  1. Agree....now imagine results if he have medium or coarse hair caliber! Thnx to Rolands yt videos i went with dr.Ferreira too...otherwise i would end up in some cheap clinic. Super uber happy with hairline dr.Ferreira made me..... Thnx @Rolandas , your vids saved my hair!
  2. I'm on my 10th day so ugly ducking phase is still waiting for me....so far i've seen only few hairs shedded with scrabs......but i hope some of it will stay 🤷‍♂️
  3. I always had short haircut, recently used some fibers.....but it would be also weird to show up with shaved head so i planned this HT way before. I took 6 weeks off from work and do the HT on second day of my vacation so by the time i get back to work my hair should be as it was before HT
  4. Redness is barely visible and only mere hairline if you look at it up close. I guess it depends on skin type and tan....i am caucasian but my skin is never too pale...adriatic sea coast, plenty of sun here I was among ppl yesterday and nobody noticed i had HT (haven't told anyone), they only commented why i shaved my head haha. I hope it'll stay this way, without redness and i hope i won't shed too much, first HT of very small numbers over 10 years ago if i remeber right only 40-50% had shed off....so fingers crossed! Anyway this pic above looks worse than in normal light and angle...at least i think so!
  5. DAY 9 One thing i noticed, once crusts and scrabs are gone transplanted hair started to grow nicey (temporary growth i know)....seems scrabs are holding back for transplanted hair to grow, also scrabs and crusts once dried and become hard it inflict some minor pain and itching. Anyway it's nice to see scrabs are gone and trasplanted hair is growimg even it's only temporary growth before shedding.
  6. Yes I hope so, he also said my hair from donor was very very thick, so coverage should be really nice....even i don't aim for 15 year old density....i'm fine with see trough (natural look if possible) and once they go grey since my hair is already 30% grey it'll be just right..... My father is grey too and have frontal third not quite dense but since his hair is grey it looks pretty good. Btw i'm 36 years old!
  7. Understand that, i was asking if there is no temporary growth on hair immediately in days post op does that means grafts are dead? I know shedding happens in the following weeks but this is something else....for example 10 grafts have that post op temporary growth of 1-4mm (before shedding) and 3 grafts have no growth at all....does that means those 3 grafts are dead?
  8. As i see on many succesful patients after scrabs are gone 7-14 days post op there is a nice temporary growth of transplanted hair. Is it a rule of surviving grafts? What about grafts that don't show temporary growth, will they survive? I have some grafts with temporary growth and some with less or no temporary growth, will they survive, is it any kind of surgery succes indication?
  9. Day 8 Will be quite happy if 90% of this survives, also i had some hairs shedded with crusts!
  10. I had same doubts from the moment i scheduled HT until the very few moments before surgery......after surgey finished and when i saw my new hairline i was so happy i didn't gave up! If your prognosis from the doctor are good and you go with good and respected HT surgeon than don't give up, go with it! Btw as a motivation i used imagining my new hairline and how i'll no longer have to worry about my hairline! Just imagine pic of ypur new hairline!
  11. I just returned from trip like that! 1. Find a accomodation with private/your own bathroom (to wash your haead and other post op care in peace) and refrigerator as you'll need to use ice packs for swelling. 2.Take a lot of movies, tv shows or books 3.Make sure to have food delivery option, and some other things.... Also it is good to have kitchen available so when doctor allow ypu to drink coffe ypu can get one for ypurself without needing to go out exposing yourself....bring coffe hehe! 4. If you need to go to buy something do it at night to avoid sunlight, after few days 3-5 you can wear a hat or a cap but only if it doesnt touch your recipient area....at least my doctor suggested that! Before trip choose wisely what hat/baseball cap to take, try it out so it doesn't touch your planned recipient area. 5. Take a good travel pillow and zipper vests/shirts....take clothes ypu can easily change without touching your head (transplant zones) Lucky i stayed in place with all those conditions easliy and safely available. Good luck!
  12. Hi gents! Question; 8 days post op still scrabs there but i see some temporal growth on some implanted grafts while there is also a lot of graft hair not having temporal growth....is that ok, will hair grow from those grafts that doesn't show post op temporal growth?
  13. Contacted doctor and he examined it and said everything looks fine 😁. Crusts slowly getting off! Still can't stop looking how good hairline shape he made me, guy is an hairline artist!
  14. Looks good, you can already apply some minoxidil and hair fibers to look full! (Not sure is it wise to use hair fibers on recipient area)
  15. Day 6 and i already have hundreds of pics in my phone, zooming in and inspecting crusts and hairs every day
  16. This is my 2nd time but first one was more than 10years ago and only few hundred grafts so i forgot how it goes. I guess we're one of those "paint drying" and "grass growing" observers 😆
  17. Ahh thnx, i know one hair won't make a difference....but still being picky on every tiny detail huh!
  18. 6 days post op, after headwash fpumd this on my forehead, is it hair with follicle or just shedded hair in dried aloe vera gel? Should i be worried?
  19. Day 6 post op, after headwash found this on my forehead, is it normal, is this hair with follicle or just hair dried in aloe vera gel? I don't rub recipient area durig the wash, just gently tap shampoo foam on it
  20. Oh i don't remember....i think i didn't wait long after him reviewing my case, than we exchanged few more emails about details.....everything else was arranged by Alexandra (his employee), surgery date and such. Anyway they were open to any question and replied rather quickly....maybe now he's over booked....he does whole surgery by himself (implatation and extraction) and one patient per day and every surgery over 1800-2000grafts is separated into two or more days as i manage to understand...originally my surgery needed to be 2500 grafts over 2 days but i wanted to do only hairline amd temples so it end up on single day surgery. Also as i managed to catch by going next day for check up and donor area headwash, he doesn't do surgeries every day, some days are just for consultations. Seems he's not running for money, rather for good reputation (knowing money will follow)!
  21. Will do don't worry, once my new hairline grows i'll probably do another smaller HT at dr.Bruno to fill the rest if needed
  22. Just had a first whole headwash and first time applying aloe vera gel to the both recipient and donor area......man it is such a releaf, i forgot i had a HT. Aloe vera gel rocks!
