  1. Its mosty the doctor that makes the difference not the device. If you ask me Neograft and ARTAS are simply worthless because most of the clinics that use these devises operate as beauty salons and dont really know or dont care about how a good hairtransplant should look or be done. The ignorance ans unawareness of plastic surgeons, dermatologists or technisians using these devices is really unbelieveable.
  2. I"m all in for good guality hairtransplant but 40K is outreagous and ridiculous the same time. If you commit to that he will probably plan only your surgery for 1 day and then take vacations for the next two weeks.
  3. YOur donor looks average and you have thin hair. Avoid turkey, most of the clinics there are hairmills. In the uk you can look at doctors like manni mittal, dr raghu reddy and dr ball. But if i was in your shoes i wlould try to maximize the donor area i have and proceed with a strip surgery and not fue. Hattingen hair in switzerland are a great option for fut and i think you should consult with them also.
  4. I dont see where the problem was to add density in the midscalp with some 400 grafts if this was the agreement before the surgery. If you asked about this while being operated and got ignored this sounds like really bad communication and not professional at all.
  5. I think you should wait until the 12 months mark. You new hairs will thicken and if you are a slow grower the chances are goos that you will see more hairs spreading out, right now nobody can tell you for sure. After that if you are not happy with a density a second op to improve density if you are not happy with this, might come in question.
  6. Electrolysis is also another option, but you should really talk with a repair doctor like bisanga about this.
  7. Scalp micropigmentation. This is also ideal if you want to completely shave your head. Be careful though, you need to find a really good smp artist who has experience with smp into scars.
  8. I2m not really sure about that, after only 2500 grafts i believe you still have room for another fut. You should speak with another doctor about this and get more opinions.
  9. YOu had fut but with a small amount of grafts so i must assume that you still have good laxity and you will be able to pull out an fut megasession to correct the scar and fill in the hairline ant midscalp. If you already had an fut imo the best option would be to proceed with another fut but this time with a really good docttor. In your case i would look at doctors like dr Wong from Hasson and wong, Hattingen hair in Switzerland and dr Konior. All three are really good with fut repair cases.
  10. After 3 months your grafts are secure, the problem is you havent seen the final result of your transplant not until 12 months. For ever patient that has had a bad result it comes unfortunately to questioning if something was done wrong from their sight but for the most this is not the case. So to answer your question if you dont have any skin conditions or other health issues that will cause hairloss, for your transplanted and native hair also, your transplanted hair after 3 months should be treated like native hairs.
  11. Never heard of this doctor but i wouldnt be happy either if another doctor contradictory to what was agreed operated on me.
  12. This doesnt mean that you will get keloids or scar streching after your hairtransplant. The skin on your head is alot thicker than on your shoulders and scarring after acne that wasnt treted right or lasted too long is not rare due to inflamation.
  13. There is not much that you can do now to prevent scarring that really work and has such preventing results. Anyways keloid is relative rare, how did you come to this conclusion that you are prone to scarring?
  14. You can use dermmatch to hide the scar. Another option is doing smp into the scar or even fue some grafts into the scar.
  15. Looks more like 1700. What was the name of the other doctor from florida? You should ask who was this other guy that operated on you too.
  16. Basing your decision about the doctor you want to choose for your ht in price range is not really a good idea. Have you considered fut or a combination of fut and fue. This might make it possible to get full coverage in one surgery. Doctors like laorwong, pathomvanich in thailand and hattingen hair in switzerland are good options for this.
  17. I dont see something strange with how your donor looks or heavy schockloss. This is probably colour demarcation of the skin due to anesthetic and it will recover in couple of weeks.
  18. There is no way that you can harm the grafts this way, if this was the case everyone who gets cold showers or goes regularly swimming at the beach would be bald.
  19. Looks really nice. How is the donor area looking?
  20. You have curky hair that provide better coverage but you still have gaprs in the donor are, this should not be the case. Regardless of smp microirregularities and a natural looking hairline is always possible if you do it the right way. A straight line from the one temple to the other is not really good work.
  21. The hairline is way to straight without any microirregularities and you definitely didnt need 3300 grafts to cover this small area considering also the fact that you have curly hair. Te donor area looks in bad shape too. You were right about your assumption that the clinic you went is a hairmill.
  22. This looks like a plug surgery from the 80s, sorry to say that but your friend got botched. Avoid this place and please name the cliinic.
