If you're a NW5 I would say you need about 4,000 grafts to have nice thick hair.
And thats assuming all your native hairs on top are gonna fall out eventually anyways, even if you use FIN and MX.
Maybe you can post pics of the back of your head so we can see what NW you are??

I totally agree. Where are you guys sourcing cB-03-01? @TorontoMan
Kane shop sells it. It comes from China: https://thekaneshop.com/product/cb-03-01-2/

Are there topical Finasteride products out there which don't contain Minoxidil? The most popular one seems to be Morr-F which is manufactured in India but it contains Minoxidil. I don't think Minoxidil does anything for me (in terms of reversing miniaturisation) other than cause an itchy scalp and some headache.

Get on topical FIN if you want to limit side-effects

Unless you've been living under a rock, I am sure you guys have heard about Breezula (CB-03-01), it seems the pharmaceutical company announced positive phase II trials. What do you guys think? Are you guys excited?
You can buy CB0301 from Kane shop: https://thekaneshop.com/product/cb-03-01-2/
Going by reviews I've read on other forums by guys who've tried its not anymore effective than any of the other antiandrogens that are out there.
Another one is S-Equol. Also not that effective.
And there's also RU58841 which allegedly causes heart problems in some people. It is not approved in EU or North-America AFAIK

Yes!!!! Thats exactly whats going on with my head right now.
I have a lot of hairs growing on my left side of the scalp, but considerably less on the right side.
This is normal. Somebody even wrote a thread on this phenomenon:

Got 1 bad review on google maps:
2 years agoTotally unrealistic results. I went to this office on April 2016 for a hair restoration treatment. I decided to visit this clinic because they offered a different solution to FUT and FUE neo graphs. They advertised on the internet that they have a special formula which consists of a PRP + EMC injection treatment that can regenerate your hair. They said that the treatment will last for a minimum of 3 years to a maximum of 5 years. As of today, it has been exactly 28 months after I started the treatment and this is how my hair looks today. I have less hair now than what I did when I when there. I have attached some images of me for you to see how I look before and after 28 months. Before I went to this clinic, I was taking minoxidil twice a day using rogain, I was taking a bunch of vitamins for the hair including biotin and saw palmetto, I was also washing my hair with special shampoos and conditioners and I was also doing the laser treatment with a device I bought out of ebay 3 to 4 times a week. When I finished the treatment for my hair, I was advice by the doctor not to take anything else for the hair because any other products could have a negative impact on the treatment on my hair and he also said he wanted me to see the progress of the treatment and how it will work on my hair so I stop everything. The reason why I went there is because I didn’t want to do any of those things anymore. I was taking too long every day and I was spending a lot of money on all those products. I wanted a semi permanent solution. That’s how I found out about the hair restoration. The treatment did work but for a very short period of time. For the first 3 months, I was shading a lot of thin hair. After 9 months I was somehow fuller but not even close to what this clinic shows you in their sample pictures. After a year, my hair started to fall again so I decided to give it a little more time to continue working and see if there were any more positive results. From there it has only gotten worse. The doctor told me that the bald spor in my back was going to be covered and that never happend. Most of my close friend were very concerned that I spent $5000 USD for this treatment and I look like this. Some of them have spent only $3000 including airfair to get their hair treatment done in turkey which includes maximum neo graphs, hospital stay and also the + the PRP treatment included and they are looking like movie starts and me, I have to still wear a hat after spending almost double as they did. I was very afraid of the FUT treatment but after reading about the neo graphs I think I will give that treatment a try. I have found 4 to 5 different doctors abroad that I proven to deliver good results. There is a lot of bad talk about some of the results that people get in turkey and that's why I decided to regenerate my hair instead of the transplant. But after seen my friends results, It is hard to argue. My friends hairline is so dense and beautiful. He even pulls his hair. Me, I con my hair to the side in order to hide my ball spots in the front and the back. The reason why I write this review is because I know how you feel. You have the biggest hope just like I did. I'm just letting you know my personal experience. It took me 6 months to get some volume of hair in my head. That volume only lasted an extra 6 months and after than it all went downhill. With $5000 USD I would have gone to Turkey 2x times with all my expenses paid (air fair + hotel + transportation + PRP + after treatment care). Also, another hair doctor told me that instead of paying $5000 for one PRP + ECM treatment. It would have been more beneficial if I did 10 session of PRP only at $500 per session. Anyways, I already made my mind. I can't argue with my friends anymore. They are so confident now and I hide under this freaking hat. I can't take it anymore -
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but can a hair transplant ever be finished really early??
Like say in 6 or 7 months or so?? (instead of the usual 12 months)

I dont think you need an HT yet. You still have pretty good hair.
I would give the meds more time

I’m actually saddened you haven’t done research about our forum, and have instead chosen to listen to this “so-called” guru. Look at @miko thread about asmed, is that positive? @sunnybadhair about bhatti is that positive? We have removed both of these based on bad reviews. We have been sued on MULTIPLE occasions, it’s public record. Do not post junk like that here.
I have always been curious how many fake reviews are written by competitors to put a certain clinic in a bad light

Would it help with growth if a person were to get another PRP treatment after about a month from their FUE HT that included PRP?
I'm not 100% sure, but I dont think that would make much difference.
Your scalp is still healing so I would leave it alone for a few months

I'll be following this closely. What was the $ per graft he charged? HST as well?
$6 per graft for FUE. I dont know what he charges for FUT

PRP can be an excellent treatment if your hairloss is at its beginning stages and not very noticable yet.
Keep in mind you have return for additional treatments every 4 months or so, otherwise hair starts falling out again

For what its worth, this guy got a very good result going to DHI in Geneva for HT#1 and DHI in Brisbane for HT#2:

I’m 40 and am a Norwood 2 I think. My hairline has receded though since I was 26 and most of the doctors quoted between 1500-1800 grafts. One quoted 2000 grafts. That would be to fill in the temples and lower my hairline slightly. My crown is totally fine
In that case I would just go with a small 1,700 graft FUE.
Consider yourself lucky btw, that you're not a dreaded NW 6 or NW7.
You should have tons of donor left after your first transplant

I like the style of your hair just sticking straight up. Similar to the style I want.
I was under the impression that Dr. Jones had retired and had a younger surgeon take over his practice
You mean Dr. Huber?? He currently works alongside him. I think he started off as his apprentice, but he hasnt taken over his entire practice yet. I assume that'll happen at some point though as Dr. Jones is pushing 60 and probably wants to retire soon
