It looks like a case where the problem is with the patient’s genetics and healing characteristics. I don’t understand why some are so quick to blame the doctor. Stay away from Ketoconazole.
-
I was not taking vitamin D while on Finasteride, which I took every 4 or 5 days. I have used Vitamin D since stopping Finasteride and it does make me itch.
-
Did he show you any legit proof it works?

"There are plenty of doctors who have guarantees, a history of following through on them and ethical post-op actions with free touch ups and refunds in more serious cases."" I doubt there is any doctor that will guarantee the success of a hair transplant in writing. You could have two patients that go to the same doctor for a HT, a competent doctor, everything Is the same, but the results vary. A doctor can't guarantee how an individual patient's physiology will react to a transplant and the level of success that will be achieved.

A month or so. I put anti- ich cream on it to help.
-
I had a rash on my back from it, had to stop taking it.
-
Could a two layer closure been done to this patient's donor areas?
-
I looked at your 10 month pictures. Your hairline and overall transplant looks good. I don't know your age, but you should not have another hair transplant for quite some time.
-
I hope you have the good sense to stop using Nizoral completely.
-
I doubt Ketoconazole is doing anything to help you. Aside from taking finasteride internally, you might consider trying it in a topical formulation, if you can get it.

I'll let Dr. Feller answer the question, as he made the representation.
I am also wondering how he came up with "25% sacrifice of grafts during FUE is a more likely optimistic figure."
-
I am wondering what set of data Dr. Feller is using when he writes "Indeed, FUE causes 13 times the amount of vascular trauma," as compared to FUT surgery. How did you deduce that FUE causes 13 times the amount of trauma as opposed to say 2X or 5X or 9X, etc. Is it based on information in a peer reviewed medical journal?

HG, how long after you took the meds did you pass out?

Hairguy350, Did you tell Dr. Umar you were diagnosed with two mental disorders? If so, why did you tell him that info. if you felt it had nothing to do with your transplant situation?
-
It appears to be the explanation for why Hairguy didn't wait for his result. I don't see how you can judge the result of a transplant until it has grown out.
-
A 5 cm forehead, I would like to see some pictures of this and the gruesome result.
-
I had a bht procedure with Dr. Umar a couple of months ago. I have nothing but great things to say about the way I was treated, and the care that Dr. Umar took in removing the grafts and placing them.

Jessie1,
You ought to retract all of your comments against Dr. Feller, ask him to drop the lawsuit and move on with your life. Count this as a learning experience. If you go on a public website and make statements that are arguably false, there can be very expensive consequences when the recipient of the statements pushes back.

Are you using Propecia? If not, you should be on it and make every effort to save what you have.
-
That's a fairly dramatic improvement.

Dr. Wong said a transplant would be a bad idea because your strip scar would be visible. Why couldn't you transplant some grafts on top to give you a little more thickness via FUE, where the scar would not be visible. Start with a very small session and see how it turns out.

Some kind of moisturizing shampoo. Nizoral will irritate your scalp and make it red, especially if you use it frequently.
-
I'd stop using the Nizoral for a while. It's too strong for use on a new transplant.
Permanent shock loss at 3 years. Any options?

The things you mentioned were probably disclosed to the patient in writing by way of a consent form that disclosed the risks of poor healing, of scarring, of the risk of shock loss, etc. It is not possible for a doctor to foresee exactly how a transplant will turn out because there are variables beyond the physician's control, just as a doctor that performs a kidney transplant or chemo therapy, cannot guarantee that it will be successful. What did the doctor do in this case that caused damage to the patient's donor, it appears the donor scar is quite good, so the answer is he is probably blameless.
