  1. Hi All, Thought i'd start the discussion on the highest regarded Beard and Eyebrows transplant surgeons in the world? and their prices per graft. Your input is much appreciated
  2. This is one of the best write ups about a hair transplant. I don’t know how to thank you enough for your thread I am from Australia too and seeing your amazing post made me consider Dr Pathomvanish as well. The scabs and hair look great for say 11, and you are right about not expecting much growth for the next 3 months (the ugly duckling phase). I hope you keep updating us as you are providing us with invaluable information Thanks again.
  3. My humble understanding is that FUT when done properly can save a decent amount of donor grafts which can be utilised in future transplants if needed. This is a huge bonus to those who are susceptible for more hair loss in the future. Additionally, a skilled Surgeon will be able to minimise the scar to a good level. However, this sometimes relies on the patients genetics. In my humble opinion, FUT still has an great advantages to this day and age if done with the proper hands
  4. The idea is to grow your back hair long enough then cutting it to use it in the making of a frontal piece
  5. Hey guys,I am after making a frontal piece to make up for my NW3 recessionI am wondering if anyone thought of making the piece out of their own hair? I am thinking since it will only be a partial piece so not much hair will be needed to form the piece? That way you are guaranteed the hair texture and color will match yours since its already your own hair.If the option is possible, what is the minimum hair length required to grow and cut to make the piece? and is this something that Eric is willing to experiment with? Thanks for your input.
  6. Looks amazing mate!! Job well done, undetectable hairline with single grafts. Looks like there's some hope in Aussie HT's by Knudsen clinics, particularly Dr Vikram.
  7. Blowdrying with hot air usually damages hair (from experience too), do you use neutral/cold air whilst blowdrying?
  8. Do you guys usually blow dry your hair afterwards? Also, do you sometimes apply toppik after dermmatch to get that volumised effect?
  9. I find it almost impossible to brush/comb the hair after it dries without pulling the life out of it.. Which caused more shedding than usual lately (a thing that i thought i got rid of after Fin and Min ). It's almost becoming stressful for me to use dermmatch now..
  10. Does dermmatch make your hair harder to brush or comb? My hair gets chunky and lumpy when i apply dermmatch on it and it makes it super hard to brush! it gets to a point where the brush pulls hairs off from the pressure to be able to brush through the hair/scalp.Are you guys experiencing this? or am i using dermmatch the wrong way?
  11. You have issues buddy. I'd suggest you consider therapy for your anger management issues.
  12. 1 and 3: I understand, but would derma rolling be of any benefit since minox is being taken orally? 2: Would Duta be more advisable over finasteride if one's on TRT?
  13. Hey guys, Trying to get your thoughts and experiences with the hairloss medication stacks that worked best for you to stop your hairloss. I'm currently on finasteride 1mg and oral minox 2.5mg/d, and i have the queries below please: Is derma rolling still needed if oral minoxidil is used? Does Dutasteride need to be added to the mix at some point? Would an anti androgen topical such as RU58841 or CB-03-01 be advised to be used? Also, If any of you guys is on TRT, would finasteride and minoxidil only be enough to combat for the extra androgens?
  14. Sounds promising. Would you be able to link me to any cases that undergone the similar path to showcase the results? Also, was it relatively easy for the patient to find a system that blended well with the native hairs?
  15. Hey guys, This topic is a wonderment whether anyone has considered using their donor storage to fill the front and mid areas of the scalp to a medium/dense level then wear a synthetic system on the crown if it thins or goes bald down the track? This idea might be attractive for those who have less than ideal donor reserve or if they have advanced norwood levels of hair-loss where the remaining donor is not dense enough to refill the front/mid and crown to a satisfactory density (that is with taking transaction levels and future thinning into account as well). The idea is to have a natural hairline and mid scalp hair that doesn't look "fake" or "unnatural" as this is the main problem with hair systems where they can easily be detectable from the hairline, and only use a synthetic system on the crown as it's a huge surface area to cover. This way, the precious donor can be utilized to fill the hairline, temples and mid-scalp with good density. Has this been done before? and if it has, what are the complexities/complications that might come with it? I understand that finding a system that matches and blends with the surrounding native hairs can be problematic; also; having to wear it and replace it for life can be a daunting task for some.. With that being said, can anyone think of other complexities to this idea that may deem it unfeasible?
  16. Hi guys, I have been following HT industry/forum for a while and after reading and watching many patients/experts advise I sort of made my mind set on getting FUT's first before getting FUE's after maximizing the amount of grafts that can possibly be harvested from an FUT scar. The goal here to be able to maximize the amount of grafts i can get from my donor over my life time just in case if i keep losing more hair down the track (even though i am on Fin/Min/Niz) I have consulted with a few of the Top surgeons and the consensus seems that most of them have advising/pushing towards FUE and are trying to stir away from FUT.. Which makes me wonder whether FUE techniques have improved enough to deliver similar yield and transaction rates to FUT nowadays or whether FUT is still superior in this regard?

  18. Thank you for all the suggestions guys. Much appreciated. I am also wondering whether going for FUT first before exploring the FUE possibilities is still the way to go in order to harvest the most amount possible of healthy grafts from the donor area as I've been getting pushed to go for FUE only by some doctors. I will start a new thread in this regards.
  19. Please let everyone know which clinic is this as it's very important to put pressure on them to assist you to fix your situation, otherwise they may get away with this unethical poor job.
  20. Thanks for the recommendation
  21. How was your experience like?
