Right now when the hair is wet it is visible, but I believe that is only due to the donor area being shaved. Once that fills back in and with the length I wear my hair I do not think it will be visible when wet, but only time will tell.

I’m sure you’re right, please keep us updated.

If you have great donor density it might not be visible at all when wet.  On the flip side, if you have average or low donor density the scar can still be seen when the hair is wet, even with longer hair styles.  Totally depends on the patient.  For me I do avoid swimming in broad daylight.

    Thanks for the answer @aaron1234

Dr. Bhatti just released a video which would compliment this video well. He talks about how the hair thins at the end of middle age - around 55 or so - when the body boosts the 5ar enzyme which then converts more testosterone to DHT. This would affect all hair, including transplanted hair. When Dr. Wong talks about a young patient, on a DHT blocker, still having thick transplanted hair after a couple of decades out from a HT, age is as much a factor for maintaining the caliber of the hair.

Please don’t tell me the older we get the more dht we have? This is a nightmare…

  4. You absolutely don’t need to co-wash, what you need to do is get a good shampoo and conditioner for super sensitive hair/scalp I recommend free and clear from vanicream for shampoo and conditioner, there is no way that will dry you hair and scalp those products are literally free of everything that could be irritating. I personally use pura d’or for hair thinning shampoo and conditioner.

You can find both products at cvs or Walgreens. After you’ve washed you hair you need to apply oil on it just few drops spread all over your hair and then brush it with a special wet brush to spread it out evenly and please let your hair dry naturally.

Last thing don’t buy a cheap oil instead get a good one from Sephora like the one from olaplex and my personal favorite the one from bumble and bumble invisible oil.

I guarantee you that you can totally change your hair that way.

@jp28 Thabk you for your comment. I have struggled with dandruff all my life :( any shampoo suggestions? None seem to have worked

I don’t unfortunately but a specialist definitely will!

On the bright side you’re only 18 so you can be proactive now to avoid more damage down the line.

  6. Hi,

Well first you have beautiful hair! I’m not sure if you’re thinning but you could still go see a specialist and have that confirmed.

I notice some dandruff tho and that could be a skin condition so I’ll get that treated first cause that could actually cause hair loss.

If you get into treatment right now I feel like there could be chances to reverse that hair thinning if hair thinning there is.

Can you let him grow his hair another inch or so and then jump to conclusions after. Someone body must agree hair is very short and transplants require a bit of length to give density ? His hair is about 1cm at the most and he has high contrast , what are we expecting to see? A full head of hair again?

Has nothing to do with the length, I could cut my hair even shorter and have great density, the transplant failed period!

Now it would be nice to find out why.

Wow I have no words... I can't stay silent here. Firstly you are bitching about the driver's lack of English speech.

Do you really consider yourself English fluent? Especially in Indonesia, like they all speak english. Let alone Indonesian customer service representatives driving us nuts over the phone. On my last visit to Indonesia I could hardly understand anyone who tried to speak English. And you know what, I did not even expect them to speak English as it's not the first language in Indonesia. Why the hell are you complaining about the drivers English, while mentioning it yourself that there was a translator (an interpreter) present. Shame on you for making this unreasonable unintelligent unethical comments. I personally met the driver during my procedure 5 months ago and the guy was so intelligent and polite always arrived on time. Yes asshole sometimes ppl get stock in traffic. It's not an Indonesian bicycle or a goat. I don't want to ruin your mood since you are post OP and may have various emotions that's why will keep it brief. You have no right to take it public and accuse ppl that are so kind and nice. Im not related to them neither they are aware of my reply to you but I am so certain in these people that operate the LHC that I could not believe to see any negative feedback online. Once I did I couldn't stay silent. I see you kept texting them at night time and although u got replies to every single repeated question multiple times, you were still dummy enough to continue arguing with them. In Indonesia you would've gotten imprisoned probably for your attitude. At the clinic when they drew your hairline that was the time to raise these issues not after the procesure, but still they seemed like willing to discuss it with you in the morning. Shame on you. Just because you are in bad mood u have no right of making false accusations. I know for a fact it's a crime in Turkey to do such a thing and obviously it is a civil matter for libel and slander.

    Get a life

Not related to them but you joined the forum 59min ago, 🤔 funny timing…

Still agree with you on the first part tho!
