  1. Dr. Bernstein, I have a question. How much density would this patient need for full coverage even with hair styled straight to the back? I mean which density per cm2. Thanks!
  2. Hey guys! I have a question. Im taking Finasterid for 1 1/2 year now. Im a diffus thinner from hairline to vertex. The problem zone is only the top of my head. This area is ~120cm2. I had a transplant a year ago with 1300 grafts for a area around 50cm2 i think. So thats a density of 26FUs/cm2. It looks okay but very thin. Is that normal with a density of 26Fus/cm2 and fine hair? I think so.. For the whole area i think i will need around 4500 grafts for e nice result. Midscalp and crown there is a density of my natural hair between 20-25Fus/cm2 and it seems, that Finasterid can safe this hair. So an a total bald area 4500Grafts to a area with the size of 120cm2 gives a density of 37 which would be 'well' But plus the 1300 grafts in the first operation and the rest density of my natural hair i should expect a density over 50Grafts/cm2 and denser in the frontal region. In my donor area there is a density of 80 FUs/cm2 So i can get nearly 70% density of my original density back. That should be enough or what are you thinking? Sorry for my hortible english. Its not my motherlanguage. All the best! I hope for replies!
  3. Retograd? You mean, your donor is also thinning? If you mean only your neck hairline.. I know so many NW1 with a receding neck hairline^^ So thats just not a real problem only for alopecia sufferers .
  4. Nice result! How big was the are where the grafts were transplanted? All the best
  5. But its veeeeery thin lookin.. Thats not naturally.. Its simply not dense enough
  6. The frontal hairline looks very nice. But the midscalp looks not very dense.. Thats maybe a 35-40Fus/cm2 density..
  7. With fine hair (between 0,2-0,4micron) and a donor density of lets say 80FUs/cm2 you will need a density between 55-60FUs/cm2. Thats veeeeery dense.. But thats the only way with fine hair. As much density as possible.. You cant find much good HTs with very fine hair.. But it is possible if you choose the right doc. All the best Edit: Colour of your skin and hair is also important. But with 55-60Fus/cm2... Doesnt matter
  8. Thanks ror your reply Can you show me a goodl HT Result with thin hair? All the best
  9. Hey guys! Im planing a hairtransplant at the end of the year. I had a FUT transplant (to less grafts for a to big area) and wanna do a final and second shoot with a FUE specialist.. My diffuse area is 120cm2 big. On Fin for over a year.. Hairloss stabilisized. My problem is, that i have very fine dark blond hair.. And i cant see good results with fine hair.. Is there any good result with fine hair on this site? My donor density is 80FUs/cm2 So if i get a density of 55-60FUs/cm2 in the hairline, that should be enough. All the best Attached 1 donor pic
  10. Thank you, im fine ! Dr Koray thinks (send him pictures) that i will need 4500 grafts for an perfect result. No second OP in planing so i hope i can fix my problem with 4500 Grafts. Im on Finasterid since 1 year now.. Hairloss totally stopped. My area is around 120cm2 big. Its only the top of the head. There is also hair left.. So we will see . I wish you all the luck, that in 3 more months youre totally happy with your result! And stay on Propecia! It will help you a lot. All the best
  11. Hey man! How are you? Im very interested on your result because i have a Fut scar too (not as big as yours) and its absolutely unbelievable that Koray could take 4000 grafts again Very happy for you! Is the scar visibke now? Or is it all fine with long enough hair? All the best
  12. @Dr.Dogonay What happened with the Donor of this patient? It seems a lot thicker and fuller now.. And was the patient thinning over the safe donor area? So the area between clearly bald and full hair at the back. Was there any miniaturisation? ?all the best
  13. Hi dany! Seems that things come better and better I wish you all the luck.. One question.. How large is the area between side and side on the top of your head. I mean from side to side a line. How long? 8-10cm? Lg
  14. Hi guys, i have a question. A HT Doc was checking my donor density. 80/cm2 This is my "normal" density. So, im a diffuse NW4 and on medication for a year now. My vertex is a bit thin (only the top of my head) and the donor area is thick. So, i have existing hair in my NW4. I think a density between 20-30cm2. If a doc is able to give me 40cm2 on the hole area and he not destroy my existing hair to much i should be fine? Because then i have a density around 60-70cm2. Since i was a little boy my hair was alway thin. So no Elvis hairstyle possible but a smart haircut like Ashton Kutcher (not so thick hair). So thin hair should not be the big problem if you never had much more. And when my donor looks very thick with 80cm2 my top should look like the donor. Am i right? Edit: Is there any case here with thin darkblond hair? Would be fine to see some because the most cases have thick hair.. all the best and sorry for my english. its not my motherlanguage
