Dr. Nadimi pretty much said with where my donor was when I came in, it's pretty much extract a safe amount now, and see how it grows in (which I though was respectfully honest). As opposed to Diep who said I have more than 6000 donor if need no problem. I'm thinking of using neck/beard hair for next FUE - pending some research...

Oh really... does Konior/ Nadimi do beard transplants etc as well?

  2. It definitely wouldn't work at that length with an FUT, the strip scar would be way too visible for your liking I'd say bro, best to look at the best FUE surgeons and even then you'd be like at a 1 or 2 guard on the sides, it's just what to expect after a HT, you have the right look for a receding hairline anyway man, so don't stress it too much, do what makes you happy too though!

  3. I have been using fin for about 5 years and also minoxidil for around the same time. When it comes to minoxidil I found that it does act as a hair thickener as Bill alluded to, I think with consistent prolonged use it can slow down the progression of balding, similarly to how fin does as well. I am quite worried at the moment actually because I am finding for the last year or so my hair has continued to fall out and thin even though I am using both of these, I really don't know what to do... I really want to halt or slow down my hair loss before doing my HT so that I don't just progressively worsen after my HT... any tips or advice of what I can do guys? Would be much appreciated... I might make a thread about it actually.

He is on FIN now, which should slow down the process.

Yeah I'm on fin and have been the last 5 years, it does slow it down but it will still end up falling out, I have been sifting through this website for months now and I am yet to see a person who has managed to really halt their native hair falling out, I would love to hear from someone who has, I'm gathering that these HT's just end up giving us a few extra years of the illusion of a full head of hair.

No need to get defensive. Your original post came off like an ad. And people want to see hairlines to evaluate results, not comb forwards, which cover the hairline. It looks like you're hiding something. And not sure why after getting a good result, you'd want to sweep the hair forward and hide the hairline. Show it off, man.

Exactly, your original post comes off like an ad so don't jump down our throats because of our reactions. Lend more credence to the legitimacy of your HT or accept some of the reactions.

  6. So I've been on fin for about 5 years, I started with Proscar but in New Zealand it got discontinued so the only ones we are prescribed by our GP's are generic brand fin called "Ricit". Since the switch a few years ago I've shed a lot more hair and I noticed one time when I travelled oversea's and didn't have my fin that my hair really thinned until I jumped back on. I wish there was a conclusive study on this.

Looks really clean and very (!) dense. Amazing to see 2500 FU with this hair diameter in such a small area.

Hasson does the highest level of dense packing in the world from what I see, especially with your ridiculous hair caliber and number of grafts in a smallish area should be close to perfect. You're probably his idea of an ideal patient.

+1 one Jean's comment. But this makes me wonder even more: Why did Baubac cancelled on you? Did you recide much more after your fist meeting with him? Or was it the first time he has seen your case and you have been in contact with a advisor only before? A 37 year old with your hair and just starting FIN. What else do you want as a clinic?

    — thanks jean , it is pretty dense packed .. doctor hasson said he can go even denser , ultra dense pack .... The implanters took a lot of hours to pack them in there .. took almost all night ...  I still had a lot of native hair behind the hairline .. so he had to match the density of my native .. but my native hair is kinda thin . , I can tell they will get thinner in a few years ..

    - hey gas, doctor bauabc canceled on me at the last minute after looking at my pictures again .. he knew I was going to recede some more .. so 1200 grafts to the hairline wouldn’t do me any good 2 years later .. so he wanted me to stay on Propecia for the full year n see how I respond .. I could either maintain , or recede more . N yep .. one year later I definitely receded more .. now I need 2200-2500 grafts .. I thank him in my heart , for canceling on me .. I would be chasing my hairline right now .. n be worse off than before . :)

n I also wanted to thank many of the members here for telling me to not get a HT at that time , Since I was just starting to recede . . my hair loss wasn’t bad enough at norwood 2 .. now it’s almost a 3 .. this was a good time for me to get one, should make a nice benefit..

doesn't this just mean you will be chasing your hairline from here on anyway? I ask because I'm in a similar situation to you, is the HT just to give you a few extra years before the thinning shows again?

  8. Hi Mike, first of all I bet this looks like a great result in the front by now, he really packed it in... to be honest he really did a terrible job with the punch sizes he used on your donor though. At the back of your head it looks like you have an FUT scar and on the side it also looks like a linear scar that was sutured at some point. I really hope this healed up for you over this last year...

Is there any correlation between Dr Dieps great hairline results and his butchering of the donor zones with these oversized punches or no? I'd like to know because I am really considering him but not if he does this to so many donor zones.

there is no real solution other than another surgery but I don't want to do that. That surgery was a bitch. I might just shave my head at this point

oh and hope and pray my results come in next 6 months...but for 6 month mark, my results are atrocious

You literally just did what I said you would, you're a troll buddy, good luck with that. The fact you don't even want to contact the clinic to talk to them about your options tells me you have real issues, spent all that money but don't have the balls to contact someone you consider a "nice nice man". This is a troll. Grow up.

    Hopeless.

  10. After a quick skim over this thread I'll say this... this guy reminds me of someone who has issues with not being very bright. His base instinct is just to complain and worry but when you guys bring up his options (contacting the clinic who did the transplant, posting chronological before and after pics, etc etc etc) he literally ignores 90% of the advice and continues to complain. Stop being trolled guys.

As for you mate, stop having such female characteristics and listen to the advice you are receiving. Calm down, take a chill pill, and start understanding that a lot of the people on this forum you are talking to have vast knowledge and experience about this sort of thing. It's not our faults that you went to a surgeon that isn't considered one of the better ones. If you have the natural density you claim to have you will be lucky that this horrible result can probably be somewhat fixed by another surgeon. If you want to look at getting that done first follow up with your current surgeon, explain that it's just a terrible result and you either want a refund or some short of secondary procedure. I would feel genuinely sorry for you if it wasn't for the fact that I have yet to see you take anyone's advice in this thread. So put your big boy pants on and find a solution to the situation, there have been a few suggested in here. Stop complaining but doing nothing.

Scheduled with Dr Vila early 2019 who worked with Dr Lorenzo for nine years and did his transplants, has set up her own practice in Madrid a few months ago. I’ve been told that 78-80 grafts cm2 is completely unrealistic. I sort of agree as my donor area is currently 80.

Awesome mate, good luck and keep us posted
