  1. You did have an nice growth spurt there. Looking very good.
  2. Would stay away from Martinick! Do some research under the names of the surgeons first. There are some bad stories for Martinick. Do you even know the Thai doc doing your surgery? Sounds like your rushing into this and you most likely will regret your quick draw decision. The only Dr. i'd recommend in Thailand is Dr. Pathomvanich. Your donor hair is removed from back and placed on top, so no, it does not come back where it was taken. You only have a limited amount of donor, so use them wisely.
  3. I wouldn't take the T3, as you don't want to mess with the thyroid when battling hair loss.
  4. I'm still amazed. Next year, your might overshadow "The Greats" that everyone uses as examples. You remember Business Teacher, that guy that used to frequent this forum, well let me tell ya...
  5. I consider switching docs again. That makes no sense to me.
  6. I've been curious to see Dr. Pak's work. Please keep us posted.
  7. There was a video on here last week that had the realest looking piece being placed on and styled. Maybe have your temple points restored via FUE to make it look more natural with the new hair.
  8. Amazing! Happy for you Herr Professor, and yes, they do have a great staff over there.
  9. Only a minority of docs require a blood test.
  10. Change from last month is very noticeable too me. By month 8, I think you'll be set.
  11. If your a Va, then what are your goals (i.e. how much coverage, density are you looking for). Rassman seems to be a little too conservative for my taste (i.e. needing more than 1 session). This other doc, in Pittsburgh, I've never heard of until today.
  12. Looking good Abe! The dreaded 3 month wait is over. Each day from here on out brings more growth.
  13. BDD - Body dismorphic disorder. An unethical doctor's dream and an ethical doctor's nightmare.
  14. I believe doctors Ron Shapiro and Cooley use both techniques where appropriate in one procedure.
  15. So far the new growth is maybe a couple weeks since I started noticing some growth (the only place I would be able to tell is the hairline, due to existing hair). The front area and a patch in the mid-left top is somewhat thin. We'll see where it goes from here.

  17. I've never been wowed by Berstein, due to his conservative approach. I think the most should be done at once. Your basically giving up a percentage of your life (down time) in addition to the cost of HT. One pass max vs. 2 passes? No thanks. I'd agree w/ the 3500-3750. Honestly I'd go w/ HW or Rahal, as these Madevia/Dr. A, I've never seen their work. Also, that 30-35 cm2 would give a thin look, unless you have great hair characteristics (wavy, course, dense donor)
  18. MSM is for hair/nail health. Rumor has it that it helps hair grow faster. (Doesn't speed up the resting phase of newly transplanted graphs.)
  19. They weren't good experiences/results to me. Thumbs down. Like previously mentioned, subjective rating.
  20. With liquids, customs didn't seem too concerned with it not being in a bag, but it being over 100 mL.
  21. I list my surgeons in my signature with a rating. So, if you see butcher/Freddy Kruger as my rating, draw your own conclusions.
