And i feel new growth but i cant see it. Then stronger lightening. Stare in the mirror for minutes. Feel bad and concious :eek: And then finally remember its just the beginning. Nice progress so far and more than honest pictures.. It looks good in normal light but thin in the sunshine.. But only 4 months POST OP from your 2nd surgery so nothing to worry about. But just one thing.. I am a Norwood 5A and the crown is really very small as i think it is normal for a NW5A. But i decided to leave the crown untouched and give 120cm2 on top of my head all the 5800 grafts from both procedures. Thats an average density of 48FUs/cm2 and that should defenitely give me good coverage and even density. My crown is hairy enough to conceal it unnoticeable when all is grown out. That said, Nw5A is not NW5a. The question should be how big is your head. Not which Norwood scale someone is. Hairtransplant=Mathematics and a good doc. I hope youll enjoy your ned hair in 2 more months when you arrive the 6 month mark. Im 3 weeks behind you

Great write up man... Helped me a lot as i can figure out your progress month to month and it seems that your 3 month growth was not that spectacular as mine is neither So youre at the end of your journey and im deep in it^^ One week after my 3 month mark and time seems chilling around and every day is like a week .. Hopefully i will end up with a good result in 3 more months time.. But the waiting sucks. One little question: The last few weeks i feel that my recipient area is very itchy. And i can see tons of little hairs popping threw the skin. And ever hair in a different lenght.. it looks crazy but i want cut it off now cause i wanna have a result as fast as possible as every one else^^. It seems like youre a fast grower to. So the question is when was the first time (monthmark) you were satisfied with the density of your transplant? At which timeline you would call your HT a complete success story (for the first time) ? all the best to you.

Hey man.. You should not expect a difference to the 3 months mark.. I think month 2-4 are the toughest and yeah im 1 week after my 3 month mark so i know what im talking about Patience is the key... but it sucks I cant wait for my 4 month mark as from there it will hopefully get better and better from week to week. Now my head is very itchy, and there is a lot of new growth. But all in different lenght and density is hopefully not at the maximum now because thats not enough .. Im looking forward for your progress and wish you fast and good growth. Remember, it takes time ;(

Of course they want show us the "bad ones". But there is a difference between doc and doc.. Youve ever seen much bad results from Hasson and Wong or someone in that boat? And not only clinics show results, real patients to.

Dont put all docs in the same bottle...

Big mistake to go to the same doc who failed the first one like this again.. I feel for you bro. All the best for your future And man... Forget about it. Youre done with transplants. Maybe in the future is something like a "cure"... But yeah that could take 10 that could take 100 years

Sorry to say, but if his hair is to fine to get near any acceptable density he should not go for the surgery. Thats only my oppinion by the way. And what is to fine? I know guys with thicl hair will have the "better" result in times of density. BUT say a micronnumber. Most caucasian guys have fine hair ~50micron. If his hair is in that range it should be possible to get an acceptable density. Im sure your patient is happy with his result, but in my oppinion its to easy to say that his hair is simply to fine to get a dense hairline. His baldness is very advanced, thats for sure. But thats not the reason youre telling us. You say that the hair is simply to fine. lets say 50-60FUs/cm2 That should be enough for every kind of hair when the hair is healthy. But maybe the patients hair is much finer than im guessing.. So tell me doc . All the best

Lol Thankfully im not checking my hair every 15 minutes More 2-3 times daily but then 5-10 minutes^^. Looking for new babys haha High five in front of the mirror.. Oh yes that happened The problem is we are waiting for happiness but at this stage there is simply no way to be absolutely happy. The hair is growing in different lengths and you look not very good and not what you are hopeing and waiting for. And noone knows how the result will look like exactly.. Thats the hard thing. If i would know that i will be super happy with my result then it would be much easier to wait. Right now the fantasy is somewhere over the rainbow and you cant imagine that this creepy hair will turn into a nice haircut in maybe 3 more months. But for everyone on the 3 month mark. Next 3 month will be MUCH MUCH more fun!!!!

Just a short timeline from my 3 month experiece so far Month0-1: Time flys by... Because youre happy that you did it and the post operative care take all your time. Month1-Month2: Waiting start... And its a looooooooong month. Every day seems to wait and wait until the sun goes down and you can go to bed to do the same waiting game next day . This time i start to realize that this will not help me.. Its the wrong way to go threw this tough time. Month2-3: Maaaan... Im so happy that my 3 month mark arrived yesterday^^ Not 1 week before 3 month. Not a day. In fact one day after 3 month. And its a good feeling to be there and see that the hairgrowth kicked in. In fact it kicked in after 2 month but now there is much more growth going on. Density is low. But hey... 3 month post OP and as i got all in all 5800 grafts on a 120cm2 area that should be a pretty amazing result for me and the density should be nice . I expect no miracles. I expect an illusion of a full head of hair . Thats what im hopeing for. But to be honest... There is an Ed Sheeran song... And one sentence maybe you know that song: Patience my enemy... And exactly that is whats going on haha.. But Dr. Koray said i will be very satisfied with my result. I choose a NW 1,5-2 hairline so conservative... Because the density is more important for me. Im an MMA fighter (not professional) and my training is what help me in this time. And when i go back to the gym they hopefully will think: Who the fuck is this new good looking guy?

Im sitting here in the boring room, just waiting for my hair to grow every afternoon... 3 month post op So im exactly there haha But the last week was easier .. Just chill.. Its 3 months now!!!! And the next 3 month will be fun ! All the best

Haha dude:D Lets hope this will be the case :cool: So today i start a competition with myself. I can wear a hat all the time when im Outsider even in work so i have the possibility to try that from right now until 22 December. Thats MY 4 month mark. I look everytime in the mirrow for the last three Months and check MY hair for hours.. BUT now i realized that this will not help me. So the competition is stay away from Checkens my hair for the next month. Will be not that easy.. BUT when i wann check it i will work out instead of looking in the mirrow Or just relax and do something else. Try to forget about it. And this is the ONLY way to see the real Progression. Hey dude! Yeah... Slowly but for sure the waiting game comes to an end... Hopefully im happier in 2-3 more months. To your question. Noone noticed my procedure after 3 weeks. I would say 1-7 days after they will defenitely notice, because youre very red and the donor area is short and you can see where the hair was taken from at this point. But after 3 weeks its no big deal.. The redness is not that aggresive anymorw and if u want u can cover it with some make up.. So yes, tough is for me the waiting game as im an impatient freak But the waiting game is necessary and part of the journey and i already know that before so i have to deal with it. The first month will fly by like a bird u will see.. But then in the middle of month 2 time goes slower and slower And you cant await the 3 month mark as it is the first milestone haha ;D All the best to your procedure! Dr. Koray is a great guy.. He did a lot for me. And hey, when youre on your 3 month milestone i already will be much happier with my hair !

Which kind of skin concealers would you recommend?.. Maybe someone With experience can say something about that. I Have hopefully after MY transplant finale grows in ONLY a VERY small miniaturisized crown to worry about. So There is hair amt Toppik works great There Before i got the procedure. BUT maybe with a skin concealer it is even better in combination. All the best

Would defenitely help to make the threads more organized. I tried many times to upload more then one pic in the thread. And what do you think about the pics for my 3 month mark in 8 days ? I think i have to wait another 3 month to see the "big improvements" ant the reason why i underwent the surgery.. All the best

Edit: pics are under the harshest lightening possible So notice that haha .. One question to all here: I think maybe 10-20% or even a bit more in the frontal third of my grafts are growing right after the transplant. they are thick and 3cms long already.. But the hairs that start growing around month 2 are veeeery short and thin.. So this should mean i should not look at this hairs as the same to my growth right after the procedure, because my new growth will be MUCH slower? All the best

Hey guys In 8 days the 3 month milestone is there... And what can i say... Its tough... Veeeery very tough.. Man... Im no "pussy" or something but this patienceperiod is so hard.. I really try to relax and chill out. Sometimes it works... Sometimes im freaking out. Dont misunderstand me. Im not depressed or something.. Its not to bad. But yeah you all know how it feels. I hope the next 3 months will be fun. A nice head of hair is all i wish for christmas.. Really.. Its all i need. It will give me my social life back.. I mean i have friends and ladys in my life. But with my hair situation before the surgery.. I was very upset with it But yeah the hardest part should be over in 8 days... 3 month post op. That sounds great And then "just" another month to christmas anf hey baby, 2016 will be my year!!! :DD To my situation right now: Still on Finasteride which is great. I can see and feel new growth EVERYwhere in the transplanted area. Donor heald completely. And the hair that grow right after surgery is doing very well and give me some coverage already.. Not much bit hey its only 3 month. I guess im on track? I hope so.. Ive got with my Two procedures 5810 grafts for an area og around 120cm2 My crown is very small.. And there is enough hair for toppik or dermatch. I really dont care about that. Maybe i will fix it in the future.. But i think not in the near future.. Just wanna enjoy my hair in a few months... @Shadow: I disagree with you. If youre Young and going for a hat, Finasteride should be on board. And if it is, there is no reason to wait until youre 30 or 40. He wants hair NOW. Not in some years. IF his loss is stable and he is well informed, i would go for it! Life is to short to worry about: Oh my god, what will happen in 5 years... You will see whats there... in 5 years Maybe good, maybe bad. You dont know. I dont know. Maybe god knows. But noone else.
