Patient should have never been accepted as a candidate. Bad scalp to hair color contrast, low caliber of hair thickness, history of not tolerating Fin, severely compromised donor with advance NW7 pattern and sever retrograde alopecia, wide head meaning a larger number of grafts needed compared to someone with a smaller head.
Eugenix accepts patients that other Dr's who specialize in high NW cases would likely turn away. Even worse, they accepted him for surgery with Dr Das who is not known for handling extreme high NW cases. Seems that they prioritize financial gain over the interest of their patients. Really shameful.
Eugenix were by far the most pushy for me to have a transplant with them. Kept emailing me back in January 2022. Didnt like there approach tbh.
For example my consults with Zarev & Pittella they were not pushy at all.
Zarev even was hinting at waiting a bit longer since my hairloss is diffuse but not so bad yet but enough for a small enough procedure

Not much of a difference between them. Just that Zarev can get more scalp grafts.
Pittella is more aggressive he quoted me 4000 grafts(online consult) in my consult & to lower hairline.
Zarev 2300 leave hairline just thicken thin areas & 150 grafts about in each temple peaks.

I think that Melvin is right.
oral minxodil + minoxidil 15%+duta injections+fina+ dermoroller + prp and I think u will keep (or improve) your hair for yearsI cant use finasteride.
I use oral min 2.5mg plus topical minox. Working well at the moment. We will see how that does long term.
I wont be a big recovery like many on this forum but my goals are to stregthen thin areas & to improve my temple peaks which will make a nice difference.
Wont be lowering my hairline but may get some grafts around there. Will see next november

Bisanga can't get that many grafts from the donor area. Its why he is conservative about taking on patients not on meds or not an excellent donor.
His punches look too big. He gets brillant growth though

Eugenix and a lot of other clinics heal donor fine and quickly too etc, but they are not that way inclined to go beyond the typical safe zone, thats the main difference tbh, I am not saying he isn't great as he is, but he is just willing to do what looks best overall for both donor and head in general
Not true. Look at Bisanga,Freitas Eugenix they all go high up in the donor area.
Look at Zoomster & Gatsby they took from high in there donor
12,138 Grafts (hairtransplantation.bg) great example not much different from Gatsby except zarev gets 12k from scalp.
Its way ahead of anyone else that is a bad donor & small as well
Freitas Extraction
Bisanga extraction
Zoomster
all no different to Zarev arguably they rest go closer to the lateral humps

@mtb I remember originally in your posts you have a total of 12k grafts available.
But you know have an extra 2.5k because your scalp healed so well.
Its just remarkable Zarev's technique its obvious it causes far less trauma resulting in more grafts available.

the density when those 3600 grafts grow in will be amazing.
looks like plenty left in your donor if needed in future too option of short hair on side if necessary
-
hairline is so natural.
I wouldnt think you had a transplant is seeing you in person

Search Pittella on here his results are incredible tbh
@mtb results will perfect too when the 2nd grows in will be as good as Hugo imo

Looking good.
Your donor looks very thick.

Your donor looks really good. Obviously, consult with H&W, Pittella, Dr. Sethi and Dr. Bansal, Zarev, Hattingen. These are the top clinics for high Norwoods.
Zarev probably not realistic for people now. Only off schedule available now at 9euro per graft. His on schedule is suspended now.

still 3 months more for the crown as well.
Donor looks excellent too.

10 days post op donor and real life pics. No pain almost at all the whole time except when I’d accidentally bump my head. I’ve completed all meds and no longer need to use the antibacterial soap. Starting his minox and .1 mg topical fin today. Swelling was much less than first procedure and gone after 5/6 days. Will post Dr Zarev’s office pics when he sends. I’m guessing 4-5 months until everything he implanted comes through really strong, based off of first procedure.
Its great u don't have to shave
Can enjoy the 1st result while wait for more density
I'm for sure going for the no shave approach

the donor looks very good as well

Yeah, not going to rush SMP that's for sure. But ultimately I expect I'll want to use it in combination. If I can get to a sufficient level of overall redistribution that I'm happy with, then I might be able to get SMP all over to work in tandem with the more homogenous look. But I don't think we're there yet.
I'm not sure mtb's starting point is that much better than mine, to be fair. I'm not sure whether you want to call each of us NW6 or NW7 but either way there doesn't look like too huge a difference from starting point.
I'm not sure either if Zarev would have ever taken me as a patient at starting point. But I think if he had, his strategy would have been consistent with his other cases in which he is meeting the boundaries together.
If just think at this point I will need to get to 10,000-12,000 total grafts moved too before I am fully satisfied with the redistribution. But I will want extractions to be taken right up to the sharpest boundary of hair loss and even down into the nape area, which Zarev goes pretty low into.
wow great analysis. Yeah quite similar. Zarev really would have ideal for your case imo.
Your head looks smaller as well so maybe less grafts for full coverage

i wouldnt do smp you dont have enough hair in the crown.
your comparing yourself to mtb but he is a nw6 your a nw7 and much worse donor.
im not sure for example Zarev would have taken you as a patient tbh.
your results so far are quite decent and it wouldnt be a surprise that you need a 3rd surgery
-
i was thinking you had more grafts left
that sgreat you didnt need to cut short.
Your hair will look incredible in 9 months
Did you lower the hairline?
-
Dr Pittella's results on here (Patient one's as well ) posts all his sugeries on instagram.
He is right up there alongside Zarev imo.

DHT in most cases don't reach the donor area\safe zone, however NW7 and some NW6 candidates should be diagnosed if the potential exists (most certainly with NW7).
Additionally many men can experience difused thinng on their 50's and onwards.
I experienced side effects with Propecia pills, so in the last 2 years I switched to topical formula of Finasteride mixed with Minoxidil without side effects.
You lose a bit of hair in your donor as you age even without MPB
-
4-6 months is the biggest growth period
3-4 isn't that much so no need to panic
I'm sure you will have a great result. Donor looks very good for a possible nw7

Hair loss fixing is very important for me.
My goal is too always have 50k in savings at all times in my life
Never like to drop below that amount
-
Brillant result
I think if you had your hair flat it would look even better
Easily could say you don't require a 2nd transplant but after the next one you will be 100% cured
Insane how far ahead Zarev of the rest
