I am on finasteride, has helped with stabilising my hair loss so has done it’s basic job at least. I know the difficulty in having a transplant with diffused thinning and the problems that can occur but seeing others with the same problem or in a worse condition get successful transplants has definitely gave me optimism. What is the best way to get in contact for consultation? Email?

I’ve tried retinol before as I also microneedle and it didn’t seem to show any improvement, I think I’m just the unlucky percentage who sees no regrowth but might give it another chance

Thanks for the reply Melvin, I’m on the big 3 for medication. Was looking into trying some topical duta as I’ve heard it working for some others when Fin hadn’t gave any regrowth. Been on this stack for almost 3 years so was kinda hoping I had some regrowth in the crown, has made me rethink options on Drs as I was hoping to just get a transplant on the hairline had I regrown a sufficient amount in crown and mid scalp.

Yeah you’re right in saying that I’m underestimating the amount of grafts I need to get full coverage but knew I’d need to get a couple of procedures over the coming years. Anyone else you recommend for this type of hairloss? I know all the doctors on my list would be able to give me great results just by what I’ve seen with their previous results.

Long time lurker on this forum so just looking for some advice or opinions on which doctor will be best for my hair loss, on medication for years which has stabilised the loss but didn’t get much regrowth. I’m 27 and have been losing hair since I was 19 so been in and out of this forum looking at results and researching for a while, My type of hair loss is diffused so this has sort of made my choice of doctor a lot harder for me, a lot of my top choices were doctors whose results I’ve seen have been with people who have receded hairlines and aren’t diffusing. The options of doctors I was considering are Dr Bruno Ferreira, Dr De Fretias, Dr Bruno Pinto and more recently been looking at more work from Eugenix as they seem to have a lot more results with people of my type of hair loss. Not had any consultations with any doctors yet so not sure yet how many grafts I’d need, just from what I’ve seen with others I’d be thinking 3000+. Any advice or opinions on who else I should consider would be appreciated.
