  1. Bill, keep you HT on!!!! The more i read what you have said the more it annoys me. I find the fact that you replied to this thread in such a way as being incredibly unprofessional and immature. Does not say much for you as an individual or the fact you are the Forum Moderator. You are actually coming across like a bit of a bully. If the two of us were chatting in a real room i'm sure your reply would have been much more understanding, trust me! A word of warning to all of you, dont do something that pisses Bill off or he'll turn the whole community against you. Think i'll leave this dictatorship ... PEACE!!
  2. Bill, i think you need to take your own advice and take a chill pill. I can only apologise that i haven't spent lots of time working out where to post my threads.
  3. I just posted a thread syaing how pleased i was about my results and it was removed. I've had a previous thread removed about where to buy minoxidil. Surely the purpose of this site is that members can chat freely??

  5. Thought i'd post a positive thread for a change since i've spent the last 3 months freaking out about every aspect of my HT. Firstly, a big thanks to all that posted replies to my threads on the shockloss i had. The information you gave was accurate and very supportive which helped me through. I had 2900 grafts approx via strip with Dr Feller in March 09 and was really nervous about the whole thing as my first HT by Dr Armani wasn't what i'd hoped it be to say the least. Just posted a reply on the thread 'Dr Alvi Armani??why is he not recommended on this site?' which would fill you in on the details. I'm already experiencing early growth which i'm sure you can all imagine is a great feeling. The scar has healed up nicely and all the shockloss i had is just about gone. I know i've got a long way to go, which is great in terms of the results i may acheive, but i wanted to let anyone who is suffering socially and mentally from losing their hair that there are Dr's and clinics that can genuinely help. Anyways, still at work so have to go. Cheers.

  7. I'm a victim. Dont believe what you see on his web-site is what you'll get, trust me!!! I had a procedure in Oct 07 and i'm positive i didn't get as many grafts as agreed, plus the result was nothing short of terrible. I was meant to have my procedure on a day that turned out to be a Candadian Bank Holiday and i turned up at the clinic and it was closed. I had travelled all the way from the UK!!! I was 'fitted' in the next day and the whole experience was horrible. There is no personal touch to what he does and i honestly believe its money first. I contacted the surgery to let them know i wasn't happy with the results and i got NOWHERE. I had my procedure on the same day as another guy from the UK who i have kept in-touch with. He too did not acheive a good result. Coincidence, i think not!! I had a second HT in March 09 with Dr Feller and the difference was night and day. Dr Feller is genuinely interested in you as a patient and what your going through regarding losing your hair. I fully believe he is results driven and of course he'll tell you himself the money is good but its not what he's all about. I'm 3 months and nine days post-op and you can't see the scar with my hair at grade 4 and i'm experiencing early growth. By the way, when i went to Dr Armani for my first HT i was told he was no longer offering the FUT and it was all FUE, which granted is his choice but for the customer makes the whole thing much more expensive .... All about the money. Everything i have written is FACT.
  8. Why is it that the majority of my shed hairs had a very clear kink at the bottom with a black bulb and some didn't?? I'm not too concerned as things seem to be going to plan but i just wondered if anyone knew a reason for this??
  9. Thanks for the reply hairthere. I keep thinking about the fact the majority of the shed hairs i had were kinked with a black dot at the bottom and if this was a sign that it wasn't taking. I've read other posts with members saying they had the same experience but then they said it was only a few grafts that were like that.
  10. Thats me just a week short of being three months post-op. The shockloss i had in the recipient area and donor area has been recovering very steadily which i'm relieved about but i haven't seen anything in the way of new re-growth. I was reading that by the third month in most patients the hair will sprout and begin to grow so i'm getting a little concerned. I've been using minox 5% for the last two months and it helped with recovering the shockloss and i'm also taking finasteride. I was really down for the first eight weeks post-op but i feel a lot better now and it would be great to see some new hairs coming through.
