Guys got Dr Saifi to shave off the remaing hair.
It was very strange seeing it but with my beard stubble I now look like extra out prison break lmao.
Will get proper images when I get back. Again this was done today at my 2nd aftercare session. Anything I have asked he did it no extra cost guys during aftercare that says it all really.
Looks very good.
Lots of grafts left in the bank as well.

@hairmain22
i didnt read that right if that is the results of CRlab products and dr saifi says they are amazing that is WOW some difference well done.
I just order 3 months worth and DHT patch etc
It is the CR Labs plus the Hair Max.
Procepia maybe stopped further loss I don't know. I am not suing it now since August.
But it did not improve my hair. the CR labs treatment improved my hair within a month.
-
So you did visit him for a consultations(s) beforehand?
Those pictures are JUST from CRLab stuff? Wow
I was using Procepia for 2 years before it didn't do much for my hair. I am not taking that since August. So I may lose some hair if it kept any but I will be using the patches.
I had the trichotest before my 1st transplant . I had no consultation before my 1st transplant. I started it a year later as I thought procepia would do.

hey guys, thanks for the replies.
I am also wondering the same thing Tullynagardy but it seems from the replies that the doctor doesn't do a hard sell for the products. I have replied to Dr Saifi asking if its his preference for me to go there for a consultation before booking. Haven't received the reply yet but I will try and avoid two trips.
I don't see a problem per se that the doctor will want your scalp in a good condition pre surgery but I just wonder why we don't see any other clinics doing this. Also, where is the evidence?
hairman22 - Are you able to share with us how much these products are?
One more thing. I am a norwood 6 and the doctor has recommended 2500 grafts now and around 1500 a year down the line on the crown. I don't ever see Dr Saifi doing more than 2500 in one op. I believe he is ethical but maybe too conservative? Even Bisanga has recommended 4000+ grafts for me.
Maybe had some shock loss in 1st pic.
About 200-300 Euro for the shampoo's & Patches. 3 months supply
The Laser Comb is 500 Euro too.
There very expensive but they work.
1st pic June 2017.
2nd pic August 2017.
2 months using laser. 1 months using shampoo's.

I was skeptical of CR Labs.
Saifi first mentioned them 1 year ago to me but was not pushy about it.
But a year later my existing hair disimproved & he was more insistent I should use it.
It is costly but after 2 months it has done much more for my hair than propecia did.
I recently just stopped propecia due to sides too btw.
The CR Labs is not Saifi's products he just endorses them.
-
Did you have the second one done because the first result was not dense enough? Everything I have seen/read suggests he is a very ethical doctor, but he appears ultra conservative with the number of grafts he uses. Would you recommend him?
I had a 2nd one to improve density.
I would 100% recommend him. Great staff & results. I was happy with my 1st transplant just wanted some more grafts for density.
-
Looks very good.
I have had 2 transplant with Saifi & he likes to not use a huge amount of grafts.
The CR Labs programme he recomends has been great for my hair.
-
Even before SMP u pull off a bald head very well.
The SMP looks brillant though. Great work.
-
I started lifting heavy after my FUE's after 7 days.
No problems at all.
-
I have not heard of anyone having sexual side effects from using topical finasteride and at the same time there really has not been many guys talking about it within these online communities.
The key is inhibiting DHT otherwise the progression of MPB will continue on.
Does topical fin work & where can u get it?
the CR Labs has Havogen 5 patches which inhibits DHT naturally.
-
Dr Saifi in Poland is very good.
Had 2 FUE's with him & am very happy with his work.
He gets good coverage without using alot of grafts so he is good for a young patient as is wary about future loss & preserving donor.

1st pic 4 weeks post op June 2017
2nd pic 2 weeks post op
3rd pic today 2 months post op. Hair is under light there so looks worse but I am unsure I have enough grafts for vertex plus mid scalp.
Here is my hair now.
Very happy with the improvement.
Hopefully I can maintain without Procepia for a few years.
still have grafts to grown in too 1300. Around hairline,in middle & Vertex.
-
Can you talk to your doctor about the possibility of using a topical finasteride product?
My doctor believes I will retain hair using the CR Labs programme. He is not a fan of finisteride because of the side affects.
Does topical fin work & does it cause sides?

Just hope that is temporary shock loss and theres no donor minituarisation. How much time will take to know what it is?
Usually the donor is shaved so the initial shed is not that noticeable as it is on you as the hair not taken out was left at a decent length.
-
What do you think is it shock loss or minituarisation.By the way there was no minituarisation before procedure. So i guess it cant be all of sudden.
Shock loss as it is in your donor area.It should recover in 1-3 months.
-
Most likely it is shock loss.
After my transplants I had some shock loss & my hair in donor & in some area's on top of head turned grey.
It did recover quickly though but it was strange.

Thanks for the reply Spanker. I genuinely disagree with your answer to number 1. All the information is on clinic websites etc. or companies selling the machines praising the efficacy of this miracle treatment. I can find the same "science" on laser combs too. There is next to nothing on impartial forums like this. An example of this, one website claims you need 4-5 treatments per year and another claims 1 a year is enough. How am I supposed to know which is the truth?
I am trying to put off HT until I am in my mid-30s which will be in a 2-3 years. This will give me a better idea of the pattern I can expect later on and allow me to better plan. This treatment sounds ideal, assuming it works for me.
I belive laser combs are useful.
I was very skeptical but my surgion suggested it. So I have used one for 2 months & had some good regrowth in thin area's.

Hello
I have had some good/bad news since 1 month ago
I started using CR Labs regime with very good results in one month. It is very expensive but it does work as my pics show. My hair is longer but had regrowth no doubt about & my grafts have not grown in yet. At the moment certaintly don't need a transplant.
But after 2 years on fin I have develped sides & have to go off.
I am worried I will lose alot of hair.
But I will be using the CR Labs programme which has helped me so far.
-Yellow Line(Sebum) will be switching to Green(hair loss prevention)
- Havogen 5 patches
- Hair Max Laser Comb 3 times. 2 times straight after using the CR Labs Shampoo's.
- Minox
I also am only 3 months after my 2nd transplant which was shown in OP.
-
Also my hair has turned more grey pretty quick since transplant.
Both in donor area behind and in area's on top of head. Very annoying at 27.

hairman22,
It appears you have very early thinning in the vertex at this point. You may be correct that you also have a little shock loss, although it is less likely because the last transplant was in the frontal region.
Some surgeons, like myself, do not like to do any work in the vertex in young patients.(<35 yoa) The reason is that we are not sure how your hairloss will progress. Typically starting to lose hair in your early 20s signals that you will have severe thinning for the rest of your life.
It is great that you are on finasteride and minoxidil. These will go far for helping to prevent more loss.
Even if you decided that you still wanted transplants in the vertex, I don't believe it would make a tremendous difference for you. It is a strange reality, but placing some grafts in an area with only a little thinning doesn't make as much as a difference as placing grafts in a very bald area. I believe you would be disappointed. Also, placing grafts in an area with already a fair amount of existing native hair could injure the native hair there.
The best bet would be to consider growing you hair slightly longer to better cover the crown. Also, you could use topical coverup such as Toppik or the more permanent SMP to create an illusion of more density.
I think it is a bit worse than early thinning especially post op. I have got some grafts placed there already just unsure if I got enough.
-
Keep your grafts for the frontal third for now. You have shock loss now and are at your low point. Stay on fin, wait a year, and reevaluate.
Will those shock loss hairs come back?

Hi
I am 27 years old. I have had 2 transplants using 1500 & 1200 grafts for my hairline mostly.
Just had my 2nd transplant in May.
I ma currently using fin 2 years & minoxidial for 2 years(I did stop minox & lost some hair near crown.
My doctor has said I have excellent donor hair which is good news.
But I am thinking about arranging another transplant for my vertex area as I don't believe I received enough grafts in this area . I may have suffered shock loss in this area also.
1st pic March 2015 no fin or transplant
2nd pic pre op May 2017.
3rd pic post op May 2017
4th pic July 2017 hair has shed
But did I recieve enough grafts in the vertex area just in front of crown?
Should I get a transplant on My Crown/Vertex top of Head
