  1. I have had the ends of a few hairs take pretty weird turns in the opposite direction from the past or normal.
  2. I wish you the best of luck. I hope all of your 4103 grafts grow long and strong!
  3. Dr Feller, I did not realize that. Thanks for the clarification. Is this the same instrument you posted about recently?
  4. Dr Feller, Thank you so much for posting that video. I was very curious. In the future if you can post pictures from a patient that had a HT with your tool that would be fantastic. Thanks in advance.
  5. I have read donor areas are the most red around 6 weeks so I would wait before coming to any conclusions regarding the redness yet. Is the area numb or sensitive? Some people stay numb for several months. I have read that thousands of nerves are cut and it takes them time to come back. 6 weeks in general is pretty early in the process. I hope things improve for you. Welcome to the board.
  6. You make a really good point. Many people on these boards have researched MPB a lot more than the general public. I did feel bad for that guy at the party. I'm glad to see he is feeling better about things.
  7. Hey Abe, Dr Rahals post op instructions does include Rogaine. Clint you are looking good. Does your hair stand up naturally? I wish you the best of luck!
  8. I totally understand your concerns. Shock loss can be very scary. Try to keep in mind hair doesnt grow very fast and their are dormant times. Is it possible the hair in your donor area went in to a dormant stage which I read takes 3-4 months to get out of?
  9. Thanks aWidowPeek. I appreciate that. I plan to activate my blog again after a full 12 months has passed on my HT.
  10. I have not met Dr Shapiro but I will say Janna and Jason (who both work for him) have been helpful to many people by answering their questions on this board. Good luck with everything!
  11. I dont know of a youtube copy but if I see one I will let you know. I hope you are doing well.
  12. You might be able to catch it on MTV.com I watch some shows on there
  13. I thought it was pretty accurate. 1 guys mom took him to an herbal doctor that thought it was related to foot fungus and would be cured by eating organic foods. Obviously that was probably not going to work. Another sweet girl had alopecia and would wear wigs while taking cortisone shots in her balding areas. She lost her hair in around 2 weeks. The 3rd person was 25 and when asked his age at a party he said 25. The women didnt believe him and it was pretty awkward. He is the one that went in for the HT. I do not think he researched the HT much at all before getting it. MTV shows these things a lot. I think the next time it shows will be 9pm eastern time 8pm central time tonight.
  14. That is a really nice offer to make. I hope your HT works out great!
  15. 1 of the people was 25 and hated that he looked 40. Those were his words not mine. He got a HT from Dr Rose in Florida.

  17. Hey MGEM, Best of luck with your HT!!! Did you go strip or FUE? How many grafts?
  18. These aren't the best of pics, but you can see here my before and 3 day post op. Then, if you want do a search on Dr. Cooley 2500 grafts and check out my latest album and see the one year. http://hair-restoration-info.c...481012793#9481012793 Dwayne thanks for the pictures. I have heard of people tweezing them out and lasering them out but I never saw them removed like that before.
  19. 5300 grafts is huge. I like that you have improvements in your crown as well. Dr Hanson has a great reputation. Congrats on the weight loss as well.
  20. Thanks Janna, Actually it is not tough for me to wait another 2 months to evaluate. I'm a pretty patient guy. I do prefer the short hair look as well so if the gaps would fill in I would keep it short for sure. I would prefer not to have to keep my hair longer to cover up gaps.
  21. Guys I was not trying to make an issue out of my current situation. I actually purposefully did not make a new thread publicly regarding it but aWidowsPeek noticed the picture on my blog and bumped this thread asking me about it so I figured I should answer his question.
  22. thanatopsis_awry, I appreciate your kind words and information on hair products. If you saw me up close with my hair short I think you might think differently than the low light picture. If there were no gaps I would not feel bald and when my hair is longer I may not feel bald. With the gaps in person it is noticeable with my hair short so it is a concern of mine. I did not post any pics in my bathroom light because I felt that made it look worse than it is but the low light kind of picture makes it look better. I'm finding lighting and length of hair make a difference in pictures.
  23. Bill, Thanks for the well wishes. I only heard back from Adrian but he said they reviewed my pictures. While the larger gaps are mostly on that one side there are smaller gaps on the other side as well. Adrian said it was best to wait to at least 12 months post to get a fair idea of maximum growth and density ??“ we can then evaluate at that time. Some people do not see what I see because the picture was in overcast light through a window. Looking in the bathroom mirror light it is more noticeable and a concern for me unfortunately.
