  1. thanks for this post i hope others read this and learn from your experience not to rush into a transplant they will later regret, why can you take fin?
  2. Hold off, problem is if your hair loss is minimal and you have a transplant you could lose a lot of your native hair behind the transplanted hair, permenently
  3. sheeding i didnt experience, trying for a kid id deffo seek gp advice as i hear it can cause problems
  4. This looks about right, remember dude ur never ganna get the density of the hair you had or still have it's just not possible
  5. First off a tricologist is not going to test your thyroid your dr has reassured you there is no problem, my advice is get on fin asap if you want to keep what you have, I did and I'm nearly 33 and still have a good amount of hair I feel if I didn't take fin when I did I'd be bald by now. Discuss with your gp if it's right for you all the best
  6. I visted the clinic and this clown Paul hill, yes I said clown because he looks like one with that bleach blonde nutty professor hair style, anyway, I didn't feel comfortable with him or there company they rang me non stop after my appointment even when I'm told them I didn't want it done anymore, they offered me a discount very pushy, they have produced poor results check out this guy he used them I think he's results are very poor tbh link below. Let me know your thoughts.
  7. From my research over the last few years I can add this.... Dr reddy although only does fue he isn't a dedicated transplant surgeon he also carrys of many other cosmetic procedures, Dr farjo is well established and deffo knows he's art but I found he prefers FUT and he's deffo the man to go to for this as I feel he's results are very good, from all the surgeon I met in the uk I feel the Harley street hair clinic come top of my list, very impressed with them and they are dedicated in fue, they quote the right grafts and they work round the patients needs only thing is they are very expensive compared to the rest hope this helps you
  8. Hello, i believe from what you described regarding your previous transplanted hair not growing back this could be collateral damage, many hairs are permanently lost during the procedure if they are planted to close together they fight for the same blood supply and some aren't able to survive
  9. I belive it's listed in the possible side effects that in can increase your risk of breast cancer
  10. Depends how far your hair has departed, I would recommend talking to your dr see if he feels propecia can help you, if you think it won't and HT is your decision your buying into a lifetime commitment, so you better have plenty of ?? and as your need multiple surgerys over a lifetime, also your only get back around 30% of your original density there's only so much donor hair that can be moved
  11. I reeceeded to a nw3 about age 23 I'm now 32 and held onto it propecia for 7 years wouldn't risk a transplant because I don't want the risk of permanent shock loss I'm happy with what I've kept this far hope this helps u
  12. If u get to this stage razor is the only option, forget the hair transplant, wig or a bic that's what I say, wtf is he doing with toppik in the 1st place he's as bald as a coote
  13. So I was out shopping today and saw this? Thoughts please http://imgur.com/a/pMEMw
  14. think you need to upload photos there is a lot of surgeons and people here that will give you the right advice, your age in my opinion makes surgery not even an option
  15. i personally decided to stop using the foam, i used it for 3 years, and find no benefit from it, all i got is very oily hair every other day, i take propecia and feel your benefit from that the same as minoxidil
  16. does it matter about grammar? u clearly understand what i mean, with spell checks on phones now its just a quick way to send a message without correcting, so do u have anything to add to the thread thats of relevance or are you here just to correct typos
  17. theres nothing you can do mate, its purely genetic, no matter how much you want to hear there is a cure its not going to happen, mpb starts around the age you have stated, classic sign is receding hairline followed by balding in the crown, yours sounds quite aggressive, and if especially the proscar hasn't helped after 2 years i personally would discontinue it, your still young and risk permanent side effects, do NOT get a hair transplant at your age, shave you freaking head and get on with your life
  18. Didn't think u wud admit it, I have accepted it's not for me have u got memory problems u no the name of the thread right??? I'll give you all another fact for every 1 hair transplanted you can permently lose up to 5 surrounding That's why your playing catch up all the time Shampoo maybe you need to stop commenting if your just going to make up lyes
  19. Why dnt u hold ur hands up and just admit your wrong I've not told anyone not to get a hair transplant in fact I even said it's their life and money to waste do what makes you happy, but me and you and all the top dog surgeons in the world all know a HT is a temporary procedure, but they can't sell as much if they tell the truth people need to hear the words PERMENENT then cha ching another sale. I don't need a degree to make that statement either it's common sense
  20. Again... point me to a post well I tell someone NOT to get a hair transplant
  21. Can you read well, the thread says reason I won't be getting a hair transplant, please point me to a post where I'm advising someone not to get one ??????
  22. Been on this for nearly 4 months solid 0.5mg every day, was on propecia 6 years felt was starting to thin more after that time. Pros still have the same amount of hair does feel slightly thicker also I've noticed my hair does not get oily anymore in the mornings. Cons My libido has taken a dive, my erections are not strong at all this is making me want to stop it now rather than ride it out 12 months Any thoughts guys
