  1. Is oral minox helping to keep what you have or growing new follicles?
  2. I use it and I think it works. I apply it after I come home from work so it's absorbed by the time I go to bed. I apply it most days but not every day.
  3. If you're already using oral finasteride, why do you want to add topical finasteride?
  4. I am probably going to buy a laser cap. I wonder if you doubled the daily time under the cap, if you would see any additional benefit.
  5. Interesting, my understanding was that oral finasteride helped to reduce shock loss. I would like to know the reason why the clinic wants you to stop one week before.
  6. I am also using the topical Finasteride by Xyon. I have been using it since last week. I apply it every day after I come home from work, so it has several hours to absorb and dry. So far, I have not felt any side effects. I have used oral Finasteride, which caused a rash and annoying itch to the point I had to stop.
  7. I am starting the topical finasteride that Dr. Hasson sells which has some of delivery mechanism that limits the side effects. You might consider this product.
  8. No, Dutasteride has too many negative long term side effects. Try Finasteride first and see how it works for you.
  9. I think your hair is fine and a transplant is not needed. You have the risk of shock loss to consider.
  10. In addition to what's been said, do not rush into surgery. Find out who the top doctors are and try to have at least 4 or 5 consults before making a decision. Spend the extra money to have the best of the best perform a HT surgery.
  11. Morr F is the one, or you can order it from some HT doctors that have a compounding pharmacy make it.
  12. They should sell a topical version that contains only finasteride. Minoxidil lowers your blood pressure, so it's something to be cognizant of. Headaches are often caused by high blood pressure, so your headache is probably not due to the topical, but then again I am not a cardiologist.
  13. I just received my package of Morr F topical. It's 5% minoxidil and .1% finasteride. It comes with a sprayer and a dropper. I would prefer that it not have any minoxidil in it.
  14. No, it won't impact your transplant, but you must disclose to your transplant doctor that you're taking an antibiotic.
  15. Why take a chance? Although it's more expensive go back on Propecia or split up Proscar pills and see what happens.
  16. If it's like most acne meds, it's a topical cream. I doubt that there would be any powder you could buy to mix with minox.
  17. I would be surprised if it was as cheap as $100 a month. New topical medications for acne are quite expensive, around $500 a month.
  18. I ordered the Morr f version from ebay and will try it out. I am skeptical that it's the real thing as it says it comes from India, but hope it works.
