Thanks @Shadman I recently got a haircut and felt pretty good. Finally not living under a hat at all times. Looked at my old pictures and even though I have a couple issues I want to fix, I know I came a long way. I’m looking to do my third surgery in January.

Very well put. But do you plan on letting it grow out? I know us bald guys can be addicted to the clippers. It could be a hard habit to break with new hair.

I think when your able to keep your hair tight and short on the sides it makes the top look fuller. This is one of the advantages of FUE that no one really mentions. But you got to be into that hair style in the first place.

Thanks @rob7331I went with the exclusive package. It was 7600 usd for 4000 grafts. I honestly don’t think it matters what package you choose except the fact the exclusive package includes hotel and rides from the airport and hotel and back.

@SLAlooking at my donor it’s red and inflamed from the surgery of course, so it’s a kind of hard to tell whats what but it doesn’t look depleted though.

So last year someone I know revealed to me they had a hair transplant. I was really impressed it. He showed me his before pictures and said I should think about getting it done. I’ve been buzzing my head for 6-7 years and at a NW6-7 I was thinking I’m too far gone, nether less the seed was planted and my hair journey begins.
So I grew my hair out to see what I was working with. I was bordering on a NW7. Started doing some research online and realized I could get a HT although not full coverage. I started to get excited and thought about going to clinic in Turkey where my friend went but instead I decided to go to a local Doctor. I had a consultation and hastily booked with that Doctor for 2500 grafts FUT. After a while thinking about have strip surgery and dealing with the scar I backed out and canceled.
I decided I’m going to do FUE instead. Start getting some online consultations. I ones I reached out to were Dr Bhatti, Eugenix, and HLC. They all roughly said about the same. I have roughly 3500 max donor plus 500 beard grafts which would give me a hairline and light coverage in the back. Although interestingly Dr Bhatti said he would use chest hair too. Also HLC said they won’t accept me unless I’m on medication for 6-12 months. This was Jan 2021 so I soon realized going to India anytime soon wasn’t going to happen with the travel restrictions. I started using minoxidil and got on finasteride….

@Hayden87 I just got back from Eugenix and I don’t think it matters what package or Doctor you chose. The techs/nurses are ones doing the surgery. I honestly think you’re better off getting a junior doctor. They are going to be less busy than Dr Arika and have more time to focus on you.

@Melvin- ModeratorNot looking forward to the flight one bit. I don’t sleep to well on planes. But it’s a small price to pay. I wasn’t evening thinking about a pillow at home for recovery but I think I need to get one like you got pictured to.

Travel to Eugenix the 22nd and 23rd from east coast US. Just wondering if anybody has any suggestions for a travel pillow, seen a few different styles on Amazon not sure what’s best.

This is my progress on finasteride for 9 months and minoxidil for 11 months. Also growing my hair out for about 6 months, been buzzing it for about 7 years prior. Got a upcoming surgery with Eugenix on Nov 22-23 so it’s my pre-op photos as well. I definitely gained some hair mostly around the third month on finasteride.

I think the best way to get a hold of them is by calling their main office number from a mobile or landline phone. I’m not sure they check their pm’s on here.

Sorry you were treated like that. Especially since a patient is in a very vulnerable state right before surgery.
