  1. can you post the link to these allegations
  2. I guess if the patient is happy then its a win. But if I was in his shoes I would have just added density in and behind the hairline that he already had. Anyways good work doc, the implanted hairline looks natural.
  3. The reason DUPA patients are advised against a HT is because the from the donor will thin out and the scars will be visible. If verteporfin leads to reduced scarring then some DUPA patients could get a HT, because if it doesn't work out then they can simply shave.
  4. Scars take 12 months to mature, so the scarring may only be visible after 12 months. Is there any chance that you can show your FUE scars now with a fade cut ?
  5. Did you guys have any other discussion about medication ? What meds are you currently on. Dr Zarev seems like a good bet. I would stick with him.
  6. Ohh that's John !!! Didn't recognise him from the user name. He has posted a picture of Mr Rolandas so got confused.
  7. He has also held a vote for a trial on the community page of his youtube channel.
  8. I'm just waiting for Dr Bloxham's update on Verteporfin. In FUT you don't need any special device or SMP to see if verteporfin is working or not. In FUT it is either working or it isn't. Even if there is no growth of grafts and the scarring is reduced considerably, I would say that is a win. Does anyone over here have any contact with Dr Bloxham ?
  9. I want to see what good shaved and healed FUE scars from a top clinics looks like. I had a bad FUE and my scars are pretty bad when shaved to zero guard.
  10. Where did you get this done ? Final results come at 12 month mark, at 6-7 month mark only 60% of the results come. But I can see from the photos that the direction of the hair is not aligned to your natural hair. I can't tell the angle. Don't get off finastride.
  11. @GeneralNorwood if you will shave your head, then can you please share pictures of donor scars from your FUE surgery. Both in the sides above the ears and in the donor
  12. @DrTBarghouthi I hope your hard work pays off. Can you tell us total number of grafts extracted and number of excursions in which verteporfin was injected ?
  13. He is just worried, but I feel his result is on track. Even if something is going wrong then also he cannot do anything until the 12th month mark. Unlike us he chose the right clinic for the first procedure, he does not know how badly they do the extractions in other Indian clinics. @shadow_god even if the result is not good, then also you have to wait till the 12 month mark for a repair. Which I don't think you will need. Stop stressing till the 12th Month. Let's come back in 12 months and then assess. Even if you consult other surgeons right now, they may not be able to give you accurate information.
  14. You need to update with latest pics and you need to wait for 12 whole months, in February I think it was seven months so it should be in July. I think you will get much better growth in July. You also mentioned that technicians are from Odisha, that is Dr Pradeep's home state, and the technicians are probably from his village, thus since they are from his village seasoned technicians stick with the clinic rather than get training and get a job elsewhere. I also had a transplant in India where the doctor himself did the extractions but he did a very poor job. Eugenix's technicians are far superior to most doctors in India. You also mentioned that you are shedding roughly 500 hairs, hair shedding is normal and healthy hair shed, that is their cycle. Again post recent pictures and wait for 12 months. You also have enough donor hair and donor management from Eugenix looks good. So in case the results are sub optimal then you have enough donor for a repair.
  15. FUE without scarring and without regeneration will also be a game changer. Imagine if someone has retrograde alopecia, that person can have a transplant without worrying about his scars being exposed if those hair thin out.
  16. Maybe we should wait 12 month for the FUT scar to heal. The photos posted by Dr Bloxham were of the fifth or six months mark.
  17. Melvin, Dr Bloxham did not do trichophetic closure. He clearly mentioned this is his video. Maybe Dr Bisanga will take verteporfin more seriously after listening to this.
  18. Dr Bloxham did not do trichophetic closure. He mentioned it in his videos.
  19. More people will volunteer if some data is disclosed about efficacy and safety. People will be willing to donate if some time scale/ goal and objective is given by the doctors. Edit: I am personally waiting for Dr Bloxham's FUT trial results. If it leads to significantly less scarring then I will call that a win.
  20. I'm not sure why doctors deny that finastride causes side effects. Some doctors go a step further and ridicule people saying that they have side effects. I think people should keep measuring their DHT levels and Total Testosterone every three months and taper dosage of finastride as per DHT blood levels.
