I gotta say you do a good job styling your hair with the fibers. Also I would try finasteride and minoxidil if I were you there’s a good chance for thickening up the crown

I would say it looks pretty good to be honest. I’m curious how would it look if you get tanned?

I would say it’s a large area to cover and the patient is a full nw 7 it’s about as good as can be for someone who is in his situation, who still wants to have their hair. I’m really curious about the success of the chest grafts it isn’t something I’ve seen a lot of.

Thanks for the update!

Any updates from the patient? This is real interesting case.

Hi @Floyd0127 would love to see your 1 year progress
-
@Fredtb I understand. Dr Umar is a doctor who uses beard and chest based in LA I think.
-
Can you give finasteride another go? Maybe try smaller doses.

I go off who’s vetted by the community plain and simple. I want to see cases like mine as @deeznutssaid. And I want to see patient reviews that are beginning to end.

Check out @MrClean58 results. I think it’s a good example of a good realistic result for a 6-7

I check his videos out occasionally. He seems to recover from his hair loss mostly.

Would love to see your progress.

Yes looks damn good! How is your crown coming along?
-
I’m just looking at your photos and looks like what 1-1.5 month of length of hair. It doesn’t seem your losing too much by shaving to have the procedure.
-
Can you buzz your sides to get the smp done, then let your hair grow back out?

I love seeing nw6-7 cases on here. It seems Dr Bicer is really skilled in graft placement. I will be following your progress closely. Thanks for posting.

The scar from an fut is what makes me lean towards fue. A good surgeon can give a nice thin scar but that still doesn’t guarantee it won’t stretch. I want to wear hair short on the sides. Plus I’ll never have thick dense hair on even when I have surgery, so it will be a better contrast with thin on top and short on sides.

My advice as I’m in a similar situation. Get on finasteride and minoxidil for a year. Let your hair grow out also to see what your really working with. See how you can style your existing hair then contact a surgeon to use minimal grafts for maximum coverage in areas that need it most. Then look at a concealer to cover the rest. Or just keep shaving it😄

Thanks for the advice, I did get a year's worth of dermarollers last year (thats microneedling right?) but few months of use showed not much benefit so gave up on that. But maybe I'll just finish up my current remaining stock while starting minox/fin as well and see if I can grow back some hair that would help make HT more amenable
Yeah it’s the same thing. I just see your miniaturized hair and don’t think you’re too far gone to make a possible come back with the drugs. Best of luck

@MazABMaybe this is a dumb question but why not let the scabs fall of naturally like you would do with other wounds?
