Dear Sir, I had my surgery 1st week of April 2009 at a Clinic refer by someone. I regret that I did not know your resourceful site earlier.Your site is really helpfull but a bit late for me.
Anyway below are my question. Hope that you can give me some advice.
1)One month past and the doner site still red and sensitive with stitch mark. Doc insist that there is no infection and prescribe Diplosalic Lotion (To apply 2x daily) Its been two weeks now and not much improvement. Any advice?
2)Initial consultaion was told follicular transplant by strip removal. On actual surgery after strip removal and admistration of anesthesia , Doc said too much bald spot to cover, punch is a better solution for me using 1 & 1.5mm punches on bald area (Crown area)It will remove bald spots and create density. Only first 4 rows of hairline using 1-2 hair slits.
Result (Below are the statistic as told by the technician)
1.5 158 (6-8 Hairs)
1 223 (4-6 Hairs)
5 563 (1-2 Hairs)
Total 3000+ hair and this is a mega session!
(What is the true meaning of the above statistic?)
Also the scalp at the graft site (crown area) looks uneven and undulating. Will it go away given time? Will I get cobblestone effect later on? Am I in disaster right now?
Honestly I am more concern about my recovery rather than result right now.
It is even bizzare that they tell me I should have a second procedure in the middle of June for my vertex area!
I will consult Dr. Damkerg Pathomvanich recommended by you later on in Thailand for my second procedure or repair as I will be in asia next year.
I fully recommend your site to anyone who are thinking of hair transplant.
My advice to others is buyer beware!
thank you
