  1. The beard hairs look like they’re already growing! Wow looking wonderful mate.
  2. At 4 weeks it may be shock loss. But only time will tell.
  3. Refinement refers to hair placement, graft selection and overall appearance. In my opinion, the cheaper places may give decent density, but the refinement lacks. Watch this video, three excellent surgeons, three excellent outcomes that are consistent. It’s a fallacy to start shopping around like your shopping for cars. The best in the world charge a premium for a reason.
  4. Believe me there’s a big difference in the doctors you’ve mentioned in terms of growth, refinement and quality. You’re getting surgery, it’s not like shopping for a TV, this is your head we’re talking about.
  5. That’s totally fine, but I was just pointing out the difference between indoor vs. outdoor. Here’s a better example of what can be achieved. @Egott92 good surgeon, good donor, good hair thickness and curl. Outdoor similar lighting.
  6. There are several factors to unpack. Outdoor vs. indoor, facing light vs. facing away from light. Graft placement, and whether multiples were placed in the hairline. All of these factors will affect the overall appearance. indoor Outdoor directly facing light Outdoor not directly in sun
  7. What type of medication? Have you considered switching? Perhaps it might be worthwhile to consider topical dutasteride. You have diffuse hair loss which is difficult. If you get on proper medication, you could potentially get regrowth in the crown and midscalp, significantly lowering the number of grafts you need.
  8. Honestly, do nothing. Doing nothing is never a bad choice. If you can’t afford a good surgeon. Don’t do it, much better to shave it costs nothing.
  9. I think some of are you are confusing what I said, let me be clear. Never ever did I say the temple points we’re good. In fact, I said they were bad on multiple occasions. I can only go based off the photos in this thread, but to me, the hairline itself isn’t bad. I believe it’s an acceptable outcome. Again, based off the photos presented here. I’m not referring to the temple points at all.
  10. Indoor vs. outdoor isn’t the same lighting. In fact, I would categorize this as favorable lighting.
  11. The crown is not gone enough to get an HT in my opinion. You risk more than you gain. I would stick with finasteride, perhaps include some other treatments like minoxidil, laser therapy, dermaroller, etc. You can also use hair fibers, which work wonders in the crown.
  12. You removed the pictures, I saw them and I thought it looked decent. Perhaps the hair texture was a little coarse. Give it time to soften up.
  13. Honestly, the main thing growing has been the temple points. I feel like i'm pretty satisfied with how it looks now.
  14. The misconception that medication regrows hair, truthfully, the goal is to stop further hair loss. The only real method to regrow hair is surgery.
  15. Dr. Charles is a great surgeon, very impressed with him.
  16. Dr. Doganay has a terrible reputation, do a little research. In Turkey, I would consider Dr. Bicer.
  17. Wow impressive repair, only 6 months, please share your updates with us.
