I’m not that thrilled with the results, density is not where I thought it would be at this stage. On another note I do see a lot of fine hair that has to mature and a couple of new hairs poking through. Keep in mind these pictures were takin in harsh over head lighting and with me combing my hair back to expose the areas. I took pictures before showering so my hair was oily, and pictures after I showered (wet). I will also show how my hair is dried after I showered because it does look different than the ones I took before showering. Let me know what you guys think ? Do I still have a shot of some nice thickness still coming ?

I make 6 months today and looks like we’re on the same boat as far as progress. I’ve been told it will thicken up a lot starting now ! I will be following your post goodluck !!

I’m a week away from my 6 months, I had a very small amount of grafts places on my left temporal point. I got a haircut yesterday (fade) and you can see exactly where the grafts were placed will this blend in more with time or this is how it’s always going to be ? The transplanted hairs are way more thick and darker compared to my native hair in that area. Thanks community!

Yea I really like him as a doctor. He uses manual punch does all the extractions and helps with the planting. He was very knowledgeable and deffinity wasn’t trying to sell me on it. Has no type of marketing which is a plus in my book. I guess the only thing I can do is wait at this point. I just wish the redness would go down more. How long was it til the redness for you subsided ?

Exactly, I read the same exact thing. Got me a little worried because everyone that was complaining at 6 months most likely were unhappy with the results at the end. I’m like I’m almost At 6 months and I don’t see it happening. Yea i spend a lot of my time looking at everyone’s progress, which probably isn’t good I’m constantly checking my hair too. It’s driving me crazy hahah.

Ya it’s just so discouraging seeing people at 5-6 months and they have great growth and density. Im at 5 1/2 months I just expected it to be more dense at this stage and the fact that my head is still read and pinkish doesn’t help either.

So that’s when growth should really take flight you say? Obviously I’m asking because of my own progress which I have a thread open if you want to take a look my last post was at 20 weeks.

Hey Craig, What a difference from 7 months to 15months! How many grafts did you get tranplanted ? And do you have a better picture of it now ? Thanks

What would consider you as a slow grower ? You see a lot of good results from people when they reach 4-6 months. I’m assuming those are fast growers. I’m asking because I see a lot of people saying to others that are at 6 months to wait that they will see more growth and not to judge the procedure just yet. Does anyone personally have pictures of a drastic improvement of their results from months 4-6 to let’s say 1 year? All the people that I’ve seen with poor results at 6 months never change when it gets to one year, at least not drastically to where they are satisfied. They always end up getting another procedure. Thanks.

a little over 5 months ago I got an fue procedure done to restore my hairline and temples (1561 grafts) I’m noticing that when I shower and my hair is all completely wet it looks all even as far as density and when it’s dry it looks more see through. Could it be that when the hair is dry it looks so thin that you can’t really see it and when it’s wet it’s more noticeable ? Anyone else run into this? Thanks !

Finasteride is over the counter ? I thought only a doctor could prescribe it ?

Hey memzinla, The work looks very good, the only thing that sucks is after all the hairs shed it’s a long process. I’m at alittle over 5 months and and I still need a little more density to be satisfied completely and I am starting to see a lot of hairs breaking through the skin so I’m sure I still have another month or 2 til I get there. Hey hsrp10, So how someone decides to transport money out of the country when traveling as precaution can effect the result of the procedure ? I’m sure the same guy who decided to travel like that would do it going to any place out of the country as it’s a foreign place and you don’t know what can happen. I honestly base my selection on results, what method is used to extract the grafts and who does the extractions. I’m not trying to start anything but I just thought what you said was funny. Now Mexico itself is an iffy place, yes.

Okay so 20 weeks since I got it done.. I still have redness and the coverage is okay I guess not super thrilled but I know it’s still early. Hopefully in the coming months it’s thickens up and the redness goes away Here are some pics with my hair down and with me revealing the areas

I hope.. after watching everyone’s progress I was expecting a little more by 16 weeks. But let’s see what happens at month 5 or 6. Fingers crossed ??

Today marks 16 weeks since op. A lot of white hairs which is hard to see a lot of darker hairs which you can see in the pics and some dots which are hairs growing. I’ve actually left the house without a hat and no one really stares or even looks twice. Just looks like it’s thinning in the area. I do use caboki when I go out tho to make it look fuller. Redness is going away slowly only down side but since Dr Nader told me to start using mederma it’s been a big difference. These are the pictures, let me know what you guys think.. keep in mind it’s a sunny day and I’m in my work van a lot of light coming in. Oh and happy thanksgiving to all !

How far out are you in the first pic?

Ya I’m taking these pills that have biotin and a bunch of other stuff that’s suppose to thicken up hair I’ll post a pic ... I saw your recent pictures hair is looking great ! You take propecia or just biotin?

Day 94 lmk what you guys think Some hairs just started to sprout and others are long. Hopefully everything starts to grow soon. Second picture is little black heads that come out if I rub them. No bleeding no pain , doctor said those are hairs that were suppose to shed. Dr. Nader is great with texting btw as soon as I text him he responds immediately ! I’ve been using caboki for now when I go out and it’s great. I’ve never used that b4 but I had a baptism to go to and couldn’t wear a hat. Boy did that do the trick. Hopefully in a month Or 2 I won’t have to use it no more .
