  1. I have never used fibers, so don't have much experience with them. But there was someone who was a repair patient as well. He opted for a natural Hairline and with hair fibers his results looked amazing.
  2. Maybe @Eugenix Hair Sciencesshould have a dedicated clinic for repairs only. I know they are expanding their facilities to the building next door. Maybe they should use that building for only repairs, with the technicians and doctors dedicated for repair only. Repair patients require more Thought, Love, and Care (TLC). Edit 2: If Eugenix has a desire to expand, then they should expand in the right direction. I think having a dedicated repair clinic will be the right way forward. Edit 1 : Tony, do you have a good hairline ? Maybe you can use some hair fibers ?
  3. How do you still have a beard ? I mean the amount of grafts taken out were huge.
  4. Hey man, since you are in India. Your best bet seems to be Eugenix. I would consider scheduling an appointment with them in person.
  5. With regards to "heavy hairline". the first 1cm of the hairline should only be single hair grafts.
  6. Name the clinic so that other don't have go through with this. Since you are in India and HLC is in Turkey, go to Eugenix for an initial consultation. Then talk to multiple surgeons about what can be done including HLC.
  7. Hey man, just wondering why would the staff need to be tested for HIV ? They can't transfer to patients, can they ?
  8. If you plan on never taking finasteride, then do not get a hair transplant done. Even after your surgery you will have to take it for six months at least.
  9. I am confused, if you had a botched donor then where did they get the grafts to do the repair ?
  10. And even they sometimes don't have good results, for example some of Dr Mwamba's recent results.
  11. Are you comfortable sharing photos of your hair ?
  12. That's how people end up with a need for repairs.
  13. Maybe talk to him first. Lets see how many grafts he recommends.
  14. Hey man I have a wild idea. Why don't you make a budget per annum of what you want to spend on your repair. Then find a good local doctor in the UK, I have heard good things about a certain Dr Reddy and have seen a repair video by Dr Edward Ball, but do your own research. Now if the surgeon quotes you 3,000 grafts split the surgery in 3 years for 1,000 graft each year. Not only will this help with the finances, but it may lead to better results as the doctor will take his time and will know how to course correct in the next surgery. I know this idea is a bit out there and there may be some medical/ technical hurdles that only a doctor will be able to forsee. If you are keen on Eugenix, maybe you can take their top most package like this, but then you will have to travel to India.
  15. Take finastride for a year before getting a hair transplant. Try to get a doctor do a total testosterone test first.
  16. Brother, it's not all rubbish, it is very tough to send money out of India, one is asked a lot of questions. But it doesn't take six months either. I don't think the six months timeline was wrong, considering how bureaucracy works in India, it looks like they took a few days extra as a margin of safety. But the way your surgery was cancelled was a bit weird, and quite honestly unprofessional. As far treatment of non famous clients, I don't think that is the case with their doctors, speaking from personal experience. However, still the way your surgery was cancelled was unprofessional. No doubt the clinic was wrong here. Hope you get your repair done soon and your refund as well.
  17. @daz 2hey man, feeling bad that your transplant was cancelled due to this miscommunication or mess up. Still not able to understand what happened. Regarding the six months timeline, it's not really easy to send money out of India by a business. These things are managed by the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA Act), I have never personally dealt with this act but it is definitely tough to send money abroad. However, it is only tough when large volume of money needs to the transferred abroad, I guess they mostly receive and do not send money out of the country, so don't know why they are taking six months. Maybe they have lots of clients cancel for various reasons and they need to stagger the payment. I also want to pick your brain as to why you chose their lowest Rs 75 package, when in repair cases most people tend to the choose the most expensive package. Edit: Just yesterday I sent $200 to my US stock broking account and was asked weird follow up questions by my bank via email, in addition to other declarations.
  18. This solution is a bit out there. You can fake yourself as an "influencer" get a GST registration in India, get a repair in India, and claim that as an input tax credit in your GST by showing it as a business expense. Of course, no Indian clinic will ever agree to it. Obviously this is hypothetical, I'm not asking you to break the law or anything.
  19. That is different from a tax refund. He claimed that as an expense in his income statement, thereby reducing his earned income on which tax is calculated. Unless OP has a business that is influenced by his appearance, he cannot claim it as a tax write off.
