  1. Thanks for the clarification and input everyone, it means alot. I was not in a good headspace yesterday. I've come to terms with the fact I got a pretty bad HT. I've been a carpenter for over 15 years so I feel I've got a good idea of how to judge quantities and what looks pleasing to the eye. I definitely feel like they must of thrown out about two thirds of the grafts harvested, especially when taking into account the doubles and tripples. Anyway moving along. If I get a haircut/fade to try and hide the donor area I think it would probably just highlight it at this point. I think it would be best to just let it grow out, the longer the better? I did get the bottom of my hair trimmed up by my barber a few days ago (not shown in previous photos). This is so I can wear a cap and it hides it pretty well. Aside from trimming up the unharvested hair on the bottom of the donor area, I don't know if anything else would help? I got in touch with Dr Kongkiat Laorwong and he basically told me I have to wait ten months before he will even really look at it. I am not the sharpest tool in the shed but I have tried to find a solution to fix this. Do you guys think Dr Kongkiat Laorwong would be able to perhaps extract hairs from my donor area to add density and fix the front? Then I was thinking he might be able to fix up the back with body hair as I will keep that area short and the difference in hairs would be more subtle? Again thankyou all for your help so far, this group has really helped pull me from a dark place. kind regards.
  2. Thankyou for the closure brita. I have been messaging my translator from clinicana and she is trying to tell me it's fine... From what I gather it is possible to fix though? Does Dr Laorwong in Thailand specialise in BHT? Do you think BHT is probably the best course of action? I have reasonably hairy chest. Sorry for asking you all the questions. My mental health is not doing very well after this whole experience. Regards
  3. The doctor was trying to tell me I would be fine with just a fade/skin fade. I feel so let down, stupid and am embarrassed. I typed in google - 'what can you do if your hair transplant goes wrong in turkey' Apparently, according to the site below Removed link You are able to get reimbursed for malpractice. Not sure if there is any truth to this or it is another scam.
  4. I went with Turkey because that is what I read online was the best. I did not know about this site. Can this be repaired? I am trying to look into BHT but obviously I won't be able to have surgery for quite some time. I am very concerned 😟
  5. I would like to add I'm from Australia and tried to find the best hair transplant clinic I could find. I had local consults with surgeons in Australia to try and learn more. I googled best place for a hair transplant and Turkey came up. I then googled best clinics in Turkey and found a list of about 10 or so. I went through and googled the companies to try and find out anything I could and clinicana came out on top. My dog died in a bad way at the end of the year and I was not thinking straight nor felt myself. I decided a hair transplant might be what I need to pull myself up by my bootstraps. Clinicana was by far the most expensive and I assumed you get what you pay for. 2500 euro for scalp (and hotel package) 1800 euro for beard and 765 euro for after care products. So 5065 euros. I feel so stupid, even the after care products I was sold was a type of vitamin and hair serum spray, not sure if it's legit. Definitely feeling dumb and wish I knew about this site before I went on with the surgery. Feeling very anxious but would really like some answers. Regards.
  6. Hi guys, have recently got back from Turkey. I think I have stuffed up here. I feel like my donor area has been grossly over harvested. I had two back surgeries over two days. My first surgery was apparently 2600 grafts to my scalp. My second surgery was apparently 1600 grafts to thicken up my beard. The beard grafts were harvested from this area. I feel like my donor area was over harvested particularly on the section above. I don't feel like I had that much work done and should be missing this much donor hair?? Wanting other people's advice/opinions. I am 18 days post surgery and my donor area looks extremely patchy. I'm not sure it will improve. Admittedly my hair does grow slowly. I am very worried that I have been over harvested with not alot of work to show for it. Any input appreciated. Kind regards
