Sounds like you've been won over by the price. I'm shocked you'd still go there after reading that the technicians handled money and then continued to work on the scalp. That alone would be a no from me, if you ended up with an infection you could lose all the grafts. Anyways if you go there be sure to leave an honest review

Dr Erkans assistant emailed back after I sent a video showing my hair better. He thinks 2700-2800 grafts to hairline, and reinforcing the middle front area as well as my current hairline. The rest of the grafts going to the crown. Ive emailed back expressing concerns with the crown grafts and may just leave the crown for now. The assistant did mention being careful around existing hair so as not to cause further loss, so maybe I am worried over nothing? In the mean time ive ordered a derma stamp as opposed to a dermaroller as the roller makes my hair tangle and I think i will stick better to using a stamp. Im gonna try it every day for 6 months and see if it makes any difference, cant really do much else with regards to non surgical options. The silver lining is if I opt for crown grafts at a later date, the recovery wont be as bad. Since after a shaved head i'll at least have a normal hairline growing back during the recovery stage.

Also OP can you post some pics of your crown as everyone says its a bad idea to get grafts there if you have full coverage but low density. You risk permanent shock loss on the crown and end up replacing the shock lost roots with transplanted hairs so it ends up looking pretty much the same. You should be on fin, minox and dermarolling to combat this anyway

This doctor has a huge record of excellent work. Age is not an indicator of skill level, very ageist thing to say tbh.

I guess Ill leave the crown then and maybe get a hairline transplant. Still on the fence about the whole idea. Mainly due to the time it takes to get the result. The crown isnt too bad depending on how I style it, just look at the difference combing it forward makes. It looks like the difference between no crown transplant and a crown transplant lol.

I Was thinking 2500 for hairline and 1000 into the crown? Since the crown is thin anyway, the roots there are hanging in by a thread, even with long term fin and minox. Surely 1000 donated grafts into the crown will look thicker than 1000 miniaturised roots? Not that it is a strait number for number swap since Im sure SOME will survive.

Good but how do you deal with the thin crown? Dont you worry about people seeing it?

If you feel you have a legit reason to be unhappy then any surgeon worth his salt should fix it for free. That said I cant see an issue at all. To the normal person they would never notice something so tiny, it is your own obsession IMO.

Video of my hair: Erkan says 3000-3500 to fill both hairline and crown. Dr Ball says 1500 grafts to fill just hairline. HDC clinic says 2500-3000 for just the hairline. 3 completely different opinions this research is driving me crazy. There must be some pro's on here and past surgery patients who can give me a decent plan and maybe a decent surgeon. Also, do most surgeons reinforce the natural hair as well as just filling in the hairline and temples? I have held what I have for 6 years at least but im only 27.

So Dr Demisoy emailed me back and said I need 3000-3500 for the hairline and crown total. Which is reasonable at 1.25 euro per graft. What do you think? Im considering either him or the guy in Cyprus, Dr Maras if I recall.

Interesting thread. Wonder if the OP had surgery yet. Im considering Cyprus as the prices are better than Erdogan and the results look better too

Have you considered Dr Maras in Cyprus? Very good results and supervises every step also.

Goes to show spending double or triple that amount doesnt produce any better results.

Save up why? High price doesnt mean better results. I could list an old t shirt on ebay for £1000, doesnt make it any better than a £5 one.

Why does it? You talk like they are just some bums off the street. The techs are trained and have been doing it over and over again for years.
