  1. That's great and congratulations on the operation. Please share reviews with us in the forum as I can't find many recent reviews for Dr Rahal. Also, if he estimates 8k grafts to be transplanted from your donor via FUE in total then you must have an exceptional donor?
  2. That's disappointing if it is confirmed to be the case
  3. Thank you for your response. I'm a bit concerned with the lack of patients with Dr Rahal lately as I admired his hairline work.
  4. I strongly disagree with you. This is "not" a good result for the amount of grafts transplanted given that the patient's hair quality is quiet good to begin with. I'd suggest you address the problem rather than irrationally defend it. This behavior won't do Dr Cooley any favors. Regards.
  5. Hey guys, Considering a FUT as I want to maximize my donor capacity for possible future transplants before I look into FUE. I'm in my early 30's and I am NW3. I gather that most members in the forums have lots of experience regarding transplants Who'd you recommend as a good FUT surgeon with consistently great results? so far I've gathered the following list: Dr Diep; Dr Hasson; Dr Rahal; Dr Feller; Dr Gabel. Would you add any one to the list? What's your experiences with any of the aforementioned Dr's? Do you still believe that FUT is superior to FUE in terms of donor management, yield and hair growth? Thanks
  6. Why don't you guys think of rebuilding the hairline/midscalp via hair transplant with a good density/coverage, and if the crown starts going and there isn't enough donor to cover it then may be wear a synthetic hair piece for the crown only that matches the hair texture/colour? I mean that way you won't worry about the hairline looking fake if you have a hairpiece on it? What's your thoughts on that guys
  7. Hi, Can you guys please list the top/best FUT doctors around the world based on the quality of their work, ethics, natural looking results invisible scare and cost. I think FUT is still the safer way to go from what I've been seeing/reading in terms of success rate and graft survival rate as hair transplants are risky procedures and the last thing you want is cutting a chunk of your scalp, waste thousands of good healthy donor hair just to end up with a low yield failed expensive procedure! So if you can list the top FUT surgeons then it will make it easier for us to start shortlisting.
  8. Now that's what i call a fantastic hairline design, and a fantastic yield in general!! looks VERY aesthetic and natural enough to me!! i would love for my hair line to look like that!! i have definitely been considering Dr. Maras and HDC, and i have been in contact with one of their reps lately( (leonard). I do have a few questions that i would like to get some answers for from you Alex please: 1- Did this patient take finasteride? 2- Does he have any concealers in his after pictures? because it looks like he may have had some concealers on. 3- Did Dr. Maras perform 100% of the surgery? (Extractions, incisions, slits and implantations?) 4- Can you post more picture of the results of the patient's hair from the top, back and sides as well? Kind regards, Fito
  9. I agree that the hair line is definitely not too high. But, the temples look bad in my opinion. They really look like they do need another HT. And No, a 31 years old temples should NOT be empty. So, its not age appropriate. However, the middle of the hairline looks good.
  10. Biolizard, At first, i was very sympathetic towards you, and you stressed the hell out of me. But after seeing your half cropped, barely showing anything pictures, I sincerely hate you now. Thanks
  11. Tried it, had side effects after a few weeks, so my body can't tolerate it well Do you think a hair transplant would be an ideal option for me now?
  12. Hi David, i have a similar problem too, i cant accept a friend request from Dr. Lupanzula. Can you please help with verifying and activating my account? thanks
  13. Looks fantastic!!! Congratulations and enjoy your new hairline )) I have a few questions if you don't mind me: 1- Are you on Propecia? 2- Did Saifi use a Manual FUE technique? 3- Did Saifi perform the whole op on you? (extractions, incisions, slits and implantations?) 4- How much did it cost for 1600 grafts? 5- Do you have a hair break down per graft that you may share with us? Thanks
  14. Thats exactly what happens to me everyday!!! but i am 28 and NW3, so is that normal or should i start worrying?? Also, i dont know whether to take the OP seriously or not, most people here they only shed 14 hairs per shower!!!!
  15. I hope you never experience any of its horrible side effects!! And you're results look fabulous! The problem is i am very scared to take finasteride as it is impossible to know whether it will give side effects or not beforehand
  16. Fantastic choices, as they all perform Manual FUE. Have you thought about Dr. Bhatti?
  17. Looking fabulous dude, congratulations on the fantastic new hairline!! Enjoy your results However, i am a bit confused as to decide whether these results were due to a good hair transplant or due to Propecia. I mean obviously the results are due to a combination of both, but, would you have still gotten the same result if you did not take propecia?? Also, i hope you do realise the dangerous side effects of propecia Nontheless, your hairline looks natural and great!
  18. What does it benefit me as a patient if my surgeon is a pioneer at what he do, but he has no interest in me and my future, and all he cares about is staking on piles of money??!! The problem is, he seems to overestimate the graft numbers on purpose!! Because i asked him TWICE to go for a more conservative approach rather than butcher my donor area at the age of 28, and i got ZERO replies for 2 weeks now!! While it only took him 2 days to quote me 4000-5000 grafts!!!! That's ethics out of the window right there, and he SHOULD be called out for it to stop this behaviour!!
  19. What's more ridiculous is Erdogan and his Clinic ASMED seem to be consistent with their ridiculously overestimating of graft number for lots of patients, and there's still not many people on this forum calling him out for it, especially the moderators!! I remember one of the moderators commented before on the reason why some surgeons are not recommended by the forum, and one of the reasons to that is that they overestimate on their graft numbers!! while Erdogan seems to do it consistently!!! They guy wants to literally transplant 80% of my donor area while I'm still 28 and NW3 only!! with an absolute disregard for my future!!! How is that even ethical in the slightest??!!! And why would I care if he's work is amazing if he is going to make me look good for 5-10 years then later on when I start losing more hair I'll be left with a severely weakened and depleted donor area??? And imagine if he gave me a bad hair transplant with 5000 grafts!! which can happen to any surgeon in the world, and I'm sure he is not immune to that possibility!! Then what will i do from then??? I don't even think he even has a refunding policy!!! So basically he butchers people's donor area with an absolute disregard for their future, age and situation, hence, his cheap prices!!! Again, how is that even ethical??? And how is he not getting called out for it on this forum yet??!!!!!
  20. Dr. Erdogan gives ridiculous quotes for graft numbers though. Im 28 and barely NW3 and he quoted me 4000-5000 grafts!!! and when i asked him to be more conservative i didn't even get a reply back!! i really don't understand how is high very highly rated here?!?!
