  1. As it is a form of cosmetic surgery I think the answer is a definite yes. I see hair greed quite often looking round the forum were people have a very good head of hair then go and get what I deem to be unnecessary work done. If you look at the entertainment industry ,Michael Jackson. Barry Manilow',Joan river's, sly Stallone ect ect they look or looked ridiculous especially when insisting they've had nothing done. I think most people would agree that vanity is a addiction that needs feeding just like any other addiction. Have a good day
  2. Can you please tell me what your definition of a hair mill is ko ? I hope its more accurate than your understanding of implantation! Have a good evening
  3. When people used to comment about my hairloss I used to blame the wife. I would say I said she could pluck a hair every time I satisfied her and I'm a norwood 6. If the above was true I would have a full head of hair Have a good day.

  5. Granted as is laser hair removal so why was it not tried before opting for punching them out? This is all I asked is whether this had been discussed between the dr and patient there was no need for someone else's thread to go this way. People do not want scaring especially for a cm below the hairline. I also asked if the plan was to address this area. I know dr Karadeniz said he is going to have another go at punching out more of the old grafts but with all the scar tissue under the skin are grafts placed in this area ever likely to grow. Or is this patient going to be left with scarring with no hair to hide it other than combing his hair forward? These are relevant questions with no agenda being played out. Have a nice day
  6. Agreed there should be consistency with pre op and results. I know they are photos sent by the patient so please could you ask for wet ones of the result so we could at least make a comparison of the hair when wet? Have a good day
  7. Would be very interesting if he turned out to be the same recommended doc from the donor left open thread. If it is this may well be the end of his recommendation here. Have a good day
  8. Hello Vories. Are these state laws within the USA or are these the rules that apply nation wide. Thanks for clarifying for the thread starter were he stands. Have a nice weekend.
  9. As for naming the dr that is totally up to you. I dont know if you saw the thread (when a donor site is left open) if I remember rightly the thread starter was from California but he would not name his dr so he may be from another state. If you put yourself in the position of that chap then consider if you would be happy for your dr to leave. To me its a no brainer. What size of a procedure are you hoping to have? Roughly how many grafts as obviously the greater the number the larger the strip and the possible difficulties this could throw up. As its fut I would rearrange for a date that the doc would be there till the end. Theres a clinic here that got a lot of stick because the dr went home when the patient was being bandaged so your probably right not to name him. At the end of the day its tottaly your choice but the majority of the time ones first thoughts turn out to be correct. Also if I were you I would find the thread I mentioned and private message the dude and ask if your dr is the one that worked on him just to put your mind at rest as I think he was treated terribly. Have a good day
  10. Hello Joe Is your ht fue or fut? If it is fue it would not really concern myself and many more but it obviously does others. If your not happy I would suggest you cancel its your decision. At least the dr made you aware of the situation unlike some others. Who is the Dr ? Have a good day
  11. I would think your apology sincere here if you went to every maral patients thread you had been on and SIDE TRACKED or do you have reason no apology is due there? If you had kept your nose out and let the thread starter answer the questions I asked instead of letting your paranoia get the better of you he may of given a explanation why dr Karadeniz did not opt to try laser hair removal first. Oh yeh thats right it doesn't work does it pup ? The reason I asked the question is because rather than causing more scar tissue that would struggle to accommodate new grafts if laser hair removal had removed the unwanted hairline he could of had a new hairline in the original position instead of a line of scaring. THERES only one person here with a agenda here and its not me. If you want to argue the toss and dont want to do it on a patient thread pm me. But please be consistent and treat marals patients threads with the same respect as this one because while you do not like the clinic they are innocent. Have a good day
  12. Dear members is a bit of a clue or is it just coincidince? Have a good day
  13. If I caused any offence to dr Karadeniz or the patient that was never my intention and I apoligse if this indeed occurred. So pup your telling me electrolysis and laser hair removal are totally ineffective at removing hair? I would of thought laser hair removal done over a 6 month period would have eradicated the majority or maybe all the unwanted grafts but then again I may be wrong may be you could enlighten me with your knowledge of hair removal pup! Pup I don't know why you think I'm having a pop at the dr by asking questions about the removal of the old hairline at the moment the patient is going to be left with scaring (hopefully minimal) but still with hair there. I don't know if I missed something but is there a plan to address the old hairline with new grafts? Lastly pup your a hypocrite making out as though I'm causing offence to the patient here yet how many of marals threads have you been on stirring up trouble? If laser hair removal or electrolysis don't work there is a lot of business making a vast amount of money out of it They were legitimate questions I asked with no ulterior motive in there. Have a good day.
  14. Can you elaborate further on this question? Have a good day
  15. Hello pianist. What is the plan for the old hairline? Did you not discuss with Dr Karadeniz other possible hair removal techniques rather than trying to remove them via fue? Laser or electrolysis hair removal? Was body hair transplant not a option for mid scalp then the grafts that have been used there could of been used to try and replace the old hairline. If Dr karadeniz has another go at removing more of the old hairline via fue it will only increase the chances of the scaring being more visible is this his plan? Most people go fue to avoid the linear scar associated with fut no one at all wants scaring on the hairline I wish you all the best with the results and minimal scaring you are due some good fortune. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day.
  16. Mikeey there are several other complications than the example I mentioned. I may be wrong but it seems to me shock loss seems more prevalent with fut than fue. Hair growing different directions above and below the scar ect ect both techniques have their pros and cons but why is fue becoming so popular ? Its not just newbies doing a bit of research but old hands who have been on the boards for years researching such as myself. I am going with fue thats my choice but I would never try and persuade anyone to do either technique over the other. I would advise them to research thoroughly each technique and make their own personal choice based on their research. Have a good day
  17. Hello Bardlebee. Apart from taking on board what others have already stated and some very goods points have been high lighted to you I think you should look beyond these. With either there are the risk of complications but with fut I think the risks are much greater. We still see plenty of scar revision surgery and if you look at a resent case were the donor was left open because of excessive tension complications still arise. If you are after a one pass procedure yet hit complications with fut you will need to go through it all again just to reduce scarring. Have a look for the thread about the donor being left open which to my mind is a massive advert for choosing fue over fut.Let's not forget that this was done by a recommended doc and as far as I know he is still unnamed so it could be any recommended doc in the states. I am pro fue but if people choose fut good for them and I wish them all the best, Have a good day
  18. I hope the most deserving gets picked. Hopefully someone who's desperate for help, maybe a serious repair job. Never crossed my mind to enter it you only need to look around the forum boards to realise even in this day and age there are still plenty of repair cases appearing. Who ever wins I wish them the best possible result. Have a nice day
  19. If your just looking at Turkey I suggest you look at the following. Erdoğan Doğanay Maral Demirsoy Karadeniz. This is by no means a exhaustive list but its a starting point for you.Look in the fue section at patients of these drs and read through their threads so you know better what to expect if you choose to go with one of them. Hope this helps you out a little. Have a read and have a good day
  20. It depends on your budget, how much hairloss you have, what you want to achieve. And many other things. If you want post up a photo of your hairloss with some information. How long you have been losing your hair,Medications you take, Your age, Whether your prepared to travel ect ect ect. Have a nice day
  21. Ask all the questions you want just don't rush into anything. You need to know as much as possible of the place you choose. You think hairloss is embarrassing just imagine how you could look? No such thing as a stupid question if you don't know the answer. Not asking the questions that more foolish. Have a nice day
  22. TheAviator DON'T DO IT It sounds like you basically dont know anything about this clinic so why would you entrust them to do a ht on you? You could end up being disfigured for life is that a gamble your willing to take? The whole point of this site is a resource for people to research hair loss and all the options available to combat it. If you don't research how do you know their any good for all you know they may well have done a great deal of harm to a lot of people. If you do go there I wish you all the best but dont come back here crying about your result if its horrendous. There are plenty of places to choose from and you do not need to limit your choice to recommended clinics on here. DON'T DO IT. RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH. It might turn out to be the biggest mistake of your life. I've been blunt so maybe you will hede the warning and I'm going to be blunt again YOUR A FOOL IF YOU GO THROUGH WITH IT I mean no offense by this I am just thinking of your well being. Have a good day
