  1. That's what we're all tryna figure out brother, have a look at this thread here:
  2. I don't think so for the time being as it feels like they're generating as much rev as they could right now and avoiding distributor fees. Also, you have to understand that thousands of people came to their website in the span of a few days, your e-mail is one of thousands, so its an administrative nightmare.
  3. These drugs are short sequences of RNA that attach to mRNA and stop a particular gene from producing the protein for which it encodes. Antisense drugs are being developed to treat lung cancer, diabetes and diseases such as arthritis and asthma with a major inflammatory component.
  4. It's great that you're taking your post-op seriously. At this point, you have passed the most critical stages for the potential of dislodging grafts, a study showed that around 5 days your grafts are secure, it would take surgical intervention or deep injury to the skin at this point to dislodge. Continue following the guidelines closely like you have, but you can ease up some of the fears you have, its definitely okay to bend over here and there where its necessary, you don't need to stress so much. Many ppl get on flights even the following day after surgery. Goodluck!
  5. Can’t wait to hear about all the guys who will report it’s doing nothing for them after 1 application and 2 days on Reddit
  6. Yes it seems that after the initial 6 months of treatment, they're saying you would need a less frequent maintenance dose of 1x per month, but they don't base that off any literature from what I've seen. In any case it would likely not cost the full course of 100eur per month, but probably something closer to 600 eur a year
  7. What is the concern exactly? The results of the studies which took place in Germany and South Korea showed considerably safety results and that was for once a week use, where as now they're selling it for once every other week. If it's been studied and there is research behind it, and there is no way as of now for anyone to have any anecdotal information, then what merits these random ppl's fear mongering on forumns? https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-022-05544-w Nature is a reputable medical journal As for the release, it could for a variety of reasons, it is thought to be a lot easier to release cosmetic products across europe, so they took the easiest way to market and they will receive funds very quickly like this.
  8. Cosmerna is being released for sale tmr in Western Europe and the UK. Not sure where you had talked about it previously so thought I’d link you here, hopefully we have some members who get their hands on it early. https://www.cosmerna.co for members interested, they should put their email in to get notified of the release
  9. I had sensitivity in my nipples early on when I started fin, it ended up going away for me and never developed gyno
  10. I just used one and was no where close to covering my scalp. Do you think that more dutasteride is being absorbed using multiple pumps?
  11. It baffles me tbh that they didn’t consider the dosing better. The volume of one pump (recommended dose) is no where near enough product to cover the scalp. If you use more you run the risk of excessive absorption. They should have spread the dose over at least two pumps so someone can feel they’re using the product correctly
  12. I’m only just starting it, so I’m experimenting first to test how I tolerate it. If I get to the point that I can use it every day and it’s the better option, then I will switch over
  13. Shedding isn’t always a great indicator of further hair loss, people who don’t have genetic hair loss can go through periods of intense sheds. It is also based on studies not very likely that fin would have a drastic drop in efficacy at this point, however that is going to different for every individual. In terms of the dose for fin, fin has a diminishing rate of return going higher in dose, meaning that raising the dose doesn’t necessarily mean you will get additional drop in dht equivalent to the increase of the dosage. In simple terms, there isn’t much difference between 1.25mg of fin compared to 5mg for scalp dht reduction. Dutasteride is the definitely the stronger step up as it blocks a third type of conversion, however, you shoikd consider it well. Something I’m currently experimenting with is 1X a week topical dutasteride on top of fin and oral minoxidil
  14. dermatologists who specialize in hair are called trichologists so maybe you can start your search with that, however it seems to be a dying practice and most ppl concerned with this area just become dermatologists. I don't think you'll know ahead of time how specialized someone is in hair (though they should be) , but the point of the assessment is simply for someone to take a closer look at your head and family background. There isn't going to be too much they can tell you outside of what some members on here can. Hair loss is inherited from both sides of your family, and how aggressive someone's hair loss is depends on a variety of genes. But given your situation at your age, if you do have MPB, then you likely have it to a lesser extent. There are guys who start off with far worse hair than yours in high school. The point of my comment earlier was to let you know that you're starting in a good place, you should get a number of opinions so that you could understand your situation and get out of denial sooner if you have any, current day medications are good at preventing further hair loss (MPB is progressive) and to a much lower extend good at restoring hair loss. The earlier you get to it the better your chance of controlling the outcomes in the future.
  15. Hey bruv, your hair in these photos looks great and you have a full head of hair. As you will learn, we tend to fixate on what we perceive as problems rather than what is good for us. Given your family history, with your father being bald and you older brother experiencing thinning, there is enough there to suggest that you could have some degree of male patterned baldness. Imo in these photos it looks like you have a swirl on the top of your crown, and some hairs surrounding it might be a bit thinner, but again I stress that if you are experiencing any thinning, you have definitely caught this at a good time. Even people who do not experience hair loss at all will have thnning around their swirls. My suggestion is you find a few local dermatologists for an in person consultation, try to get a few opinions rather than 1 and even a good hair transplant doctor might be a good place to start (you by no means need a transplant, just an opinion on your situation). I suggest this because its important that you don't stay in denial whether or not you have MPB, the sooner you become aware of what that is the quicker you get to understanding what your next steps are. The majority of people don't detect hair loss this early on and their options for restoring their hair become marginal.
  16. curious to know too, listened to most of the poddy not sure I caught him talking about his regimen
  17. It depends on your masturbation technique, can you describe how you did it?
  18. Definitely keep going with the meds, its very early days. A study showed that finasteride's effects don't peak until about the second year
  19. Yeah definitely valid concerns. I think it will be dose dependent and eventually there will be a race to follicle delivery. Dreaming further into the future, im hoping gene editing will be the end all for hair loss. I read somewhere they successfully targeted a group of genes in mice and are able to target the area in which they’re targeting them. The derma in scalp hair follicles apparently has its own code. also did you read up on PAI-1 and the Amish subgroup that has the deficiency?
  20. HMI is licensed to Hopemed (a Chinese company) by Bayer (a German company) in order to accelerate the process of bringing it to market. The recruitment for a phase 2 trial in the US is already underway, so I'm not sure why there is so much emphasis on the company being Chinese. The first phase of HMI 115 is nearly concluded in Australia, and from some trial participant leaking some of his experiences on reddit, he said he experienced regrowth. There was a private photo circulating that he shared when he wasn't supposed to, and some of the ppl I've talked to who have seen it said they can definitely see a change. He was a NW5-6 beginning to get some regrowth, which is very exciting. As for cosmera, again, there is a research paper on it from Nature which is a very reputable medical journal, and the report showed a very low level of toxicity in the body. Of course the people trialing these things and putting up significant investments have considered all the little things you're worried about. Just randomly speculating about negatives doesn't do much, and of course these things take time, if they didn't allow time for these thigns to be tested correctly you wouldn't know what to do with them
  21. hmi is definitely the most exciting prospect, at this point now if I had a need for a transplant I’d probably hold off until hmi becomes available. Cosmera will be a good addition to a stack but I’m not convinced it can be a standalone just yet
  22. Yes, between fin, ru, and om, I’m getting maintenance
  23. The surprising thing is it didn't take long for the sides to go away given the long half life of dut, it was like 3-5 days
