia, he is no better than others, look at his before and after pictures and compare it with the doctors mentioned above. So wait a while and do your research. This is a life changing decision , do not rush into it.
  3. I was in Dr Feller's office for a consultation recently. As soon as I met with the doctor, I quickly told him what I wanted done and he understood exactly what I was looking for , right from the placement of the hairline to the area to be covered. What struck me immediately with Dr Feller was that he is extremely passionate about giving you the best possible result and also there are probably very few surgeons in the world who have the kind of experience that Dr Feller has. All this aside, the single most important factor that I liked about Dr Feller is that he is such a nice guy, very easy to talk to and really put me at ease. I am looking forward to having my procedure done with him.

  5. shamil, your grafts are placed very far apart. This will greatly compromise the density of the hair in the front. Does'nt this concern you?
  6. Hi Naren Finx or finesteride is a drug that will help you keep your existing hair but may or may not promote hair growth. However finesteride is a drug that may cause serious sexual side effects in some people such as loss of libido etc. So think twice about using finesteride. Dont bother using hair oils as there is no scientific evidence to prove that these hair oils promote hair growth.
  7. Hi Guys My question is about the blood work that we need to have done before a HT. Are there any specific things we need to look for in our blood tests or is it just a general precautionary step, your thoughts on this please.

  11. Hi I'm new to this forum. Im 24 years old and am considering a hair transplant. I have chosen two doctors (I am yet to decide among them): Dr Hasson and Dr Rahal for my transplant. I have a few questions about them I thought you could help me with. Does Dr hasson perform transplants on younger patients? Which of the above doctors provides the best density and I would also like to know which one of them can create the most natural hairline. Thanks Guys.
