  1. Yeah please do let me know how well SMP holds up in scar tissue. I had a bad FUE transplant. Now I just want to shave and cover the scars. If you can just take a picture or two of SMP in your scars that would be really helpful. Also your results may not be very dense but they are looking natural and in just four months they are looking really great. This may be the next Gatsby level repair.
  2. They won't experiment with patients till they are 100% sure it works.
  3. Verteporfin is light sensitive. I think it needs to be activated with some light and then kept out of light for some time. Application is not so easy. Just go to Dr Bargouthi to get an hair transplant. I would advise wait for 12 month mark of Dr Bloxham's trials, at the 12 month things will be very clear for hair transplant surgeons.
  4. He's a norwood 7, and they used only 2000 scalp and rest beard. So the desired density will never be there.
  5. Can you share the clinic name in the DMs. I also had a failed HT in india where the surgeon cheated me.
  6. Maybe try micro dosing with topical. Like for example applying fin once a week instead of everyday.
  7. You mean you had sides from topical finastride ? That's okay I guess, at your age DHT levels would be not very dangerous.
  8. Great to see you on this thread. With regards to your profound experience in this industry as patient, what do you think of Verteporfin. In Dr Bloxhams 5 month update there were some hair growing through the scar and he did not do trichophetic closure. Should a person wait for another two three years before getting a HT by waiting and seeing what happens with verteporfin. If this works, will you like try verteporfin on your donor scars (if not already covered by Eugenix)
  9. Are these your pics ? Where did you get it done from ? Is the ink still holding ?
  10. This is good news, really excited about injecting verteporfin into the bald scalp. It may become a replacement to finasteride. Key word is "may". How many patients have you tried verteporfin on now ? Has any of these patients been 12 months + post OP.
  11. Even if verteporfin leads no new hair follicle in FUT, but leads to significant reduction of scar tissue then that is a win. Why don't people get FUT ? Because of linear scars. What will happen if there is no linear scar ?
  12. 1) Why is his skin pink in colour ? 2) How did he make simvastatin into a topical formulation. Did he mix it with minoxidil ? 3) How do we know this is not just some troll ? Statins are tried and tested safe drugs. Maybe some HT doctor can put it on one single FUE scar and see what happens. That FUE scar can be encircled with some SMP.
  13. Verteporfin seems to be out of stock in India as well. Looks like doctors are doing private trials.
  14. @GeneralNorwood Can you post some pics of your FUE scars ? from what I can see your scars do not look to bad. I had a failed FUE transplant from another clinic, but my scars on the side of my head look horrible. the surgeon used a bigger punch on the side of my head.
  15. If Dr Bloxham posts results which show a definate improvement, then some Indian doctors may want to test it out. Verteporfin is available in India at the moment.
