  1. Dear @karsri, His schedule for the States has not been finalized. However, we shall be informing through this very same forum for the same when scheduled. Regards, Eugenix Hair Sciences
  2. Dr Pradeep Sethi of India is in United Kingdom, London and Manchester for next few days. He would be happy to meet people who would like to have a meeting in person with him over a cup of coffee. The following numbers can be contacted for scheduling the meeting. 1. Amit : +44 7988 203749 2. Dr. Narender Sharma: +44 7719 572528
  3. Thank you for your post and appreciation! We have collected some more pictures from his social media. You can have a look at them. However, we shall post clear pictures when he comes to meet us.
  4. The resolutions are really of poor standards. (The case was done in 2012-13, after two years of our first hair restoration surgery in 2010 February 28.) We choose to post this case to declare that if right kind of instrumentations are used then a lot of grafts can be extracted, planted and grown. More the number of grafts ( if handled well during extraction and plantation), better the chances of covering larger areas with cosmetically acceptable density.
  5. The efforts of 2.5 years and the ultimate results changed the life course of the patient as well as his doctors (me and my wife). He entered into his childhood dream passion, movies and stage singing. His gratefulness and blessings are beyond measure. His doctors (we), realised that they should be doing only one thing, so that they can give the best out of them in one thing. They parted with rest of their dermatology and cosmetic practices of 5 years, which was quite established. With their one pointed focus they are happy that they are producing life changing results which gives a lot of gratification. If they would have been doing many cosmetic procedures then they would have become mediocre of themselves.
  6. At the outset, sorry for lack of a great HD pic of the crown! As I have mentioned earlier, the patient has entered into entertainment industry and is not willing to show up and reveal his bald past to the directors and his current peers. I have managed to pull out one screenshot pic of his back from one of his short movies. I will definitely take a good pic of his crown and post once he pays me a visit in near future.
  7. Dear Melvin, I am sorry, I don't have the video! The patient has entered into entertainment industry so unwilling for a public show up.
  8. The picture qualities are not upto the current standards due to them being from the old stock. Sharing one old patient of 2012-13. An extreme case of baldness with poor scalp donor approached us in 2012 with expectations of a complete full head with hair. He already had a procedure of 2000 odd grafts from another clinic. He wanted to be double sure that we can grow good hair, so he first asked us to do 2000 chest grafts. (His chest hair were unusually very robust!) Most of these 2000 hair grew in 6 months and he developed confidence in us and went for 5000 grafts (4000 beard and 1000 scalp). After 6 months he went for another 5000 grafts (4500 beard, 500 scalp), to enhance the density and lower the hair line. After one year he went for augmenting the hairline and enhancing the density in some areas with another 2500 grafts (1500 from beard and 1000 from scalp). So, in total he has received 16,500 grafts over 2.5 years ! The facial scars are hardly visible, due to the very sharp, small punches and a rapidly healing skin of the face. Note: The patient had a dream of being on stage in acting and singing. Due to baldness he was lacking confidence and was avoiding the social gatherings and was withdrawn. He had made up his mind to do a complete job and he knew that he has got a great unusual beard and wanted to donate every beard hair for a great coverage of the scalp. Ultimately he has got a hairline and density of his desire and now he is living his passion and doing movies and enjoying a great singing career as well.
  9. @PlzRespond It is always better if the remission period is very long. I mean if it is more than 5 years then it is very good. If it is 2 years then it might be unpredictable in terms of disease reactivation.
  10. Thank you dear @Melvin-Moderator for reviewing the case and appreciating the job. It is only 6 months post procedure. He has grown many but still there are at least 20-30% more hair to grow. The final outcome would be much better. Yes, once the hair has grown, anything can be done upon the surface. That won't affect the hair growth.
  11. No, not all were below the neckline. We know how to extract the beard grafts above the neckline and going into the cheek and the side locks. Soon, we will be posting cases where we have taken grafts mostly from the beard. Experience over thousands of cases of beard extraction with smallest and sharpest punches ensures a very minimal "technical" scar on the face which most patients can carry without any issue. In the index case, we have also taken from side locks. In ageing skin, due to skin laxity, the tiny scars become non noticeable. It is only 6 months for the scars. The scars would be remodelling till 1 year. Please find the pics of the beard extraction and follow ups in sequence: Pic 1: Immediately after the first procedure, 2500 grafts were extracted. Pics 2 and 3: After one month of the extraction. Pics 4, 5 and 6: Immediately after extraction in second sitting, 1500 were extracted Pics 7 and 8: After 2 months of first sitting Pics 9 and 10: After 6 months of first sitting
  12. @JohnCasper Thank you for your kind words. The patient gained confidence and has a very liberated attitude towards life itself.
  13. @BjornBorg It has definitely also made us feel very fortunate that she gave us the opportunity to perform the procedure for her. She has been a great source of encouragement for us. She has been happy with her results and she is not looking to go for another procedure.
  14. Thank you so much for your extremely kind and humbling words. From the very first day you wanted us to be in the forum recommended list. Somehow we were busy in our work and timing was not correct. Now with all your encouragement and support of Melvin and Bill we got recommended. We will keep posting the great and interesting cases in regular basis. Once again, thank you all for the motivation, help and support. @Melvin-Moderator, @Bill - Managing Publisher. We vow to work more harder from today upon each case, document well and contribute to the science.
  15. Thank you for your encouragement. We shall definitely provide more scientific results for everyone to view.
  16. Mr Anup Jalota is a 65 year old celebrity singer in India. He was wearing a wig for many years. He had one procedure done 7 years back. Over all the donor was very depleted and the hair quality was poor due to senile thinning. Close to 5000 grafts were planted in the first sitting over 2 days. Around 2500 grafts were extracted from scalp and another 2500 were extracted from the beard on two consecutive days. The posterior aspect of the transplanted area had a mixture of scalp and beard grafts. Another 2000 odd grafts were planted on the crown area after one month, 500 scalp ones and 1500 beard ones. So, a total of 7000 grafts were planted. Astonishingly, most of the grafts started growing straight away with out the initial expected telogen effluvium! (Though we experience this in many patients. Some percentage of grafts they grow straight away. This is due to the DHT concept of FUE we practice, wherein the grafts are planted within few minutes of extraction. We also ensure least root handling by using dull needle implanters in the premade slits.) In this index case we also used trumpet punches which ensured some extra tissue around the follicles. The extra tissue gave the cushion to the nearly friable thin grafts. A remarkable growth was seen by 3 months and a great appreciable growth was seen by 6 months.
  17. Thank you dear one for your continued trust. Like the first one, this one would also give you a great outcome in terms of growth, coverage and naturalness while maintaining the cosmesis of the donor area.
  18. I think the folds are not enough in the dimensions of sulci and gyri to be called as CVG (Cutis Verticis Gyrata). (Attached are few pics of CVG. It can be more read in PUBMED.) You are right all who wear turbans don’t develop this necessarily. In this case, there were no internal cranial complains or problems. So was not traced deep. It has also improved. I will try to capture the pic when he returns back. (Though it will be difficult to do that with long hair!) Thank you for appreciating the case.
  19. Thank you for your appreciation. We just started posting our cases. We have been doing hair transplants since 2010, and doing exclusively only hair restoration since 2013. We have documented most of our cases well and there are many who are very interesting. We will keep posting the cases.
