Merry Christmas to you all. May your bellies and wallets be full in 2023 🍻. Absolutely pouring with rain in Liverpool, UK.

I had my ht with Dr Arshad in 2021. Here are my before and most recent photos after 18 months. He is a very ethical doctor. A number of patients from 2021 suffered from a lack of density. The clinic offered free top ups to rectify the issue. There are a number of his patients on here, so search his name in the search engine to check out his results. If you choose to have it done abroad, Dr Bisanga in Belgium will probably cost the same or slightly less, and is one of the most highly regarded surgeons in the field.

Techs behavior during surgery
Marko7t4 replied to Gabbck's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
You can’t really expect people to be quite for hours on end. As long as they’re doing their job properly, it shouldn’t matter. The techs doing my implants were chatting to me, and each other, about anything and everything. They put on a rock music channel for me on the radio, chatted about bands, life, etc, but also spoke to each other about the work they were doing. It helped to pass the time. -
Not updated for a while. I’m now around 18 post op. Here are pictures from today. I’ve grown my hair a bit longer to try and disguise the lack of density at the front until I get it sorted. Lighting is inside and almost straight above me head, so is favourable to the front section, but not as much to the crown. I’ve also dyed my hair this morning, which helps to disguise the lack of density a bit too

Looks fine for 2.5 months mate. I had mine done by Dr Arshad in June 2021. Looking forward to seeing your progress. Your native hair does look really thick, so if your grafts grow like that you’ll end up looking fantastic.

I’d never get bored of punching him in the face. He’s one of the i funniest comedians I’ve ever seen. -

His brothers were both bald early in life. Robin had either a transplant or a wig, but Maurice just got on with it. It’s highly unlikely that Barry had a glorious mane of hair well into his 70s. -
Could you not go through your travel insurance for claiming travel expenses back? The problem with these cheap HT firms is that they prey on the vulnerability of HT patients and the usual embarrassment which most of us feel about getting one. A hair transplant is (usually) a big expense, which a lot of people can’t afford, so when these too good to be true adverts come up, they know that people who can’t usually afford a transplant will jump at the chance, but they’re usually the people who also can’t afford to lose the few thousand pounds that these HT “clinics” charge when it all goes wrong. In your case, they shouldn’t have even offered you the HT based on your diabetes, so that would go in your favour. I’m not sure where in the UK you are, but I could give you the number for a firm who deals with litigation, which I don’t do. At least that way you could take advice.

Looking at your pre and now post top up pics, you can certainly see an improvement. You didn’t have a significant amount of hair loss to start with, so I would’ve expected 2000 grafts in the front area to give you a bit more density than you have. Saying that, your hair looks good styled the way it is now, and as long as you’re happy with the result, that’s all that matters.

I pray to God that this is a photo of someone’s head and not a nutsack 😂 -
Amazing result in such a short space of time.
