  1. I did a surgery with Dr.Turan 20. November 2023.

He will try to help me with the problems I had with Mwmba in terms of density problems in the hairline. When it comes to the cobblestoning I got from Dr.mwamba. Dr Turan said basically after examining my scalp that due to a lot of the transplanted hair did not survive it resulted to scarring/cobblestoning.

I will post my progress and overall review with FUEcapilar Dr Turan.

you can also read more about my experience with mwamba here:

My progress at around 10 months - I had some growth and my hair is better than after the first surgery. My major concern is that I still got a lot of these stubble hairs which are not growing. Some of them got infected, so I had to tweezer them out.

    Can you share pics? :)

Hi Mate, resul yaman clinic is definitely another hair mill. when i was there in september i saw atleast 6-8 different patients during that day, they had many different operating rooms.

I have scars on the side of my head now for life, and the hair has barely grown out on top. the side of my head is very patchy and overharvested compared to the other side, for some reason one technician harvested much more than the other.

please dont make the same mistake I did, it's definitely not worth your time and effort. i only went to the doctor because it was recommended by this forum,

search for my main post and i'll update it soon

If this is true why is the clinic recommended here @Melvin- Admin
I mean like I thought we were avoiding the hair mills and the work of the technicians? How would Yaman manage 6-8 different surgeries daily if this is true?

(Edit: read the recent comment regarding 3 surgeries a day. I think is still a lot tho since you want the full focus of the surgery at that important day)

Just had mine with Pekiner 3 weeks ago Alex done my head in for a couple of months but soon as I was leaving to fly

to Ankara she was in contract alot

and soon as I got there everything ran very smooth it was worth it in the end as Pekiner was great I do not regret it

I always thought h•s  name was Alexander therefore Alex?

  5. I will listen to the advice of @Gatsby and stick to the medication at least 1 year before doing any surgery. Finasteride and minoxidil ( oral or topical - but I prefer oral) are the main one.

Pekiner from your list doesn’t work with Afro hair and he doesn’t have the device for it. I wouldn’t risk it with your hair texture.

I have seen good work from Turan when it comes to Afro hair on the Reddit from real patients and talked with them. I also went to him recently (20.November) with my afro texture.

Dr.Keser is a really good doctor but he doesn’t do Afro hair too. But my hair texture is different from yours so idk what he says on that

Dr.Yaman is a bad doctor so stay away from him.
Dr Bisanga and Feriduni are excellent doctors and I am sure they will manage your hair texture pretty well

  6. Honestly the it doesn’t look anything wrong with your pictures and looks perfectly normal.

but I never understand why people write: “cannot reveal the name of the doctor or the clinic”.
you do not owe the clinic or the doctor anything. he has no ownership over you. this is a form of syndrome that I have not understood. the clinic should be happy that you share your results here and can expose and give them potential new customers.

Yup sounds about right.  The doctors in Turkey don’t usually deal with high Norwood cases.  Dr. Yaman has a couple of high Norwood cases, but if I’m going to spend 5-6k to have a couple of sessions done in turkey, I’d rather spend the same and go to Eugenix where they specialize in this kind of thing.

all Eugenix packages have doctors that do the important channeling and hairline planning/hair design.  The only difference between the packages is the skill experience of the doctors.

the current doctor for their comprehensive package, which is their entry level, is Dr. Vinita Dubey.  I did some forum searching and she def has some cases on here, but I don’t see any high Norwood cases on the forum for her yet, maybe I’m overlooking?

in any event, I had a long conversation with their office about their methods and procedure and was blown away by even the initial contact and level of care.  It’s like pulling teeth to get a Turkish clinic to get on a phone call and give you details.

That definitely was not the case with Eugenix.  They encourage you to ask questions and implore you to really look at options before making a decision on who to go with, even if it’s not their clinic.

in any event, I’m definitely leaning more towards Eugenix at this point.  Trying to get my finances lined up to make it happen.

That is really nicee to hear. Take your time when it comes to the finances part. Don’t rush and do a hair transplant just to be finish with it. If it even takes two years to save up your money wait for it. In mean while take the finasteride and wait at least 1 year to see the effect of the minoxidil.

Dr Yaman is a hit and miss and you can’t afford it. Is worse to live a life in regret than using more money on a thing that is soo important ☺️

  8. I would have looked away from dr yaman since he is a hair mill and not so good too. Go to a clinic that is known to produce good results with the use of beard. It also looks like you have DUPA. Have you checked that out?
your donor is very limited and with your Norwood scale you have to use heavily beard grafts. Have you checked out Pittella or Eugenix

also is better for you to save money and go to a good clinic. use your time with the oral minoxidil. It takes up to 1 year before seeing the result

    @Optimistic1,

when I read the title of this topic, I automatically was thinking that you were experiencing post operative Telogen effluvium known as shock loss. However, you are already seven months in and by your description, you’ve already seen some pretty substantial growth by six months.   By the sounds of it, you were starting to really like the way your hair was looking and since there is more growth and maturation to come over the next several months, it sounds like you should be happy with your results.  But shock loss is clearly not the issue here.

Are you currently taking anything like finasteride or minoxidil in order to slow down or stop the progression of male pattern baldness? In my opinion, it simply sounds like your genetic hair loss is getting worse. And while you may have only just noticed this within the last month, it’s likely been going on this whole time. It’s just that all the last several months, you were likely experiencing a lot of newly transplanted hair growth so you were noticing the net gain while this past month… Your new growth may have slowed down giving you a chance to see that your natural hair is still thinning.

if you’re not already, I do suggest considering getting on finasteride and possibly minoxidil in conjunction which may help slow down, stop or even reverse  some of your naturally thinning hair due to genetic hair loss.  Just be sure to speak with the doctor before getting on any prescription medication such as finasteride.

    I hope this helps

Dude, if you're talking about me, I've been a member for about 1.5 years. You should be more careful.

    He is talking about @Rft

basically that comment of him above is 1 min after he made a profile and the first thing he ask about is a contact info about the doctor. I think also is sus for sure Melvin can look at his IP and see if he are located in Turkey and that stuff

This. Correct. the way de freitas does his hairline design sometimes it appears pluggy and see through. I dont know if its the rows that gives this appearance, the use of implanters or just patient characteristics

And also he produce those results while he and his techs are using a «microscope». That is weird.

the arguments against Keser not using a microscope are only valid if the results from his patients show pluggy and double grafts in the hairline as Freitas. The results I have seen here and in another spanish group have been fantastic.

It is yes! But that's the thing...I want to know the exact correspondence between them. Did the guy tell them he had 4000 grafts already taken? and he just came out of a hair transplant? Or did he just email them with photos and an inquiry about transplants without mentioning anything else that happened previously? These details are important. And for some reason, OP doesn't want to tell us where he got his first transplant from!

I understand what you mean but is not ethical to quote another 6000 grafts to a 23 years old guy who already have had 4000 grafts which appeared to be unsuccessful.

this is why I like elite doctors. They will try to preserve the donor area investigate the reason why it failed and come up with a plan for the next steps
