    Thana, If the truth (good or bad) for one doctor can not be discussed than how can we trust that anything else posted regarding that doctor is the truth? I feel all the forbidden topics already hurt one board dramatically. I really do not think we should follow that path. I'm not one of those posters that likes fighting nor flame wars but I do value the truth greatly. I think hiding the truth (good or bad) can lead to many really disappointed patients who feel misled and cheated. "The truth shall set you free" is a pretty good saying.

    The contract you speak of wantego was a copy of my private contractor's contract specifically written for my position. The document included details of my professional duties. It requires me to wear a suit for any in person meetings / consultations with clients, that I participate in the online forums and that I have an assigned Alvi Armani email. I am not sure why it was posted online. Pats I never saw the contract so I can not personally say what it said but I will say that is dramatically different than how it was described to me.

    Pat, I'm not sure that is a guarantee of why a company stays in business. Bosley medical has been in business for 30 plus years.

    Why would he not be able to answer that question? Since that was a huge issue on this board with page after page of comments I think it really should be addressed. A good start would be either yes the contract does exist or no the contract does not exist. One of the people that said they had seen this contract is a very well known poster on this board.

    More than 1 person on this board has said they have seen a compensation contract by the doctor you represent for posting or blogs. 1. Will that be addressed? 2. Does it exist? 3. Were the people that have said they have seen it being factual when they stated posters that signed it but then did not post positively could be sued for huge amounts of money? 4. If it exists do you feel it is honest and above board to have posters compensated for stating positive things without disclosing that they are being compensated?

    I'm sorry about you having to battle cancer. My step dad has it as well. The good thing about moving your post to the other forum is many doctors read it and could help answer you especially if you have pictures.

    I dont see a picture so I cant say what to do. If you are really almost completely bald at 24 I dont know if a HT or propecia is the answer. Have you ever tried a clipped or shaved look?     Results look very good. Congrats! I'm a bit confused by 1 thing though. Did you get grafts in the front and back or just the front? The back of your head looks much fuller to me.

    Irish I hope you have a great result!!! Did you ask your doctor about how smoking could effect the results? We had a former poster on here that said smoking can be a bad influence on HT growth.

    growmehair, You are very welcome. I did not really do anything but thanks just the same. I did take my blog down for the time being. I do plan to put it back up sometime in the future.

    Petro thank you so much for the kind words. Its nice to see almost all the posters on here are kind and have manners. Things should get much better for you soon. Those first 3 months are probably the hardest months. I hope you have an amazing result. Did you by any chance see the pictures I posted in the section labeled 5 months hair pulled back? They show my hairline pulled back and my hair brushed back as well. Thanks again and I hope things go great for you!!!!!

    Thanks a bunch Eman and Headinahole. The shed happened in the last 2 weeks or so. My latest pictures with the shorter hair came after the shed. I did email the doctor. He said shedding is temporary. I'm just going to try to avoid looking in mirrors for a while and not stress out over it. Thanks for taking an interest.

    I think people have different time lines in regard to scabs. My paperwork said 3 weeks for the scabs to fall off but I have seen many people have some scabs remaining at 4-5 weeks.

    Since it is now over 3 inches long it sounds like either it grew back on its own or that steroid shot worked.

    I really appreciate you letting me know how things went for you. It sounds like you feel it was rogaine related. Did you use rogaine again after your ht? I never heard of that kind of steroid shot before. Did you get new hair transplanted in that area after the shot or just had the shot alone?

    GQ, thanks for the reply. I was not referring to the area on the side you think looks like possible shock loss. It could be shock loss or have another explanation. I really do not know what that is from. The shed I'm referring to is some thinning that has taken place in the last 2-3 weeks on top. Thanks for addressing the shedding after HT's.

    Maxxy, Thanks for the reply. I'm glad most your hair has returned. That must have been pretty scary for you. How many months were you on the foam when your shed occurred? Yes I have been using rogaine foam. My doctor recommends using it from the 2 week mark for the first 12 months following a HT.

    Good luck with your HT. Does your doctor suggest you use rogaine? If your doctor suggest you use it and you want to use it you can get 4 canisters of the foam at costco for around $49. 3 canisters at Walsmart is around $39. The non foam is even cheaper.

    Buba, The new hairline looks impressive to me. I think the scar will become less and less a factor as time goes on. I'm looking forward to seeing your 4-8 month results., LOL I bet you are as well!

    5083 grafts? Wow that is a megasession for sure. Do you know how many hairs that amounted to? What is your age? I hope you have an amazing result!!!!

    Thank you. I was expecting a shed when I started rogaine but not after 6 months. I hope that is what happened and it all does come back as you said. I appreciate your replies.
