  1. Damn this looks really good, looks too good to be true, one of the best results i've ever seen! Can't wait for mine to grow up, i'm only 39 days post op (fugly duck)...also done by dr.Ferreira thnx to your yt vids!
  2. Bald date 36, fugly duck's log: Shedding is mostly over, one can estimate what will shed at one month post op, hairs that keep growing in size with natural hair holding tight while hairs that had temporary growth up to 5-6mm and stopped growing will/did fall off....so i'm basically over with shedding, pew percent left! Now waiting for my non-transplanted hair to grow so i can cover up weird bald spots. Fugly ducking x-mas is ahead of me, would be nice if i can lay in cryo-chamber and woke up 6 months from now. I wish i've done this few years ago!
  3. Haha yeah, ugly ducking x-mas is for me too! Best time to do HT would be January
  4. Looks great for month 6! I also had HT at dr.Bruno one month ago, now i'm in ugly ducking phase and hate it, most of the hairs has shed.....waiting phase!
  5. Hi all, this is my ONE Month update! Most of the hairs has shed ~80-90%, very few short ones are left to shed while about ~10% kept growing normally.
  6. I see you had nice temporary growth 10 days post-op, that should be a good sign of grafts survuval! So maybe it will grow over next 6 months!
  7. It looks really good for a 6 months, if i've seen you somewhere else i'd never think you had HT, a lot of girls usually have that kind of hairline you have now which is normal IMO and looks normal.....and you're still 6 months from final result so just be happy and don't worry about results it will only get better😄 You're a beautiful lady with already good looking hairline sooo 💪💪🧚‍♀️💃💃💃...
  8. I just looked up close pics of your donor and recipient area, i'm not a doctor or expert but donor area easily could be suffering from shock loss since there seems to be a lot of black dots with very short hairs, it may be that they stopped growing or fell out cos of shock loss....if so they're likely to grow back. Recipient area placed grafts seems very sparse placed but also seems there is natural hair in between. Again your pics are of not so good quality and we all may be wrong in here, maybe everything will be ok .....just don't stress or panic....and do online consultation with another good HT surgeon. If surgery is poorly done ask for a refund, also with that density try to count transplanted grafts take a pic and mark count, that density seems far from 3000 grafts!
  9. It does seem like a really bad HT work but please don't panic or fall into depression, stress will only make it worse and could affect transllanted hairs! Also pics are not of good quality so it may be that your donor had some shock loss, it will grow back if so! Everything is fixable so please don't fall into depression 🙂 Now you just need a good plan and things will sort out! 1. Wait few months for donor area to heal and trasplanted hair to start showing results and than you can do something about it....it may turn out not so bad. 2.Looking at rest of your hair i'm sure it can be fixed by another good HT or SMP, donor area aswell recipient area. 3.You have a really really good head shape so even with shaved head i believe you look good and rock 💪💪 4.Make some high quality pics of donor and recipient area (so doctor can see scalp skin up close) and send it to some good HT surgeon. Many good doctors suggestied on this forum will give you free online consultation. But i'm sure what ever results turns out it is fixable, right now stress can only do more damage to your hair so don't panic...wait and fix it if neccesary! Stay strong brother💪
  10. Thnx! 3€ per graft, only if going with larger graft numbers price goes down to 2.5€
  11. 3 weeks Last few days shedding is increasing, all the smaller hairs are falling down, long ones are still holding. Long ones kept growing same as natural hair, in lenght....while shorther ones had some minor growth after HT and stopped growing at second week post op. Now waiting for my original hair to grow and cover transplanter area as much is possible. Redness is more obvious after applying aloe vera gel, after headwash redness is much less noticable. I was curious how sheeding phase is progressing in general and to know what to expect so i decided to post pics until i shed all the transplanted hairs and ugly ducking phase become stable.
  12. 3€ per graft...but if you go above 3000 or 4000 grafts price is 2.5€ if i remember right.....it may all depend on the case you are so i would suggest contacting clinic for details and consultation. Accomodation i've found near the clinic (few minutes by walk) for ~30€ per night, i used booking.com, airbnb is also good. But Alexandra from the clinic will also offer you to find nearby accomodation.....i didn't want to bother her with that so i found it by myself. Anyway make sure to have room with bathroom and fridge available (ypu'll need icepacks for swelling first couple of days). Also airport is ~25 minutes from the Espinho, i used Uber and it cost me 15-20€. I've also spent 20-40€ per day on restaurants, coffe bars and food delivery.
  13. I was asked by doctor to reduce or stop smoking two weeks before surgery and a week or two post-op! I reduced it by over 90%, and after surgery i had idk maybe 2 cigarets per day....i roll that small ones! Doctor said avoid smoking but if completley stoping causes you stress that is also not good for transplanted hair or hair in general so keep it low as much as you can avoiding stress. Overall it wpuld be good for our hair to stop smoking or keep it on few cigs per day.....now i really think a lot of completley stop smoking!
  14. Day 15 Shedding is starting, found few hairs on my hamd palm. Next pics i'll post at one month mark.
  15. In my case i didn't rub scrabs, during a hair wash they all went in a "slime" state and i just passed gently with finger tips and hand palm over it (as noted in post op hairwash instructions) and it all went down in a 2 headwashes.....i think it was day 8th post op. Alsl it said if by day 10-15 scrabs are still there just let water run over it for 10min. Since then my transplanted hair had a lot temporary growth, less itching, stiffnes and pain once scrabs are gone!
  16. Pretty much indentical experience i had at dr.Bruno Ferreira! Love that OCD part, as well going one patient per day, few patients per week and ~2000 grafts transplant over 10-12h is a proof of work based on quality! Ppl should choose doctors wisely and not by the price, donor area is limited! Wish you a happy and succesful healing qith even better results and early growth
  17. Just a regular baseball cap, keep in mind that i had small recipient area and only 1600 grafts so there was no danger nor i touched it im any moment.....head shape also is big factor, i can wear a cap without cap fabric touching my top/scalp, it will lay on my head only touching sides! If you are going for big graft numbers and area and have different head shape i understand your concerns......try to plan it good and only you know your situation and best for it, nothing else i can say!
  18. Yes and no, since it was my 5th day post op my donor area healed quite good and hair had some minor growth so donor area looked completley normal while recipient area was barely noticable from few meters onward but still from up close scrabs and redness were noticable, thing is aloe vera gel dr.Ferreira provides in goodie bag helps a lot hiding that redness and moisturise scalp and scrabs making it less noticable. Still i weared a cap during checkout and flight while taking it off once i sat down and ordered coffe and some food....not much ppl around me so nobody noticed, once boarded flight i put on my cap. In connecting flights in Munich and back at home it was already late so airport was mainly empty so i didn't wear a cap. Just find a least crowded place at airport and relax!
  19. Cap after 3-5 days according to instructions. I did wear it ona 4th and 5th day i think but only for a brief period and it wasn't touching my recipient area (important), simce grafts tend to be safe only after 10-14days. So i would recommend not to wear cap for prolonged period of time to allow normal bloodflow across the scalp for better healing and most important not to touch recipient area by the cap. Can't find minox use in post op instructions but i hear or read somewhere it is safe to use it 15 days post-op....i'll wait 20-30 days just in case. My conclusion is to keep recipient area safe as posssible until it heals properly and than to use minoxidil, fibers and such!
  20. Quoting: do not cut your hair for the first 15 days. Avoid cutting your hair in the recipient area with clippers during the first 5 months. Aviod wearing a helmet, contact sports or underwater activities for 30 days. Avoid exposing transplanted area to the sun for 15 days and avoid transplanted area get sunburn for a year. I'll cut my hair (sides and the back) after 30days and top of my head (especially transplanted/recipient area) with scissors for next 6 months.
  21. Pic anlge is weird and hair is "wet" so it looks wierd and unpropotional...but hair is almost of the same lenght on whole head...but it's still short... Here:
  22. Day 12 Scalp looks shiny and hair is somewhat "wet" from aloe vera gel....looks fuller and better with washed and dried hair
