  1. It looks right on track for 5 months. You’ll continue to see improvement until 12 months and even beyond. This will look great when all is said and done!
  2. This last Wednesday, February 28th, was 17 weeks and today is 4 months post-op. A lot has happened in the last month. Most of the hairs in my hairline have sprouted. Some never fell off during the ugly duckling phase and just continued to grow. I still feel a lot of stubble in my hairline so that’s pretty cool. It’s all mostly very close to my scalp. More hair to look forward to. My crown has made some good headway this month but there’s still a ton of stubble up there, as well. From where I started my crown is in really good shape! I went on vacation on February 14th. We only recently got back and I went straight back to work. When I left I was putting dermmatch in my hair and when I got back I didn’t have to. While there’s still a lot of stubble in my hairline it is almost exactly where I want it to be. Both sides of my temple corners seem to be really strong and there’s just a little room for improvement right in the center of my hairline. It’s extremely minimal improvement to be made, for sure. My hairline is very very strong now but, again, there’s still lots of stubble so improvement isn’t far behind. I’ve got some photos of my hairline on the plane. They’re a little potato but they’re there to show how I was putting concealer in my hairline vs just two weeks later (now). These were taken on February 14th.There’s no concealer in my corners there. Just in the center. I took these next pictures a couple of days ago. There is nothing in my hairline except for hair! That’s the difference of 14 days. So while there’s still room for improvement…I’m extremely happy about where I am. What I am currently waiting for is some more body in my crown so that I can try cutting my hair shorter on the top. Currently my long hair still continues to cover my crown. This is what my crown looks like exposed. There’s a lot of progress there. I’m very pleased with how things are progressing so soon during this journey. So that’s mostly all for now. If there are any drastic changes I’ll be back otherwise I’ll be back for an update at 5 months. I’ll still be around on the forum, though. ✌🏻
  3. You don't look like you suffer from hair loss. 👏🏻👏🏻 🤯 like, at all!!
  4. I think it looks brilliant…but I thought it looked brilliant last month also! Lol I think once the hairs mature and thicken the density will be 👌🏼👌🏼
  5. What a difference! It's crazy how hair makes the man. This procedure easily took you back to your early 20’s. Congratulations! This is 🔥🔥
  6. This is excellent documentation. Thanks for sharing such a personal moment. It's extremely helpful for those small occasions when others might be going through the same thing. Your donor and recipient both look to be in incredible shape for everything you've gone through. You have a great outlook about everything. 👍🏼✌️🏼 Happy growing!
  7. I would say that you should expect quite a bit more progress over the coming months. You're only 5 months in and these hairs are going to go through a lot until the 12 month mark. You’ll more than likely notice a bit more growth and then those hairs are going to go through a maturation process. They’ll get longer and thicker giving even more density. You got this. It's gonna be awesome! 👍🏼👍🏼
  8. I mean, it's just so common, even in Konior cases, for one side to lag behind another. Considering your recession it honestly looks really solid for where you are in the process. How are you styling it? Are you letting it fall forward?
  9. @Felipe Pianzoli For a guy that started in deep NW6 heading into hard NW7 territory this is literally as good as it gets. Are you happy with where you're at or would you prefer to get any more work done?
  10. @Shadman Yo, what a complete turnaround! I would just like to say that I’m sorry that you have to deal with what Dr. Bhatti did to you previously. What an incredible transformation, though!! I'm sure there are things about it that you hope will resolve but from my point of view your hair looks so curly, full, and natural. And this is only 8 months! Congratulations!
  11. @jackofallBro! Holy moly, that is one fluffy head of hair!! Thanks for the response. I think by the 12 to 18 month mark these areas will work themselves out. Probably sooner. You’ve already seen remarkable improvements just in the past couple of months. It all looks fantastic. Even that thinner spot right in front of the hairline. While it may not be where you want it to be, density wise, at least it still looks very natural and it could very well become much thicker in the coming months. You’re in such a good position right now with still months and months left to go. I’m super jealous of all that hair !!🤣 I also have to agree 100% with @Gatsby about Dr. Bhatti. You would not be in the excellent position that you are in if you had gone to that doctor. Even if you had gone to him and had the procedure and everything grew properly. He just doesn’t have the same eye for aesthetic as Dr’s Arika and Priya-this is just my opinion… Congrats again! Looking forward to the coming months for you!
  12. Home. 👏🏻 Run. 👏🏻 Incoming. 👏🏻 Holy moly. This already looks so good and you still have SO MUCH time left for everything!! Congratulations! I’m very happy that this is turning out so well for you.
  13. I also wanted to add that if you use the search tool you’ll find plenty of Clinic posted results and Patient results scattered throughout. There’s still a wealth of information there.
  14. I don’t think that Dr. Rahal is underrated on the forum but he’s not talked about as much as he used to be. About 10 years ago (and before) there were many patient posted cases here and then they slowly stopped posting. Rahal is still recommended by the forum and I wish there were more patient posted cases. Most of the cases posted were absolutely amazing!
  15. Any time is the best time. The sooner the better. They both have different mechanisms that work really well in conjunction with one another. I take 1mg of Fin and 2.5 of Oral Minox. Dosages can be higher. You could hop on Biotin if you’re not already taking it.
  16. Thanks @BaldV. I really appreciate your support. It means a lot! 🙂✌🏻
  17. Thanks @A_4_Archan I really appreciate your support! Looking forward to the future!
  18. Yesterday was 13 weeks post-op. Today is 3 months. Right after I posted my last monthly update I almost immediately started getting acne in my crown. Growth has been slow and steady. I‘m seeing sprouts already popping up in the hairline and in my crown. Of course there is a difference in what the hairline looks like under different lights. It’s thinner looking under harsher lights and stronger looking under softer lights. First and foremost. Here’s what I looked like before any operation. Here I am now 3 months post op my 2nd procedure. Same bathroom and technically the same lighting, however, my camera is different and it takes in light differently. All of the next photos are under harsh light with no product or concealer in my hair. As I said, under a softer light my hair looks stronger. No product is in my hair. here are some close ups, again, with no product. When I go out I typically still put a little dermmatch in my hairline. Here’s the difference that it makes. Without With Without With and with it makes a huge difference. My goal, of course, is to go out with the use of any product in my hair. This is working for me right now Here is the current situation with my crown. Really fuzzy but lacking in bulk which is to be expected around this time. Here is how my hair covers up the scar. The scar looks like a scar but my hair easily covers it up. Here’s the scar. The pictures won’t load correctly but you can see that it’s stretched. I mean, I say it with every update but it doesn’t bother me. I’m going to throw some FUE into it and I’ll probably put some SMP into it, as well. So all in all I’m making progress but my journey is FAR from over. That’s pretty much all for now. If anything happens I’ll hop back on but otherwise I’ll update again at 4 months. ✌🏻
  19. My response is 2 weeks later so I don’t know if you’re still having some pain back there but even if you are it’s extremely normal for most guys to report pain back there during this time. I can only speak to pain from strip. But a lot of accounts on the forum report pain in the donor sometimes upwards of 3 to 4 months post-op.
  20. @mojonesFrom the photos you posted it doesn’t look as though the doctor spread the grafts out enough. It looks like he targeted the hairline with 2000 grafts and then spread 500 grafts throughout your frontal third/mid scalp. If your goal was to rebuild your hairline and bulk up a little behind it then that would be a good approach. If you wanted to build up the entire body of your frontal third overall then this may not serve you well in the future especially if you’re not able to tolerate finasteride. You’re going to continue to chase the loss with more transplants. This isn’t bad, necessarily, but it can be a hassle. To answer your question, It’s pretty common for doctors to place grafts in between existing hairs in order to bulk up the density. I don’t think it’s ever a bad approach for people with diffuse loss as long as the doctor performing the procedure has experience doing this and consistently gets good results doing it. All that you can do at this point is wait it out and see how everything grows out. I do feel strongly that you should reach out to your doctor and at least one other reputable surgeon, if not more, to get everyone’s input.
  21. @Faisal Alsubaie, everything looks great so far! This is a very interesting case and will be hugely beneficial in helping others both avoid mistakes and choosing a good doctor to help with repairs. I was scrolling through your threads trying to see if you had already said but I didn’t come across it-maybe you did say it already? But I was wondering if you were planning to lower those corners back down at all with the repair or if you were just going to strengthen the hairline, as is(I saw that you were planning on putting singles back in there) Looking at your pre-op pics, your hairline was great but was lacking strength. I understand how clinics mess with your head, though. The unethical clinics always play the worst psychological games to get you in their chairs. Bisanga, as others have stated, was an excellent choice to move forward with for a repair. Again, I was just wondering if your plan was to strengthen your existing hairline by placing a bunch of singles in there to camouflage those bulkier grafts or if you were going to lower it at all? Or even a combination? Slightly lowering it to help hide those multis? Did the doctor mention that during your consultation? Apologies if you did, in fact, already go over this.
