  1. Hey Michael, yeah buddy Merry Christmas to you also! So you went ahead with it! Ok well congratulations, hope you tend to the grafts well in these early days and very much hope it was a good procedure! If you care to share the experience here I'd be interested in reading it, you sound pretty optimistic so that's good! Cheers!
  2. I definitely get the concern for that center area... but you're seeing hairs that popped early along with areas that at this point may be just surfacing and may be that darn near invisible looking kind of hair that needs to mature.... in the next couple months it'll come a lot clearer. I've seen others with that same concern turn out be 💯 fine.
  3. I saw your HDC thread... it's just tough to tell at this point. Hang in there, you should be just fine. That hair line looks like it's coming in as it should. I get the concern given that post op scab stuff... but if that area was a problem and wiped out grafts it would be far more visible a problem now too. So I suspect you'll be ok.
  4. Yeah by and large this is the case... you have to be at like month 9 to get any real sense of needing a touch up. Lots happening for you over the next few months. Most places will all say wait a full year.
  5. Great man will be following this, I'll also be there prior to you so we'll all be on similar timeliness of progress! It's funny it definitely speaks this the quality of this forum that our short list was very similar.
  6. Thr answer is yes 💯 he did and got a great result.
  7. Very impressive I see them next month! Looks like you're in for a great result!
  8. Yes definitely Bicer and Pekiner were also ones I looked into and felt very positive about. Also HDC clinic as Doron is highlighting... I looked into them too and felt good about them as an option. Their location was just a little more challenging to me.
  9. Have you considered Eugenix? Seems like that might be a great option for you. Also once I've researched Fuecapilar, I like Dr. Gur in that operation personally but both he and Dr. Turan are well regarded.
  10. This is very impressive... nice clean up from a lousy first procedure. What a relief!
  11. Yes neck pillow, button up shirts, umbrella just to be safe... make sure if you need adapter for electrical you have it. Must be exciting as it nears, good luck with it all!
  12. Yeah I remeber your original post too about the procedure, on an island if I recall right. Yeah def could be, no reason to think otherwise. Looks packed for sure. How's it coming along now... any updates on the process post op, shedding etc...
  13. Looks like it's coming along as it should, thanks for sharing the update! Nothing but better by the day going forward!
  14. Yeah no problem getting a hair cut in the donor area... just where the grafts have been placed they typically suggest refraining from fussing with that area.
  15. Unclear on other options so good luck with that... I might be wrong about this but I thought Eugenix had a Mumbai location?
  16. Yeah @Michael D chime in brother, consider making a soild post detailing the experience and thoughts, if you ended up going with it.
  17. Yeah what @NARMAK is saying here is pretty spot on... for 3 months this looks as it should. I get the worry but hang in there, this is all looking very promising.
  18. I'd be inclined to discuss this with him pre-op... I agree he'll be able to see those same angles all short and in the procedure. However if a little grown out, the characteristics are less specific to your concerns, I'd just say that to him. In fact I'd be inclined to jot a few notes about those angles given your concerns and go over them with him. I say notes because sometimes in fact to face with a doc we forget or have one concern addressed and don't ask about the other. Just to totally ensure y'all are on the same page. Looking forward to seeing how all this goes for you!
  19. I'd evaluate how important it is to be home the day of the surgery, at 1500 grafts that's not a lot. say 750 each side. I'm also not sure even conservative that would allow for a nice transition into the sides and have dense needs met. I just saw a person with a similar recession in a Dr. Bicer thread, they had 3370k grafts and in imagining a more conservative version of that I'd still put you at like 2000 or 2500. I'd research more and make sure that 4500 is money well spent and listen it very well may be with this doc you're considering, just laying out concerns here for you to think about. Additionally the thing about techs is they can be amazing, so obviously you want Dr involvement but techs are definitely capable at the right clinics... you really want to evaluate the whole operation and track record of results. Something to keep in mind if you start looking past this particular doc.
  20. You chose a perfect time to have it done... now by spring you'll be well on your way!
  21. Looks like thinning possibly, a hair doc or derm will def be able to confirm and help sort it out... likely greatly aided by a med like Fin.
  22. Follow pre op rules... nutrition and hydrate well the week before. Otherwise relax and enjoy the journey and plan for the seven to ten days post op. Try to think about sleeping and button up shirts and taking it easy... those initial days post op are important in not disturbing the grafts. So make sure you have those plans and needs all set.
  23. Great detailed reply! Wow I didn't even think of the subscription idea, clever move!
