  1. Yeah now that I look back at pics, I can even see some very slight loss at age 27. I didn’t really notice it until about a year after these pics, then I saw it getting noticeably worse every year. By age 34 it was bad enough to be a problem and bother me. Fortunately, I didn’t seem to lose much if any hair from about age 37-41, so the combination of minoxidil and fin I started at age 39 seemed to have helped, or I just happen to hit my end results for balding.
  2. 11 years ago, I was 31 here. I had no idea my crown and hairline were thinning. I didn’t even notice it in this picture until seeing it nearly a decade later.
  3. Oh haha ok better that then a fight 😂 but now I’m following, you didn’t want to show my chunko graphs 😑
  4. I don’t understand the “pin you” comment unless you’re challenging me to a wrestling match? 😂 To me your crown looks perfectly normal, as if you’re a guy who had a full head of hair but then started to thin in the crown. What I don’t like is when people have a restored hairline and thick looking mid scalp, then a completely bald crown. Like our president has.
  5. Very possible. I have great illusion of density with my hair styled just right, despite the giant spacing between each graft. So it looks better long and combed over, but if it was cut short it would look off.
  6. Wow these are phenomenal results! You have a full head of hair. Congrats!
  7. I’m about to order some and try it out. My biggest concern is that this seems to be a very new company, I can hardly find anything about them. Also, they’re recommending using DUT topical once daily (and in some cases twice daily) but everything I’ve read on here says to only use it once a week.
  8. Thanks. Never heard of them, do you know someone who has used them?
  9. Has anyone bought from here: https://minoxidilexpress.com/product/regrowth-labs-d5a/
  10. I’m in the USA and it’s taking considerably longer. I get why, so that’s why I’m looking for another site that sells it.
  11. I ordered from fueclinic.com after a few members recommended it, but 5 weeks later and it still hasn’t arrived. I’m sure it eventually will, or I will get a refund, but I don’t want to deal with these long wait times and anxiety any time I need a refill. So who else is selling it?
  12. Yup, that’s my concern. I’ll pretty much have to order a refill 2 months before I need it, to be safe. I need to find a better place.
  13. I would email and ask for a tracking number. It should have shipped.
  14. I paid for mine on feb 16th, and it still isn’t here yet. It’s shipped about 10 days after I paid, but the tracking number shows no change since feb 26. And the shipping site is all in a foreign language (Spanish?) that I can’t get google to auto translate. So I don’t even know the status. I’ve emailed them both times and they said the company doing the shipments can take a month or more. They told me of it doesn’t arrive after 6 weeks has passed, they’d refund me or send me a new one. The person I email is info@fueclinic.com definitely not happy about it. I’m hoping that I can find someone more reliable who sells it.
  15. That’s a good point about the remainder of the scalp. I’m fairly sure my hair loss is stabilized though, but I could be wrong. I started losing hair in my late 20s, and I’ll be 42 next month. Been on fin and min for 2 years and haven’t noticed any additional loss. About to start DUT as well. But, I have an uncle who had a full head of hair until she 50 then he started losing his, so you never know.
  16. Thanks! Yes I have to constantly look at my before pics and remind myself how far I’ve come. The hair greed gets strong at times.
  17. That’s a good point, some doctors do no shave FUTs. I’d still likely have some ugly stage but reduced. I’d have about a month or two before the FUT scar wasn’t visible. And I’d risk shock loss in the scar area plus the shock loss in crown, so I could still wind up pretty ugly lol. But much less so.
  18. I think I would consider fiber and concealer for like a one off special occasion like a wedding or something. But my goal is to have hair that I don’t have to worry about at all on a daily basis. I’m hoping to achieve that with SMP, but it may mean a second HT. I feel like SMP is worth a shot since the cost is low and there’s no recovery or ugly duckling stage or waiting. It’s immediate improvement. Then worst case scenario if it’s not enough or my hair loss gets worse, I’ll bite the bullet and get another HT. At the end of the day I have to look at my before pics and remind myself how far my hair has come and be thankful for that. I had an ugly asymmetrical receding hairline and a giant bald spot that I couldn’t combover or cover with anything. Now I have the illusion of a full head of hair. I look 10 times better than before. The hair greed is real though.
  19. I don’t think I’d necessarily get a repair type HT, I think with it being my crown if I just got a lot more grafts added it would look fine. I am financially ok with a second HT, but I really don’t want to go through the whole process (shaving my head, surgery, sleeping on my back for a week, shock loss, months of ugly duckling, wearing a hat for months, etc.) Because my hair looks pretty good when styled, I was considering SMP in the crown to give the illusion of density and hide the scalp and the chunky graphs. if I wasn’t happy with my hair styled because it was too thin everywhere or I had visible problem areas, I’d get a second HT right away. But I’m having trouble justifying all the negative things i mentioned above just for some extra hair under what I have. Which is why I may try SMP first.
  20. They did take about multi-grafts or something along those lines. It did result in my crown looking more plight and unnatural in my opinion. Hence why I have known from early on I wouldn’t be 100% happy. This was all before I found this forum of course. I’ll just say the name of the place now because I’m pretty sure this is basically my final result. It was “PAI Medical Group” in Indianapolis. A chain place as I originally mentioned. I wish I had known about this forum first, but thankfully I at least got a decent result in the crown and a good result in the hairline.
  21. All very true. I definitely have enough donor for at least another FUT if not 2. Just trying to avoid all that and do SMP first.
  22. Here are a couple pictures where I pulled my hair apart deliberately to show how not dense my scalp is. It makes me upset even looking at them. But you can see the grafts are very spaced apart, and they’re in rows which makes it look even more unnatural. I think the doctor did a great job on my hairline but the crown was definitely not done as well. I’m basically forced to wear my hair kind of long (which is ok for now but not something I want to commit to for life) and also use a lot of hairspray to hold the hairs I have in place. What sucks the most is that I told them my biggest concern was the crown and to fill that first and only do the hairline if there was any hair left.
