  1. This must be one of the smallest sessions Dr Hasson has ever done, nevertheless , as always an excellent result from H&W.
  2. I agree with hairthere , at this point it is still early to make any judgement calls , I have a lot of faith in Dr Feller and his abilities , which explains why I went to him in the first place.
  3. Thanks windjc, I am going to get another procedure anyway , even if this turns out to be a stellar result because I need to fill in the mid scalp and maybe get some temporal work, so that's a given , the question is which Dr am I going to go to.
  4. I agree with you windjc lets give it few more months, If after that I am not satisfied with the result , I'll damn well come out and say it.
  5. I have to agree with windjc, Spex's statement , I think quite frankly does not make any sense, are different areas of your scalp programmed to grow differently?, at this point in the hair transplant, the hairline is pluggy and sparse at best. However at about 8 months post op, I am willing to give the HT few more months , but at the end of 12 months if the result is still poor, then I leave it to the members of the forum to decide for themselves.
  6. Thanks Bill! I agree with you, I think there is still time before calling it a final result, where'd it go, I think you are being a bit too harsh on Dr Feller, I still have at least 5 months to go before getting a final outcome.
  7. Hi Spex, Please take a look at my updated pics and tell me what you think.
  8. My hairline has taken shape but there is hopefully more filling in to come, I would say I am about 50-60% of what I want the end result to be.
  9. Hi guys check out my hairloss blog for updated photos at 7.5 months post op.Please let me know what you think. Both photos taken with flash.
  10. I agree with Bill, always try to stick with recommended surgeons. Dr Madhu is the only doctor from India who is recommended on this forum.
  11. If you have very thin hair , thats going to probably fall of anyway, Protein powders will not cause hair to drop. However avoid all supplements 7-10 before the procedure.
  12. In my opinion there really is no one in the New England area. But the ideal choice would be Dr Feller in New York. I live in MA but went to see Dr Feller and was very happy with the whole procedure.
  13. Ok, I am about 7 1/2 months post op. So far everything is on track. I just wanted to know at this point how much growth should I expect?
  14. you know what, I have always wondered why Dr Feller does not do the temporal points along with the hairline, most clinics cover the temples along with the hairline. Dr Feller gave me a good hairline but my temples are lacking.
  15. I assume you are talking about Dr Madhu in Hyderabad. He is recommended on this forum and you can go ahead and have the procedure with him. He is doing good work and producing good results. At this point there are no good doctors in Dubai yet.
  16. beautiful corrective work. It's a good thing there are top docs like Dr Hasson to help repair shoddy work done by butchers who call themselves HT surgeons.
  17. If I had to pic a doc for fue my top two choices would be Dr Feller and Dr Ron Shapiro
  18. For me all the discomfort was about 10-12 days after the procedure. This was mainly because of the staples in the back of my head causing discomfort during sleep. Once they were out no problems. You should be back to normal in about 3 weeks after the procedure.
  19. I'm sorry, but frankly the work I have seen from Dr Venkat has been quite poor. I would advise you to wait and go meet Dr madhu when possible. This is a long term decision so don't be in a hurry. Because a bad hair transplant is much worse than not having a hair transplant.
  20. Dr Hasson has been producing amazing results consistently, so I would just trust his judgement. When the hair fully grows out you are going to have an awesome head of hair.!
  21. Well there is no good surgeon in bangalore, however, you could try Dr Madhu in Hyderabad, he is recommended on this forum and is producing good results.
  22. I agree, If you are headed to a NW 6-7 then you will have only a limited donor area available and can't afford to waste your donor hair. So only consider the best coalition doctors. Some doctors I would look at are H&W, Feller , Shapiro , Rahal and Arocha.
  23. This is a weird story! Anyway, stay off any further medication, self medicating will only cause more problems!
  24. I live in MA, but went to Dr Feller in New York. Why? because he is recommended on this forum and has a proven track record. I suggest you stick with Doctors who are recommended here if you want the best results and don't let cost or distance influence you, this is a long term commitment.
