Also, it'll be interesting to know why you chose Eugenix. Is it because of their previous work (or) recommendation etc. ?
Yes, I chose them cos I saw some good results online and this forum.

I’d say the only option would be to add more grafts in order to achieve more density. Something like smp in the recipient may be possible but I doubt it would give you what you want. I’ve heard with thick haired individuals double grafts can be possible in temple points but I find it odd that only one side had them. I’d Def bring these up with them if you do decide to have a touch up with them.
i find it a bit odd how a few eugenix cases where there was one guy unhappy with his donor just disappeared. So thanks for keeping us updated
I had raised this issue of implanting singles on left temple and doubles on right. I remember the exact words from Dr Sethi that ones they grow, they both will be equal. But thats not the case . I am disappointed and will be discussing this on my next call.
Thanks for your input so far.

I'm no expert, but, just like anyone else, I can compare your donor area to similar cases that have been shown on these forums. Your hair/skin contrast might reveal more of the scarring than someone who has light skin/light hair, but your donor area looks rough for the amount of grafts taken, at least to me. Also, you said you had very thick donor hair. Why would 3000 grafts make it look as if it was taken to the limit?
It also seems like you had some concerns about your procedure that you reported in the beginning of your thread that now might be more relevant in hindsight.
I can see your point about 3000 grafts and the looks of it as if I had 5000 taken out. I will be asking this to Dr Sethi during my next call.
It was too early to have concerns but its becoming more evident at this stage. Will keep you posted.

I'd be wary of letting them do a "touch up" if they didn't treat his donor area respectfully the first time.
What are your thoughts on 3112 grafts taken out from donor. Why do you think its over harvesting? Thanks

I’d say there’s still some growth to come up until 9 or 10 months but to get to where you want to be you might require a touch up. I’m guessing the docs will likely do this for you free of charge since they are trying to make a name for themselves and seem pretty ethical. You may have to cover flights tho. How are your temple points? Is one still weaker? Would be good to know what they think went wrong as well. Which package did you choose and which doctor did the extractions?
I have been very patient until now but I would like to know my options if I dont achieve the results by Dec.
My temple points are different and I had questioned this post surgery. Left side had mostly singles and right had mostly doubles and thats why right is now fuller than the left.
I chose the expensive option and Dr Sethi did the slits and Extraction was done by Dr Bansal and technicians.
Does touch up require to shave the head again? Ill be gutted if I have to go through that again.

Sorry about the result, that looks patchy and even the back of the head isn't fully recovered as you can clearly make out the grafts removed. Eugenix was referred at many forums for some good work but unfortunately they don't seem be as good as people suggested. I will let the seniors here comment about the progress and It may be worth waiting few more months before concluding anything.
Thank you for the input. Ill post some pictures below right after the grafts taken out from the donor. Bit gross but 3112 grafts from the donor were taken out. I had a very dense and thick donor area and that is why I am concerned about density where they hzve been implanted.
I hope the experts can provide their input.
I will update once I hear back from Eugenix.

7 months and 20 days
Hey folks
Hope all is well.
I just wanted to post these pictures as its 7 months and 20 days. I have contacted Dr Sethi / Eugenix and awaiting feedback.
If I am honest, I am feeling a bit disappointed with the growth at this stage. I have read in other forums that most of the hair grows by month 8 and after that its really very tiny progress and whatever is there at this stage, will mature further.
I have also asked the clinic about the scenario where I do not achieve results and gaps are still seen at month 12, what options does Eugenix provides.
I will update once I have received an answer.
Apologies if I sound negative but I want to prepare myself for all the possible scenarios.

Hi bud, It definitely looks better and sharper but it seems to be partly due to growing the hair behind longer. Did the doctor say why certain areas are responding slower than others. One of the consultants at Eugenix also had a slow result and did not have too much growth till the 8th month so might need to still wait.
Thanks bud. Yes, longer hair gives an illusion of density but still in day light, I have to wear hat or sprinkle fibres.
There is no explanation on why some areas have slow growth than others. It can be common as per other threads.
Only time will tell as Dr Sethi suggested to wait another 2 months.
BTW you have a good growth for 2 months. Keeping my fingers crossed for you

Thank you for being transparent even when your case is not an instant success in the early stages. We need more reviews like this.
Rooting for you. Also will be interesting to see your donor a bit longer.
Thanks mate. I am now checking mirror all the time and hoping to see new hair in any gaps. Only time will tell . Thanks for following my progress.

Hope everyone’s staying safe during these troubling times. I’ve had to do some traveling and take care of some urgent work. Hope everyone’s staying safe in these troubling times. Here’re a few pictures from almost the 2 month mark. It looks like I might’ve had a little bit of shock loss near the crown and on the side donor areas, specifically on the right. I’m not too worried as this should pick back up in the coming months. I did not shed fully and some of the hair you see are the unshed hair. I also see a few new hair growing out of my scalp. It’s very few at this point but I’m fairly certain that it’s hair that didn’t e it’s before.
It feels like I might be a little ahead of schedule but will be very patient and not stress if it takes a few more months. I’m taking the hair supplements which I purchased from Eugenix and still on Finesteride on alternate days. I will be getting topical Finesteride as well to add to the regimen shortly.
Hey buddy. For 2 months , its looking well. I think you will have fast growth Yes, dont stress and time will fly

In my next update I’m going to post some less flattering shots of my hairline. I think it’s important to be as transparent as possible. It’s far from perfect, but there’s still time.
I feel your frustration. Your mature, adult response has been incredible, and I hope your final result comes through. You definitely deserve it.
That said, if it doesn’t meet your expectations in the end, do you think you’ll go back for a second pass?
Trust me, you have already achieved what most would expect after 12 months and think you have been fully transparent with your updates and we all appreciate it 😊
Thanks mate. If it doesnt meet my expectations, Firstly, I would certainly would like to know the reason. Depending on that and what Dr Sethi helps/offers to get the desired results, this is something that will definitely need be discussed.
That said, there are still 5 months left to complete the year so I will keep my mentality optimistic and reserve my final review for Dec 22.
I look forward to the coming months and your next post 😀

Love your positivity, man. My guess is that’s gotten you far in life. The hairs are definitely thickening up, but it looks like the density in the first 6 rows and temple points is lagging behind still. The mid scalp and forelock have improved dramatically though. If you get a chance, it would be great to see a bird’s eye view of your hair.
Thanks for continuing to provide regular updates. Your post is a clear, honest and well documented case for the forum. Looking forward to 8 months.
Thanks mate for your honest opinion and following my progress. I will take a picture after I wash my hair as I sprinkled a bit of fibres today. Unable to go out and about still without a hat as you are right, the first 6 rows and left temple point specifically are still lagging density and its not a pretty look.
Dr Sethi suggested to wait another 2 months. Lets see what happens as only thing I can do is wait.
I am glad that you found my post honest and I hope it will help others in setting up their expectations.
Have a great weekend 😊
BTW yours is the best growth I have witnessed so far 😊

7 MONTHS TODAY ...
Hi All
im attaching a random few pics to give you an idea of different lighting etc
Dr Sethi advised me that I still have around 15 % of grafts to pop through (1000) so I’m happy about that ..
that ..along with the the expected thickening and maturing normally expected in the final few months of a year long process leaves me feeling excited for the final result ...I got an inch taken off by the barber last month but gonna take Melvins advise and grow it all out to around 4 inches and see what happens
ive attached a “Paul Hollywood “ for Melvins amusement 😊
I think I’ve got second procedure written all over me to address the crown at some point in the future ...let’s see how we are with grown out recipient at 12 months before I go down that road though
any questions /comments please fire away
Z
Great growth and looking well there 👏 😊 We both have another 5 months so a lot more can happen. As you said 1000 more probably for you will even make it denser.
Very happy for you, from where you started. Speak soon😊

Even if you get 20% more to pop from 3500 grafts thats aroung 700 badboys you've still to bring to the party..
Throw in the thickening and maturing that we all count on from months 6 onwards and its KERRRCHING!!!..
Grow out donor a smart play 👌
The waiting games a bitch... Hang in there.. all the heavy lifting is behind you.
Z
Thanks bud. I suppose, we will have to wait and see Yes, waiting is the hardest for slow growers like me.
Look forward to your 7 month update 😀

Wow that's the craziest hairline ive seen here. Looks great! Reminds me of Dr. Maras but even better imo. Look forward the final result. U still got another 6-8 months of growth. Already look way better. Little moth eaten tho in the donor but SMG will fix that dam near 100% and if u combine that with a little growth there will zero evidence of anything.
Thanks mate. Waiting for the month when the density gets better.
Yes, donor is very visible and I suppose will stay as it is. Only way would be to keep hair longer. Therefore, I wont be trimming it anymore untill 22nd Aug update.
Appreciate your feedback. Cheers

Thanks for keeping us updated, slow and steady wins the race. Its definitely an improvement, but I don’t feel its the final result yet. Dr. Sethi is a great surgeon and person, so you chose well.
Thanks for following my progress Melvin and for your feedback. Keeping my fingers crossed !!

Update- 7 Months completed today- July 22nd, 2020
Hey everyone
Hope all is well.
I am sharing my 7 month results today and even though, I am not a very patient person, this journey has somehow taught me that by being impatient nothing will change and the journey of growth will take its own time.
As you can see, the results so far are somewhat close to 65%-70% and not something I would expect but it is what it is. Mid frontal is a patchy hole right now than the rest.
I will reserve my final review for 12 month mark which will be on 22nd Dec ,2020.
I have consulted Dr Sethi and the feedback is to wait for another 2 months and to expect another 30%-35% growth during this time.
I have been very strict with my diet, exercise etc and not sure what else I can do, other than waiting. So fingers crossed as I am optimistic and I hope to achieve good results . If not in next two months , then atleast by 12 month mark.
I look forward to your feedback and any suggestions you may have.
Kind regards

I'm absolutely loving the work coming out of Eugenix, I've got my own booking with them later this year and cannot wait. Like you, I'll also be going with no finasteride so I can't wait for your next update. Really starting to come alone btw.
All the best buddy. 7 months up on July 22nd so will keep posted😊👍

It's been exactly 180 days (6 months) since my procedure. Got a fresh haircut this morning, and I'm super pleased with how things have turned out thus far. If this was my final result, I would be satisfied. There are a few areas that haven't reached maximum density and could be stronger, but I remain optimistic that these areas will fill in by month 9.
Have included some outdoor shots in direct sunlight also.
My care regimen remains the same. Honestly, I can't tell if the minoxidil is helping all that much because I still feel like I'm losing hair on my crown. Given my family history, the best I can hope for is mitigation. Perhaps I'll return to Eugenix at the 1 year mark for a quick hairline touchup and 500-700 grafts in the crown area. I definitely have a wee bit of hair greed now. 😁
Will continue to update every month. Hope you're all doing well!

Oh wow....I have never seen such a good growth. Looks like you never had a HT and you always had the hair 😃👌👌

@Fluffhead... Thanks man.. Au naturale all the way.. The times I tried waxs or creams makes it look more see through
I'm waiting for the thickening to kick in now especially needed in hairline and mid scalp.. I'm attaching some outdoor pics while out for a stroll last night.. The HT feels much better on my head v seeing it in some harsh lighting pics.. If that makes any sense 😊. Looking forward to your next update 👍
@rob7331@rob7331... Good choice if you decide on Eugenix.. Can't speak highly enough of them.. I get the impression from a lot of other clinics especially in Turkey that once you're done the Doc is hard to engage with directly Re after care queries.. In my and my other Irish friends cases any queries or questions we had were dealt with pretty much on the spot.. By the Doctor themselves.. id say Dr Arika is doing temple work in the vast majority of her procedures.. It brings that element of youth to the frame of face.. Kinda wish I did it myself but I was all out on grafts.
Good luck with whomever you choose
Z
So happy for you bud. Really good growth and you are a hope to so many in the same boat.
It also looks very natural and well done for keeping that routine of yours.
Me , you and Paddy need to catch up after a year for sure

It’s really coming through now. You can see the hairline filling in, and the temple points are looking much better. It’s framing your face in a way that was absent before. Compared with where you started it’s a massive cosmetic improvement. My guess is that in a month it will be difficult to tell you had a transplant. Also, don’t feel the donor area is as noticeable as it was before. I feel your hair skin contrast is high which has amplified it some. Has Dr Sethi remarked on this at all?
So happy to see so much progress. You’ve been a warrior of positivity through all of this. A real example for other slow growers on this board. Can’t wait for month 7. Keep it growing, man!
Thanks mate for your opinion and motivation
Dr Sethi mentioned to grow hair longer in the donor but I keep it buzzed down as it compliments with the rest. Also, I have lots of grey and dont want to use colour right now Also working from home so it doesnt bother me much.
I do see improvement myself and only in past 2 weeks. I hope this will improve further.
I really appreciate you following my progress.
By the way, your growth is phenomenal. Very happy for you
Finally did it !! 3112 grafts- Eugenix, New Delhi, India(NO FINASTERIDE)

I appreciate your feedback Nelson but I hope you can understand where I am coming from. Your growth at this stage was much better and I have some genuine concerns which I want to address for peace of mind.
Hopefully I can have a call with Dr Sethi this week to address my concerns about the growth, temples and donor.
Thank you again for your input.
