  1. safe to assume this picture was taken under harsh lighting?  harsh lighting always makes hair look thin

If your hair looked like this under regular lighting then it makes sense to take the plunge; 700 grafts doesn't seem much but your doctor has posted some great results in the past. Maybe the quality of your 700 is so good that it'll do the job #Spartan700

After getting a hair cut today and deciding to do a 2.5 month update, I was feeling pretty depressed overall about my transplant and wondering if things are on track. I saw your comment on my thread and went to look through your story.... and WOW! At 2 months, you donor area, transplant and electrolysis looked just like mine! Amazing results at 7 months and gave me a lot of hope for my own results. Time to move on with life for sure, I hope to get to that point as well, thank you for posting your results.

2.5 months is way too early and unrealistic; give it time..right now your expectations are your worst enemy.. distract yourself for a few months (easier said than done)

  3. @HairsHopingis only about 7 days out from his procedure. Give him the time to heal. Putting negative comments out there doesn't help him nor will it inspire him or others to post. What's done is done so be supportive of the patient. Everyone who has had a procedure typically has a roller coaster of emotions.. did I go to the right doctor..did I get enough grafts.. did I sleep the right way.. am I taking enough precautions.. the list is endless. Most patients won't find support from knowledgeable ppl in their real lives so they come here for support. So as members on this board, give him the support he needs now and the support he will need over the months to come.

  4. Yesterday marks  exactly 52 weeks since I was in the chair. Time really has flown by. I don't obsess over my hair like I used to. I don't wake up at odd hours of the night trying to style my hair to cover the thinning areas. I'm not as nervous as I used to be standing in well lit rooms or even have pictures taken of me.

Today I had to have a photo taken in front of some bright lights; to see a comparison of before I have attached a picture from Nov 2016 when I had to do a presentation.

Once in a while there are thoughts of hair greed that have come across my mind but after seeing this pic from Nov 2016 and today's then those desires go away. I'm very happy with how things are looking. I don't take any meds so there is always that fear one day I may need more work but for the moment I'm going to continue enjoying these results and living life.

**I'll try to post better resolution photos shortly; I just realized the resolution from zooming in and cropping these ones aren't the best but hopefully you can see the differences**

Already a big improvement and I think you have a lot more thickening and improvement to come - I usually notice a good amount of improvement for most guys between beginning of month 8 and month 10 and then some more gradual improvement from month 10 to month 12.

Quick question though, if it is day 238 then doesn't that mean you are in week 34 not week 38? If so, then that means you are even earlier in the process than you thought

Sorry for the late response; haven't been on here that much. Shame on me for my poor math; you are correct; picture was taken on week 34 not 38. I am coming up to 12 months on July 17th. Haven't seen my scar yet so will take and upload pictures of that as well as how things have gone

So Seesaw know its super early but how your progress going so far ?

Been searching around flights looks like your right about July and August peak season you have to wait till Sept to see prices drop down to under $1000

Not looking forward to that 20hr plane trip for sure.

    Hey Markee

I can help you with flight info (a hobby of mine is flying and helping family book tickets)

What city are you flying out of?

You mentioned you owned a business; safe to assume you use a corporate credit card that has accumulated any points? DM me and I can give you a few quick options. Travelling on points = more cash in your hand for your procedure
