  1. The work looks good. Its a lot of grafts for a small area though. How old is the patient? Is he on meds? How many grafts does he have left via FUE? What type of FUE punch does Dr Rahal use? manual or motorised?
  2. In my opinion, Rahal's FUE work is not as good as his FUT work. Perhaps its because he uses a motorised punch. Either way, I haven't seen any large FUE cases from him with excellent yield that could rival the top FUE surgeons. just my opinion. I would suggest Lorenzo, Erdogan, etc. Good luck
  3. This clinic wets the hair in the before pics. As you mentioned, you cant make a comparison as a result. I actually think Dr Erdogan does good work but its very frustrating when pics are presented in a misleading manner. As everyone knows, the difference in volume and coverage of your hair when its wet compared to when its dry is night and day!
  4. All surgery has risks involved and hair transplantation is no different. This situation is when it pays to go with an ethical doc. However, i do feel that certain factors can increase the risk of poor growth, such as dense packing or large sessions. It would therefore perhaps be better to go with slightly lower density in the next procedure.
  5. very nice hairline design but PLEASE stop posting wet before pics and dry after. its very misleading. Is it possible to get one of the moderators to contact the clinic and tell them this?
  6. it never ceases to amaze me what Lorenzo can do with such little grafts. amazing.
  7. congratulations on your new job Joe. You have contributed a lot to this forum. I do however, have to ask, I always got the impression from you that you were against FUE and against aggressive hairlines, which Rahal does a lot of. Have your views actually changed regarding these? Thanks
  8. It's great to see that a patient with poor donor can still get a significant improvement. This is the mark of an excellent surgeon I feel, as most good hair transplant docs can do a good job in patients with good donor.
  9. I have to say WOW. Excellent hairline design. Truly artistic. Its amazing what a difference a well designed hairline can make to a persons appearance.
  10. minoxidil can be irritating to the scalp - it may be worth stopping it.
  11. I can honestly say that you would be hard pushed to find a FUE surgeon that can produce transformations on par with Dr Lorenzo. Great Job!
  12. I have to say I LOVE this hairline design. This is my favourite Lorenzo result! A good number of grafts and a good youthful hairline design. Brilliant!
  13. Hi, Like a lot of people atm, I've been considering a procedure with Dr Lorenzo. However, one reservation I've had is regarding his hairline design. I always thought it was a bit too conservative for my liking. I found a video on the injertocapillar website showing a nice youthful hairline design on a 24 year old, although the description states he asked for a very straight hairline design. 1551 FU's. Hair Transplant by FUE Technique. Injertocapilar.com. 917/2013
  14. To be honest it looks like you have lost a lot of native hair since your before pic. 1900 grafts has given you some coverage and a frame to your face but isn't enough so far. You need to complete the job now and go for a second procedure.
  15. great result and great coverage considering the number of grafts used!
  16. excellent work as usual mick! does Dr Lorenzo do anything different pre/post op in such patients with atopic dermatitis?
  17. Wow! you actually have a lot of growth! look at your pre op pics - the difference is huge! in a couple of months the density will improve. You're right on track for a solid result mate. just hang in there a bit longer
  18. Hey don't worry at all. It's far too early rite now. Perhaps you shouldn't have got your hair cut so short as you will have to wait for it to grow out before you can really see how things are progressing. Even though 5.5months is too early to judge anything as you have another 6+ months of growing. Another thing to bear in mind is that people often don't realise how much progress they've made as they see it everyday. Do you have any pics? It may be that the growth is starting.
  19. wow! great youthful hairline whilst using an appropriate number of grafts! love it!
  20. tbh it looks like you had a nice improvement with your first procedure. another thing to bear in mind is that 2nd time round prople grow slower, so it takes longer to see the final result.
  21. Hi Levi, sorry to hear about your story. The fact that you have been to two different clinics and had poor growth from both suggests that for some unknown reason you may not be a good grower. Did Dr Hakan perform motorised FUE or manual? How many days did he perform it over? 4000 grafts is a lot so I would expect it to be over 2 days. Look on the bright side, if you had FUT you would have been left with a scar aswell. Like the others have said, you should consider SMP good luck
  22. I think this patient, after his FUE session would be a good candidate for SMP. The FUE grafts will give a nice 3D effect, and the SMP will give the look of more coverage.
