Nice work by Dr Wong, nice to see a FUT case with such a good amount of grafts taken 👍🏽

A wise move 👍🏽

This “coolest clinic” is just a intermediary, cut out any middle men and just search for the Dr yourself. Always best to go direct to the source, you don’t need to be paying anyone else. As @RTChas mentioned you don’t want to take any risks on a unknown, look for the more reliable/consistent Drs that have already proven results !

Best place to go in Turkey for Hair Transplant
Britanium replied to FutureHT1208's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Dr Pekiner and Dr Keser are pretty equal in my eyes, and I would personally have them as doing the best work in Turkey. Dr Turan/Dr Gur are most certainly good options, as is Dr Yaman/Dr Demirsoy if someone was looking for affordable yet still having Dr not tech involvement. Dr Bicer is good but for the cost? I would be choosing Dr Pekiner or Dr Keser, or tbh some of the other top Euro options. Don’t take any one persons opinion though, check out as many results from all of these Drs (and more) and make you’re own mind up. What I would agree with is dropping out option 4, don’t consider any tech driven procedure. -
Has anyone heard of Heva Clinic?
Britanium replied to Afro's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
I really should not have mentioned Diep here, just because he does have some good Afro results (years ago) this comment doesn’t hold up anymore. He is now synonymous with poor work and heavy marketing, anybody reading in 2023 and beyond should look elsewhere for someone that still does good work with Afro centric hair. I would still say Turkey isn’t the destination to head too of you’re seeking a Afro specialist. -
Sorry to hear that this didn’t turn out as expected. Few Drs are particularly skilled in Afro hair, as mentioned above Dr Mwamba is someone that you should definitely be consulting with, Dr Bisanga is another that’s very experienced in this area. All is not lost, you just need to see if it was poor surgery/technique or if it’s a issue that could affect another procedure.

Clinicana often have issues with both over harvesting and shock loss. See this recent case, reach out to him when you can DM (after 10 posted messages)

Definitely possible to get repaired, you’re still going to have hair available from the donor area. Plenty of Drs do really good repairs, research here on the forum and you will see who’s considered to do good work. A second ht might give a more homogeneous pattern to the donor area, and would also improve enhance the hairline if needed.

Be careful with these type of websites, they just want you’re cash. By all means converse with the clinic yourself and ask for a refund, partial or otherwise and state you’re reasons why. But they will definitely say give it the full 12 months before passing judgement (standard reply) right now it’s too early. See how it grows out and see how the donor area develops. Even though personally I can see issues with the work that’s been done, it’s going to take some months to see what needs addressing.

You’re right to be concerned, this does indeed look like over harvesting. They have not extracted in a homogeneous way and it could also be a touch of shock loss. The shock loss will of course Improve, unfortunately any over harvesting will not. It’s going to become more evident at a later date on exactly how this will end up looking. You may have made a poor choice when choosing a clinic but a lot of us have also made the same error. Going forward you’re going to have to see how it grows in and then make a decision on what to do next. Dr Laorwong in Thailand is someone that may be a good choice for you’re inevitable next procedure, you’re definitely going to need another which will most likely be classed as a repair. Next time you will be a lot more prepared, unfortunately despite the heavy marketing Turkey is far from doing the best work, in reality it has less than 10 clinics/Drs that can be relied upon, Clinicana isn’t one of those 😞

would surgical ht be an option for me?
Britanium replied to berkserk's topic in Open Hair Loss Topics
If it is possible then it will take the right Dr/Approach. Someone that’s skilled with the highest Norwood levels, you’re at least NW6 heading to NW7 looking at the dipping in you’re crown and those sides perhaps dropping too. Much as there are some decent Drs/Clinics in Turkey, I don’t think any are right for this case. Look toward Dr Pittella, Dr Zarev, Fuegenix, Dr Sethi, @DrTBarghouthiDr Bisanga and Dr Feriduni (these are just some examples) look for results from a similar starting position to yourself. A master plan is needed, this will definitely involve multiple hts, starting meds (Fin/Minox) as quite a few clinics will ask you’re on these before even considering you as a patient. Of course a lot of clinics (hair mills etc) would just accept you but you really do need someone that’s proven to be particularly competent/consistent in the highest levels of loss. First things first though… get you’re donor area checked! -
