  1. Looks great, fantastic result. Frames the face greatly and looks so natural!
  2. Blane... the risk isn't worth it. I get it, the airport and the possible looks but hey man, it's one day... most people are so wrapped up in their own deal anyway. Think if you saw somebody looking like you, you'd likely go huh and continue on about your day if you thought much of it at all. Also security check point on and off with the hat... just seems dicey even if the doc says fine as long as you don't disturb the grafts. You won't want some area in your hair to be compromised in 7 months because of one day at the airport where you had a mishap with a hat.
  3. Tough situtaion but I am hopeful for you Oxiborick, I think the next steps are research and get with a solid surgeo/ clinic and explore your options. Rough road right now but it'll get better and you'll get it sorted. Hang in there bud.
  4. Yeah you def don't want to risk anything... check with your Doc but I'd say wait at least a couple weeks. Don't do anything to jeopardize these initial post op days. You'll thank yourself later.
  5. Looking forward to see the results here, keep updating. I'm also researching Dr. Camacho. I watched the youtube podcast with Melvin and have looked at his results, most impressive.
  6. Additionally, to the great first reply, do your homework. Use this thread and comb through all the potential doctor's results... read the good and bad reviews, evaluate your situation and make as much an informed choice as you can. This forum is great, and folks will chime into answer and give insight as you narrow things down.
  7. As far as I've read and experienced, you'd be totally fine a month out. Grafts anchored and slits healed. The compression aspect shouldn't matter either way at one month, but let's hope another HT surfer can give advice. Have you tried consulting with the surgeon and getting the all clear from them?
  8. Had to use the search function to determine what MGK meant 😅
  9. Giving it a look and your concern Narmak... I'm thinking you're gonna be ok. I see it too, but at this point I'd not "worry" if you're inclined to be the worrying type. This still reads like all is well and like it's gonna be a home run.
  10. Also at least on my browser there is on all pages including this one in the right corner up top, a yellow/marmalade colored tab you can click on.
  11. Nice update, looking like all is as it should be. Glad the travel went well!
  12. Looks great, this is gonna be a homerun from the looks of it!
  13. Definitely more dense post op for sure, that's a positive sign and speaks more to the total graft count. Yeah you know i've wondered the same thing about graft survival with sub par docs, hard to know, I'm sure some of the folks here with more experience will have some insight.
  14. Man I feel for you, best advice is to go ahead and take a stand with this. If you think a refund is possible go get it. That's doubtful but if possible get it. Then plan for an actual proper HT by using this forum and combing through results and options that exist here. Great folks on this forum and you'll be helped in the process of researching. I think naming the clinic is a must, think of it like this... if were you happy with results so far, you'd likely no issue with naming them. It's an issue because of these results. That has nothing to do with you, this is the clinics deal and you'd potentially be helping and doing a solid to many folks researching this procedure by giving them yet another result to consider.
  15. Oh man Happyman dropped the hammer on this surgeon. I hope for you Nitrohuck, this is somewhat salvageable... after this time and investment it's a major drag to feel as you might be feeling right now. The photos don't reflect well nor does this doc's reputation. That said the result may be ok, it's still early as they say. It doesn't look like that amount of grafts but the blond hair might be not as obvious in photos. So hang in there, even lousy surgeons achieve decent results sometimes. I'd plan for a plan B if i were you, comb the surgeons and results on here and keep an open mind to travel if this doesn't fare well.
  16. They'll be able to from the looks of it also grab some beard hair... regarding design and some people here might be able to illuminate more, but some design blend into sides might also be something to look at in these planning stages. frames the face nicely and can be overlooked but just thinking about up top. Not exactly creating temporal peaks or anything but having that transition there in design. It may already be but form the one design shot included here I'm not seeing it. Eugenix would be a great choice and their suggestion of grafts is likely as it oughta be. They're probably evaulating the rest of the hair and density and factoring all that in.
  17. Check out the forum recommended surgeons tab... in St Paul it looks like Ron Shapiro... now as you research, travel may seem like a non-option but you'll definitely want to keep it in consideration. Yeah a hassle, but to achieve your goals it's certainly worth it. Lot's to evaluate in these early stages, you've come to a great place here with the forum. Ask questions, use the search function, and scope around on here. A lot of information here and many helpful people willing to offer up sound advice.
  18. Hang in there, I know it's tough and I imagine even with a lower donor area Eugenix would be able to help you greatly and look also some hair definitely took and some still to come... so they'll have a head start. It's gonna be workable.
  19. Nice and clean, what a great experience for you and after such a major travel haul. Keep us posted!
  20. Agree with the general sentiment here, you're looking solid as is. That said I hear your points, worth talking with them at least.
  21. Yeah speaking to a surgeon is definitely a must here, hopefully they're willing to work with you through this. But then comes the question, do you trust them to correct it and expect a different result the second time or do you take the lumps and go to Eugenix or some other place recommend here in that area. I know a lot of people wrestle with a free touch up by the original clinic or going elsewhere. I'd be inclined to look elsewhere and get it done right if I were in your shoes and this does indeed turn out to be a lousy result.
  22. Relax, you're in good hands from what I gather. Post op, take it easy and don't touch the grafts. Be careful and protective of that area for 72 hours, but then even through day 7. As in don't touch, when cleaning do as little as possible. Sleep using the U-shaped pillow. It's a drag sure to endure that for 7 days, but it'll give you peace of mind long term that you did everything right. Mostly relax about it all, it's gonna be fine. Just follow post op precautions and err on the side of caution.
  23. Right, that makes sense, I'm looking at Bogota Hairlines with Dr. Camacho as well. Part of the forum and recommended docs here and delivering some great results. So like you say, good to have options. Thanks, the additional insight is helpful!
  24. Thanks Narmak, I'll post some pictures in a bit. It's all primarily right at the hairline and not of great width. I see the excellent work and result you had done and imagine if you took about a pencil width of those grafts out at the hairline on one side, kinda spotty... that's kinda where I am... so the 1000 estimate is to fill there. It's like a 1/3 of what you needed but wanted to error on the side of more for expectations. I'll get some pictures posted though at some point. I should note that while I'm sold on Eugenix I am looking at a couple other options that are a bit closer and appear to do exceptional work. So now I'm back to evaluating and combing through results. Oh the process, haha! Thanks again for the response.
