I had my procedure done 13 months ago if any one is interested in looking through the pictures and details. I want to have another procedure but I don’t know what to do. I have consulted in person with Dr Bloxham and I think he is my best shot at getting a great result but only problem is he is leaning obviously towards mfue and if any more work is needed after the mfue It would end up becoming an fut scar. Dr edrogan would be my other choice if I decide to go fue. I filled out his consultation form online and was told by one of his patient coordinators that I should wait 15 months post op from my procedure before I do anything. Im unsure if I should go the fut route with dr Bloxham or go with fue route again but with dr edrogan this time. I’m kind of scared of the scar I really don’t want it to be noticeable. I usually have haircuts with the sides faded but I wouldn’t mind growing out my hair if the results are good. What do you guys think? Thanks

I’m one day away from 1 year post op these are my results it’s a big difference from where I started just not as dense as I would like.

I will be doing 1 year update guys soon. Results did improve. Aug 4th I will update (1 year)

How’s 10 months looking?

Hey what’s up wilkinte, Haven’t heard from you in awhile.. when are you posting some pictures up ? Thanks man .. I’m not 100% satisfied but I’m getting there. Hopefully by 10 -12 months it’s thickens up some more up . Fingers crossed.

Hey fortuneplant, nice how’s your ht going? How far along are you? My recipient area is okay not perfect, I can leave the house with my hair styled and no one will notice anything but I personally can see some redness still in the area. Overall i am happy with how everything is. Every month it looks better and the redness is fading.

Their are still a lot of hairs that’s are short some thin some thicker. Based on what I see and what is still yet to come I am happy but I can’t say I’m 100% satisfied right now but when everything grows out and thickens up I’m sure I will be . I guess I’m a slow grower but idc as long as I get to the finish line you know.

I have a lot of long white hairs that are hard to see hopefully those hairs thicken up. Let me know what you guys think Pictures are in natural light in my car comb over and straight up and last one is preop

What’s up legend I think it has gotten slightly denser. I make 8 months exactly today. I didn’t have time to update with pictures today but I will tomorrow. I actually noticed today when I was looking at my hair I still have a lot of white fine hairs that are just as long as my hair but aren’t making any cosmetic diff. Yet so I’m guessing I still have to wait for those hairs to thicken up. Once the thinner hairs thicken up I’m sure I’ll be happy . I’m gonna see if I can get a picture of those hairs 2.

What’s up rwethereyet .. I’ll be doing my 8 month update in like another week and a half. I’m about the same as you more or less .. I guess we’re late bloomers I’m sure at 10 months we’ll be in better shape .

Dr diep does good work man you deff won’t be disappointed. I would of gone with him 2 but I can’t justify the money lol do you have a post up with pictures ?

Arminius - I think it’s too early for that. Some people get great results in the first 6 months and others takes alittle longer. It’s not like I have a horrible outcome. It’s all there just not as thick as I hoped at this point. But to honest when examined closely I can see a lot of white hairs so I have faith in the next couple of months it will be thicker and if that’s the case I will be thrilled I just want a little more density and redness to go down. widowspeak- yea I agree. I’m going to give it some more time, I am seeing things change. Legend - I think doctor Nader did a good job on me and I think I will be satisfied by 10 months. I am seeing changes in density since 6 months. My hair loss was only temples/hairline. He randomly placed grafts around the whole top but I was not lossing hairs in my mid. Worse case Senario I’ll go for a second to address a couple areas. A lot can change tho let’s see

Redness is still present sometimes more than other times idk why. But overall not bad. I usually leave the house with my hair combed forward and I have no problem at all. Hopefully when it gets denser I can do a combover and eventually grow my hair out and comb it back. It has deff gotten denser..if this continues month by month I think I will be satisfied. Lemme know what you guys think ?

I am exactly the same as you. It’s frustrating I know. I have a microscope and when looking at the recipient area I can see a lot of white hairs that you can’t see with the naked eye. I’m sure you have the same. My doctor said it’s normal and to just give it time and it will thicken up. Goodluck man and all we can do is wait and see.

Yea I spoke to Dr Nader and he said it’s till early and I should be satisfied by the time I reach 10 months that it’s still gonna thicken up considerably. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I take vitamins only that have biotin msm and other things to help hair get thicker and stronger. Look a couple pages back and you can see what I take. I uploaded a picture of it. I don’t take fin or min.

On another note I leave the house like this with nothing my hair and it looks normal

I do think it will get better, but the transplanted hair was transplanted into the temples & hairline mainly and he he put some random hairs around the midscalp if you look at my post op pics. I have a feeling I’m gonna need the full 12 months. I could also be needing a second procedure as well .. I guess only time will tell
