Jotronic, Well stated. I wanted to add my 2 cents but you summed up essentially what I was going to say. I took a little heat on a thread of a patient of Dr. Alexanders. The guy had great work done as typical of the good doc, but there was something that took away from it being a 10. It was the lack of temple points. I personally believe that this is too often overlooked. I looked at Kevin James and knew immediately that he had a HT. Does this mean the work is inferior? I guess that is up for debate. It certainly is not subpar work but nonetheless if it is evident by a guy sitting 12 feet from the tube it is not perfect by any means.

Nobuzz, How awesome. A very natural look indeed. I am happy for you to finally get rid of the nasty plugs. Things look great wet and I am sure that dry it looks even better in terms of density. Just a matter of a few more months and it should make for a hell of a difference.

I am aware of both docs. In my opinion neither are doing first rate work. From what I have seen of both of their stuff, they are not as refined as they should be. It is possible that it was just the work that I was privy too but nonetheless it was a little on the rough side. Make sure you do a search and see for yourself. You are close enough to Dr. Rahal in Ottawa and I would definitely be going there. At this point don't even consider anyone else in Ontario.

B, Thanks for the comparison photos. I have been curious as to how things have been coming along for you. There is no doubt that you have come a long way. I appreciate the pics with the longer hair because in my opinion it gives a better indicator of the drastic change. With the short hair it is very challenging to decipher how much of a change has actually taken place. I understand that it is difficult with the characteristics that you have to get true density. Dr. Ron has certainly given you a very soft and natural hairline. I like your plan of addressing the frontal and mid areas if you are to have another HT. I will admit though that I am a little concerned for you to have more work given that there is some recession on the nape and already having a wider than preferred scar. Possibly waiting until you are older and reassessing is a wise decision? What does Dr. Shapiro have to say about things? I agree with Nobuzz that growing hair longer and combing straight back would be another option for filling in the crown. Either way, I am happy for you that you are heading towards your goals and are looking good. Take care

There are many DO's in the US that are top notch surgeons and the title of MD does not at all guarantee anything. Surprising for such an educated individual you can be so naiive.

The Edge from U2 had a horrible HT. I have seen a couple of photos of it and it is a wall of dense plugs. Poor bastard--sort of--likely still gets more pussy than Tony the Tiger. Now he is essentially never seen without a hat.

I am not going to go as far as to say that I don't think that it looks natural but it does certainly give him a unique look. I would have to say that if there were no before photos we wouldn't question it much. He certainly has had work done and I would have to guess that it was Armani but if not and it is a Coalition physician, shame on you. I would have to think that a less square look would have been more appropriate.

Pilo, Possibly she got the name wrong--it should be Ron Shapiro in Minneapolis. Why come on here if you don't want to listen to us? Trust me, Ron Shapiro, Hasson and Wong in Vancouver, Dr. Rahal in Ottawa, Dr. Feller in New York, Dr. Alexander in Phoenix. There are others but go with a sure thing.

With your characteristics you will be solid after an average size session. It might be a good idea as stated, for you to cut hair very short to reveal full scope of thinning areas since the curly hair might hide actual situation.

Possibly when Dr. Armani actually shows several cases where the yield is 98% or greater and you are not having to transplant 5000 grafts for a 3000fu job.

I personally would lean towards Dr. Ron Shapiro, Dr. Keene or Dr. Rahal if your primary goal is the best possible hairline. All others in your list are exceptional physicians also and it is a matter of who you jive with best. Keep in mind that although it is great to research you also need to have somewhat of a short list so that it doesn't cause too much confusion and angst.

Matt from SMG (with soulpatch) and Shane from Rahal's(bleached look) will give you a good run for your money Joe for front cover. We could make it like a Project runway thing. Not sure that Bspot would fare too well though--too much of a Chicago crimeboss thing going on. Who knows about Spex--possibly a photo with his twins might catch the eye of the softhearted ones.

I personally didn't like the hairline design. Was it performed by Alvi himself or an associate? It was very straight and just didn't look right.
