  1. Most impressive, and great amount of care and time was spent. Solid results, Look forward to seeing more updates!
  2. Definitely looks good, and yeah that itchiness and flaky stuff is totally normal.
  3. What a great thread GE.. I have reached out to Eugenix. I did so via their website, I'm wondering your first contact with them... did you call or click the book an appt and fill out that form? I ask becuase it's been a couple days since i did and I'm supposing their busy but wondering best way to make that initial contact in case my message fell through cracks. I've asked about flying post op before here and consensus is it's no problem, Like you I'm US east coast so it'll be quite the travel day back for me. I know, be careful when flying but feel like you made a smart call that I may make too... stay an extra couple days at the hotel just laying low. I still worry some about flying a little though but can't swing staying there 7 days (I feel like 7 days is the marker of grafts taking) So think if I stay 2 extra days that'll provide me roughly 72ish hours out from HT. Any additional thoughts on this or your experience on that flight back? Your initial results look great so far, I'm also looking to book with Dr Das... your experience and others here seem to be excellent. Looking forward to seeing more updates!
  4. Again, looks pretty good for 6 months compared with prior's. Some folks super robust at 6 months and others less so, you're somewhere in the middle. Let's hope there is lots just popping and coming in.
  5. Honestly, I'd hold out and wait some, that doesn't look bad for six months. Be curious to see the before and after pics. 6 to 9 months often boosts results like this into great results. I guess if it doesn't turn out great, that is a a tough question. Trouble with same doc or go elsewhere. I've read this doc is solid, so that makes it seem like well yeah take him up on the retouch, but I get being hesitant.
  6. Depends on size of HT . If you wear your hair currently longer and you're shaving it down for the procedure, I'd suggest wearing it super short around before hand so casual encounters and folks you see and know can have that oh you got a hair cut thing out of the way. And after a week I imagine you're fine... you'll be aware of of it but most folks won't stare or even register unless you draw attention to it. The redness should simmer pretty quickly, but I'd certainly give yourself a few days of laying low.
  7. I've reached out to Eugenix about a consult. Pretty hard to deny the results and value there. For me it's going to be about 1000 grafts, hairline and one side above the temple area. Frankly 1000 is a little on the high side but figure to account for that and if less needed fine. It's a bit of fix from a previous HT that wasn't as excellent as it could have been, not a repair though. Exclusive package is what I'm eyeing with Dr. Das. I'd be travelling from the US. I've combed through the search function here and read plenty of those posts. Seen Melvin's experience video, read the favorable things and have seen the many other cases documented. Very helpful and if any of y'all who have contributed to those threads happen upon this, many thanks. If anybody has any particular insight into travel from the US or anything about Eugenix not already covered here in the many threads of Eugenix I'd appreciate it. I'll start up a proper thread once this is all in motion. Thanks again.
  8. So I'd say no you're fine... those first seven days are the most nerve wracking, so I get it. But this looks fine to me. How are you doing now two weeks out? Also which day of the initial 7 days did you do this or did you mean you did this on the 7th day? Just curious, but still from the looks of it you're fine.
  9. I used the search function and keyed in Eugenix Arika in my research... lots of cases with photos and experience in the results. Appears to be excellent work!
  10. Another vote for Dr Mwamba, in my research it appears he achieves excellent results.
  11. It's looking nice and on schedule... looks about right to me. A little tough with that angle to assess hairline and everything, but looking good I'd say.
  12. Great insight, thanks Happyman. Appreciated.
  13. Considering flying for a procedure. Relatively small procedure so done in a day... then I was thinking of staying 3 or 4 days at the hotel post HT. Is this overkill, unnecessary? Ideally I'd like to be getting back home sooner than later but it's a long flight and I'm thinking safest to eliminate danger variables in those first days. Any other traveler HT folks with insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
  14. Question about that flight the day after... any concern about flying so soon after a transplant. I'm considering flying and trying to gauge what is right in that regard. Also 100% on suggestions here... just lay low and rest, don't do the tourism thing, just rest and let that initial healing get underway.
  15. I'm on FIN 1mg... no side effects (thankfully). Maybe consult with doc and give it another go... and see if that side effect is still there. If that persists I say no. Donor area looks good so you may be wise to hold off and see where you land with loss and then as you suggest have a full proper HT.
