    I’m sort of in the middle. I’m happy that I had one, but wish it had turned out better than it did. It’s better than it was before, but the lack of density still bugs me and means that I’m still crafty combing, but £9000 less better off.

    It would look fine as you age mate. As I’m guessing you’ll be taking Finasteride, which would help maintain your natural hair anyway. I’d personally go with Dr Bisanga, as it’s not just the amount of grafts, but the skill of the surgeon that makes a great HT.

    I can’t spot a good HT, but after having mine and being on this forum, I see men who look like they’re going bald and think “Aw mate, there’s so much you could do with that hair and a few thousand pounds’ 😂

    Your hair looks fantastic as it is, but you’ve got to be happy with yourself, not what others think. Good luck with it, although you won’t need it with using Dr Bisanga. You definitely don’t look 45 though. Are you bathing in virgin’s blood as well as taking hair medication? 😂

    If you shaved your head on 1st January, then it’s not going to look great. Don’t shave it again and post some pictures in 2/3 months and I’m sure it’ll look a lot better than it does now. It will look thicker with a good few months of growth.

    Their website just says they trained in Harley Street in London, but doesn’t say who with or for how long. Looks like both doctors there have done a lot of other areas of medicine before HT, but a lot of doctors probably have.

    Just Googled the clinic. Looks like they have about 6 years HT experience, and the only results I can actually find are either on their website, or Trust Pilot reviews. Seems a bit strange that no other member has any experience with the clinic, but that doesn’t mean they’re not a good clinic.

    Which clinic is Dr Miln based in mate? I’m in the UK but have never heard him mentioned before.

    Can we see some photos please? Dr Bisanga is usually spot on and obviously knows what he’s doing. You might need to just have faith in his work and wait for the results.

    I’m guessing a lot of Americans aren’t used to “small” cities that we have in Europe, due to how big the US is in general. I went to Brussels in November and found it pretty easy to get around. Beware though, if you fly to Charleroi Airport, they don’t have Ubers. I ended up getting a taxi driven by an Albanian who charged me a lot more than an Uber did to get back to the airport. Flying into the main Brussels airport would be recommended.

    Getting a hairline that is that low will make you look strange as you get older. The whole point of having a transplant is so that it doesn’t look like you’ve had one, if that makes sense.

    It was FUE mate. Surgery was fine. Once the anaesthetic is in then you won’t feel anything. The anaesthetic is the most painful part, but it’s over pretty quickly. I’ve been offered a free top up of 500 grafts. You’d be better having a proper meeting if you can, you so you know exactly how many grafts you’ll need before you get there.

    Have you had a face to face consult with Dr Arshad? If not, I’d suggest you do. A number of patients were told they needed an extra 500 grafts on the day of the operation (including me). This cost an extra £1500, and is obviously a shock if you haven’t budgeted for it. I need a top up due to lack of density following my HT with him, just like many others who had their procedure around the same time. I know that Sommiya said in another forum that they had worked out what the previous issue was and were addressing it.

    Dr Arshad has plenty of reviews on here, mine included. Type his name into the search bar. He charges £3 per graft (or at least he did in 2021 when I had mine done). That’s pretty much the same as Dr Bisanga, Dr Mwamba, and other elite doctors in Europe.
