  1. I have heard of a few cases but it was with larger punch grafts.
  2. How about a NG2GB section? It could be filled with stories of Jessica, strippers, drinking, partying,.....
  3. As far as I know there is no way that you would be able to really tell anything after about 2 weeks other than have little growth. In the first few days you would see the hair with a lot of tissue and blood. After that it just won't grow once it has fallen out.
  4. Scooby, Glad that we could help. You have chosen an excellent surgeon. In my opinion he is one that is doing work as good as Armani and capable of some seriously dense and natural hairlines. Both of you guys will be happy with everything.
  5. You look great and I am super happy for you. Thanks for the posting to let others know that it can be done.
  6. I believe that we should have a contest where we get to spend an all inclusive night out with NG2GB during one of his partying antics. Can you imagine the carnage?
  7. I understand. It does get a little old with the same old questions. Please stick to the hotties though will ya? Any more good stripper experiences? We'll go for those too. I guess I shouldn't encourage you.
  8. Kevkristy, It is a game of mine to sometimes guess that doc that did the work and I am almost certain I know the surgeon you saw. I would have to think that you are just a slow grower and likely will start to see a lot more at the 8 month mark. I can understand you concern though. Hopefully your doc will stand by their work should their be any yield concerns.
  9. NG2GB, I'm sure that Bill is referring to your other thread and the manboobs. Even I had to avoid that as it had poisoned my mind and have not slept since witnessing it. You are one hell of a messed up SOB, but I guess we all knew that.
  10. Excellent stuff. A world class surgeon that provides some of the cleanest and most dense hairlines in the coalition. This will definitely provide you with the look that you are after and eliminate those nasty old mini/macros. Good healing to you bud.
  11. NG2GB, When did you visit Jannas place and get the Hasselhoff photo from her bedroom wall?
  12. NW5a, I think that things are great for you. I believe that your immediate post-op results are some of the most refined that I have seen. I believe that that is part of the reason you have such awesome results. Thanks for keeping us well informed.
  13. Bill you did a stand up job so no worries. Possibly a full time gig is in your future.
  14. Dr. Lindsey, I wondered about your response on this thread. For a physician to do 300 HT's in 12 years is really not demonstrating a lot of experience in my opinion. Here you state 300, but on your website you mention that you have over 1000 satisfied patients? Not to put you on the spot, but this sites main purpose is for public accountability of physicians. Welcome to the forum.
  15. Bill, I choose not to get into a long drawn out debate over this topic once again. I voiced my opinion as I wanted and I feel its the right thing. Couple of points: 1. Aside from Thana the other members with raving reviews have a total of 252 posts. Now readily I'll admit that all that states is that they are not a loser like myself with no apparent life, but very likely not overly educated about the HT process. 2. Yes I have posted elsewhere about good results/great results of Dr. Lindsey. I have never deleted them. That's all it was--a statement about the pics presented. It did not state that I think that he has shown any consistency. 3. I infact even told one member to check him out. Again that is not giving my recommendation, but nothing more than a statement that he likely won't get butchered going there. The poster was from the same area so why not do a consult. 4. My arguements are not about Dr. Lindsey per say, but about this entire process of recommending docs. If you look at past threads it is always a concern of mine and some others. Hell, its why we lost Cousinit. 5. You state that there are several docs that you don't recommend but it is only done privately. Please make it public as it might add some legitimacy to this whole process. This is my last post on the topic. You know my opinion.
  16. Bill, This post was at 9:16 and your very next post at 9:24 indicates that he is already recommended? We have been down this road several times. In all truth the members have absolutely no say in recommendations. That's OK, it's Pat's site. But why continually ask members opinions??
  17. In all fairness to any future doctor being possibly recommended on this forum, I will openly admit that my stance has always been to limit to the truly elite. I believe what is truly best for the patients is to provide a list of those that are at the top of the profession and lets face it, there are going to be some that are just hands down more talented than others. It happens in any profession. I understand the premise is to help those that are unable or unwilling to travel and I can appreciate that. In good faith however, I can only support those that are truly elite or have demonstrated superior skills on a consistent basis. Any time you add more to the list of recommended surgeons you are watering the field of talent in my opinion. There could possibly be the arguement that by increasing the list, will only force those at the top of their game to continue to strive for further excellence. Either way, I personally don't believe in recommending someone that has only shown a handful of their work. Consistency is what we need. We also all know that photos can be very deceiving and it would be nice to hear from more patients. Well....Hmmm... Just saw above post indicating that he is now recommended. Why do I waste the time??
  18. It came with the invite for esteemed members to attend the annual baldies big bash. Maybe yours is in the mail.
  19. I have tried to avoid these threads lately, but I feel compelled to give my 2 cents since e-mails were sent to members requesting input. Here are the requirements for entry to the Coalition: *Demonstrated capability to successfully perform large sessions of ultra refined follicular unit grafting using tiny incisions and grafts that are microscopically prepared. *The ability to dense pack tiny follicular unit grafts in a given area when appropriate. *Mastery and control of the orientation and direction of the transplanted grafts to achieve a completely natural appearance. *Dedication to doing state of the art hair transplantation exclusively or at least as the main specialty of the clinic. *Excellent patient results demonstrating a high level of artistry and naturalness throughout, as well as excellent growth rates. *An excellent reputation of the physician amongst colleagues and former patients. *Several years experience in performing hair restoration surgery. *Extensive medical training, depth of background, board certifications, honors, credentials, lectures, and published articles and books Personally I have only seen one unsolicited posts of patients and nothing prior to him suddently being presented. As far as I know, I have never heard of Dr. Lindsey until mentioned by Dr. Feller. Is there a financial joint venture between the 2 by chance or am I mistaken? Apology if I am wrong, but certainly have not heard other colleagues mention him. It doesn't sound like his priority is performing HT's. He is heading in that direction, but maybe there should be a waiting period until he achieves this? Has he produced any literature, books or texts pertaining to hair transplantation? Keep in mind that I never make any posts to just stir the pot, but am truly looking out for the best interest of the patient.
  20. I have never heard of him therefore I would look elsewhere.(I have heard of all good docs) Check out Dr. Vogel or Lindsay that are in the area. Do not be afraid to travel as this is something you'll have to live with forever.
  21. If you had 15 procedures veteran isn't the word I was going to use.
  22. Unfortunately this is not as refined as it should be. I hope that everything works out OK.
  23. Janna, just knowing I'm in your dreams has made my weekend. Thanks all for the advise. I guess my wife and I talked and we concluded to go to a professional stylist is best. I will just have to get over my paranoia and tell her that I had a HT and to not go too short on the back, but to hook me up with the latest manwhore look.
  24. Gentlemen/ladies, I am currently nearing the 7 month mark and ofcourse am starting to have a few more options for hairstles. My question is this: What is the best way to go about trying out a few different options? Keep in mind: 1.I am a professional that deals with a lot of people daily and have an office staff of all woman whom will likely tease the shit out of me. 2.I am 40 3.My wife has cut my hair due to fear of going to the stylist and them cutting too short to reveal scar. 4.I have had the same lame ass hairdo for years that was strategically planned to hide old work. It was parted and then combed back in front. 5.I want something easy that I can do quickly myself. 6.I still have thin crown and don't want to look like balding guy trying to pull off style that I have no right attempting. Thanks for help. P.S. Janna--I know your response, "Get another 3000fu and it will be simple." Likely I will. Here is link to my situation: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/showthread.php?t=151417
